    Two combinations plate.

After picking my wife from work, we headed to Acradia first and then drove thru Huntington Drive to turn Myrtle Ave and park a public parking spot on E Colorado. Across the street, there's a restaurant called La Adelita Mexican restaurant. I remember this restaurant we passed and went to another restaurant just a block away. We cross the street to the restaurant it's a small restaurant like a hole in the wall, but many surprises. First, we look at their menu displaying outside they have good lunch specials, and then the waitress saw us and then greet us in the restaurant and anywhere we like then she hand us the menu. The menu has three sections breakfast, lunch and dinner,we were looking at the lunch specials, and then we decided to order my wife to order the chicken Fajitas come with rice and beans then I order the two item combinations plate the first item is the chili renello and my second item is the hard chicken taco then the waitress brought us chips and salsa. The chips and salsa they were good, and the tortilla were freshly made out of the fryer, and salsa is also freshly made. The waitess brought us our meal it looks fabulous and made fresh and made to order. The rice is amazing. It's a good pac with flavor in each bite and also fluffy. The beans were very good and also full of flavor that I really enjoyed. The chili renello is one of my favorites. This chili renello is so good that the egg coating is amazing, fluffy, and light. The chile wasn't spicy, but good and cheese were good and cheesy. The hard chicken taco was good. I really like it. My wife enjoys her chicken Fajitas amazing flavors. She enjoys the plate. Overall, we enjoy the food at La Adelita Mexican restaurant. Everything is made fresh and made to order. The one thing we like is the open kitchen. You see the cooks making the food their are the heart of the kitchen and waitess and making everybody happy.

Parking was a little tricky. La Adelita came recommended and I wanted to try the Mexican Fare near the area. Ordered the Chicken Super Burrito, but it was just okay. The food was decent. I liked the green sauce. The salsa and chips were just okay as well.

Updated reviews for my La Adelita little amazing hole in the wall. The best albondigas, the best vegetable soup the best hardshell chicken tacos. So good, always great customer service. The spicy salsa and the vegetable soup are the way to go!

Let me start with the customer service , the lady who helped us ,did a great job ,, this restaurant it is small but the food flavor it is really good

Very small place with just a couple of tables inside and out. One server who was friendly, the owner was also there and was friendly. My only complaint was the food was bland and lacked flavor. I got a beef burrito and it just wasn't great. Bummed I had to give such a poor review.

Good authentic Mexican food, great service good prices. If in the area stop by and support. Ambiance feels like you're in Mexico.

3.5 Stars Stopped in for breakfast, as our initial restaurant choice down the street had over an hour wait. We were seated immediately at La Adelita, outside on the sidewalk, and the service was friendly and quick. We thought the food was okay. I enjoyed my Huevos Rancheros ($11.99), but my wife wasn't too keen on the Chilaquiles con Huevos ($11.99) in red sauce. One of her pet peeves is orange cheese (cheddar) used in Mexican restaurants and this one did use it. I thought that the salsa that came with the complimentary chips had a nice flavor. They also had a red "hot" sauce, for those that like to kick things up a notch. Inside dining area, kitchen, and restroom were clean. Parking is either on the street or in a city lot across the street. I'd give them another try, perhaps for lunch or dinner next time.

The wait was long, but it was expected, and we weren't in any rush. The service was great, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the chorizo con papas, which came with beans and handmade tortillas. Everything was amazing, and I can't wait to go back. Another reason for this post is to apologize and recognize the incredible staff. We ended up staying about an hour after closing because my friend and I hadn't seen each other in nearly two years. We got so caught up talking and reminiscing that we didn't even realize we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Not once did anyone ask us to leave or make us feel like we had overstayed our welcome. We know staying that long after closing is inconsiderate, and it was never our intention. We sincerely apologize for that. Thank you to the entire staff for your patience, kindness, and hospitality. We truly appreciate you giving us the time to catch up, and we'll definitely be back--for the amazing food and the exceptional service.

First of all I walked in and they have high top table seating which I love! The waitress greeted me and said I can choose where to sit she brought over the meñus alongside chips and salsa. I noticed they have 7tvs in there and they were broadcasting sports so it might be something to think about for the upcoming fifa games (: I browsed through the meñu and couldn't decide! They serve breakfast chilaquiles breakfast burritos, fajitas, seafood, tacos, cocktails d camaron and of course a Michelada meñu. I went ahead and ordered the shrimp tacos and a agua d piña (pineapple) to drink since I was driving I couldn't order a michi but I'll be back soon to try! Anyways my food got to the table and omg they hook it up with shrimp on top and purple onion and avocado! It was so tasty the tacos are under all that and they were nice and cheesy filled with shrimp which is sautéed in their own garlic oil type of mixture. The pineapple drink was so refreshing I honestly didn't finish my Food or the drink I had to take it to go! I recommend this place!! I'm planning a girls night so I'll be back soon ( :

My only note is that the service was really lacking and inattentive. One of the waitresses was on their phones and standing around throughout her shift. She looked bothered when we flagged her down to ask for and collect the check. Other than the mediocre service, it was a decent experience. Overall, I would ask for take out next time I return.

We recently tried this Mexican restaurant and unfortunately the food and drinks were very…read moredisappointing. The margaritas were honestly some of the worst we've had -- they tasted like straight margarita mix blended with ice, and we could barely drink them. The enchiladas were also very underwhelming, especially for the price. It was basically shredded chicken in tortillas with sauce, rice, and beans, and for $20 it just wasn't worth it. The food tasted very Americanized and lacked authentic Mexican flavor and seasoning. That being said, the customer service was amazing. The two ladies who helped us were incredibly attentive, kind, and kept checking on us. They offered extra drinks and multiple items, which we normally appreciate because when we go to Mexican restaurants we usually order multiple rounds and end with Cadillac margaritas. Unfortunately, the drinks were so bad we didn't want to order anything else, but their effort and service did not go unnoticed. One small disappointment was when I asked for hot sauce to add more flavor to my green sauce enchiladas, and I was brought the same red enchilada sauce instead, which made the meal worse. I am a food and beverage manager myself, and I can honestly say I would hire those two servers in a heartbeat because they were fabulous. The service was excellent -- it's just the food and drinks that really need improvement.
