Anyways, this place is dirt cheap for the amount of food you get. They have dollar tacos on tuesdays. They have delicious and cheap sopes. They have burritos for 7 bucks, and you can pick from a variety of meats. I was hungry and this was close to me and it hit the spot! The truck was located about a block north of the directions given on Google (2062 S Myrtle Ave). It was parked on a long, wide, not particularly busy street. When I went at 9:30pm, it was very easy to just pull up behind the truck. In the 20 minutes that I was there, about seven other parties came up to get tacos which I thought was a surprisingly high number of people considering what a random location we were in. It was taco Tuesday!!! $1 tacos!!! Tacos hit the spot. It's not like ... WAIT IN LINE tacos. But there's barely a line! The people are friendly, they give a huge helping of radishes, GIANT limes, and cucumber slices. They had three little plastic stools available for sitting. We were the only people to sit and eat. Another time I honestly hate to give this rating. The food is decent and the place is close to the house so it makes for something quick and easy when you don't really want "commercial fast food". I usually come for taco Tuesday $1 tacos and as I said the food is decent. The meat looks a bit more chopped up but I figure that's the deal for the $1 tacos. Also I don't believe all the meat options are available for the Tuesday deal. I probably would have given a 4 star review on other circumstances, but the reason for the 2 star is the inconsistent hours. It says they're open until 12 midnight but that's not the case. They bounce out early a lot and you can never tell when that's gonna be. I've gone a few times now and it looks like they were never there; most of the time before 11pm. Sucks. read more

This place is legit. I usually come here once a week and try as much as I can. This is one of the few taco trucks I know of that has a wide variety of food. Sopes, sincronizadas, and tortas included. Only 5 min from the house vs. 20 min into Pasadena. Sooo happy we did. Great variety of meats. Really loved that the meats were not very salty thus giving one a choice to add salt. No MSG either! We tried cabeza, lengua, ŕcarnitas, barbacoa and al pastor. Least favorite al pastor as it was too dry. Rest were very tender and moist. Already looking to go back to try the rest..lol!! We always end up going to Pasadena...We finally tried this taco truck on Myrtle and it was a win! 1) They have an A rating! Wouldn't eat anywhere with any other grade. 2) Their truck is well kept and clean, peeked inside and everything looks very clean. 3) Tacos were tasty, and good cuts of meat. If you stick with al pastor tacos you will enjoy a 5 star meal. Salsas were great and the servers were friendly and efficient. The carne asada and buche were just ok. The rest of meats were so fatty ( more fat than meat) and swimming in oil-- untrimmed poor quality cuts. These were one star only. But I will definitely be back for al pastor. read more
