Yazzy/ Yazmine was INCREDIBLE, she wasn't even our server but made the comfortability and immaculate like genuinely incredible experience at this place. I'm an AGM at 3 revenue centers in Temecula, and I would scoop her up as an employee in a heart beat. Mathias was our server and he also did an amazing job, but the real highlight besides the absolutely amazing food was the bartender! Btw their Carne Asada was so juicy and fresh big shout out to the cooks and every part of this place. If I am in town I will be back.

The "Pescado Al Limon" aka "Lemon Soup featuring Tumeric Curry Fish &Soggy Char Grilled Veggies"

The owner literally used AI to respond to my review... (check out pics) and that makes it even worse! Instead of genuine accountability, it reads like an owner having a temper tantrum using ChatGPT to defend overpriced food with no flavor! Also noticed almost every bad review gets an oddly defensive or aggressive response. I was not harsh, I was actually honest! Those servers are amazing do not forget about the good parts I mentioned! My waitress was kind and very attentive. She even thanked me for the yelp review! Bad food is bad food. Saying "different palettes" or "many guests enjoy it" doesn't change the fact that the Pescado al Limón was NOT good. And nothing about that watery lemon soup passing as "sauce" felt authentic to Mexican cuisine. You can't throw an orchid on the plate, up-charge dishes by $15-$20, and expect presentation to carry the meal.

Stumbled in here on a very random note, visiting from out of town. Coming from San Diego Area, I really appreciated the authentic food and great service i received here. Yazmin and Mathias were very hospitable and welcoming. When we are back in this area I'd like to stop by again.

We had a fantastic dinner here. The whole family enjoyed it. Food was flavorful and beautifully served. We had the steak fajita and carnitas del chef. The tomato wine reduction of the sizzling plate of fajita was amazing. The pieces of carnitas were clean cut and crispy on the outside. The corn and flour tortillas tasted freshly made and came out piping hot. We were served warm chips and salsa when we sat down, and they refilled it for us. Great service! We will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.

This was such a wonderful surprise!!! Have driven by tons of times, looks so cute, finally decided to stop in and I am so glad we did!!! Came on a Friday evening, service was excellent, all the employees were extremely helpful. The food was so good!! The happy hour menu was great, drinks and food were all very tasty!! I will say the bowl of pozole seems expensive, BUT, it is HUGE and can feed you for multiple meals so absolutely worth it!!!! Will definitely come back!!

Went here for the Saturday Brunch Buffet! Omg it was soo good, there was a nice lil selection of food to choose from. The chile rellano was delicious as were the hard shell potato tacos. The service was amazing, the staff was very attentive. It was so quick and easy to order waffles or chilaquiles. The margarita flight was so bomb !! The mimosa are nice and strong. Will be back again

This place is my new favorite restaurant. I am so excited to return soon! The server was so authentic and kind. These were the best tacos I have ever had in my entire life!!! If you like your steak rare, go ahead and order them rare and you will not be disappointed. The tortillas were amazing. Everything was so fresh! The food came out very quickly. I'm still so impressed and super glad I stopped in on a whim.

I have ordered food from here 2x via DoorDash with no complaints but today was the first time I dined in. Came in on a Sunday late afternoon and it wasn't too busy inside. Was seated right away and offered drinks, we were also told it was happy hour so that was a nice surprise. I ordered my usual potato and cheese taquitos and my bf got the beef flautas. I also got a mango margarita while my bf got a beer. Everything was delicious and the service was 10/10. They even offered every table a little rack to hold our purses which I loved. I will continue to come back here and order from here when I can't physically make it in- I love this place!

I had been wanting to try this place out for a while now. But hadn't had the opportunity to do so. So when the chance finally came up, I A lined it to this place. So we showed up on a day where they were offering brunch, which is a yummy buffet. But I wanted to try their specialty dishes because that's where I would be able to determine how good the food really is. Let me start with the place looked clean. They set everything up nicely where it offered plenty of space for everyone to maneuver their way around the buffet. We didn't wait long to be seated so we were promptly serviced. Our server was delightful. I believe her name was Catia or something like that, idk she was mainly behind the bar, but was very friendly, she made me feel like I had come home to my aunts house and she was treating us as family so that was very nice. The queso dish as N appetizer was delicious, the chorizo it had on top was cooked to perfection. The carne asada place was very delicious. The meat was very tender, cooked the way we asked for it. And the chile relleno had carne asada in it so it was to die for. I usually start with the beans and rice, because of those aren't good you know the rest of the food will be crap. So happy that they were delicious. Authentic, you can tell they didn't come from a can. So my compliments to the chef. They had very cute coat racks next to every table which I thought was adorable and handy. For the restaurant being pretty busy it wasn't overwhelming. The noise level was tolerable. And the buffet I hear was decently priced. I saw that they had mimosa flights, I didn't partake but I saw them being made. They looked tasty. All in all a great experience. Loved that the parking lot wasn't frustrating, we were able to find parking right away. Thank you for having us and I hope to be back soon.

Finally decided to try el canton and what better day than mother's day! Took the whole family for Sunday brunch buffet and man oh man was it good. From pinto beans to enchiladas, chiles rellenos, rajas con crema, ceviches omelets and all that Mexican stuff I mean come on. What else could you ask for?. They even got a guy outside making them omelets and chilaquiles. From the buffet the birria and aguachiles definitely took the spotlight tho! Birria hella tender and tasty. The aguachiles was also fire. I mean everything was good, all the way to the little desert section. All the awas frescas and the flights were good, too. Authentic Mexican restaurant. Now service wise, all the employees seemed busy doing their work, and our server kept checking on us the whole time we were there, making sure everything was ohkay. They really make the guests feel welcomed! Im definitely coming back to el canton de la patrona sooner than later..

I went solo but they have tables in tons of sizes so group hangs and dates are good here, too! Personally, I love a good people watching spot and enjoyed hanging out at Stone yesterday afternoon. I grabbed a tall two top in the corner of the outdoor patio and was super relaxed. The staff was great, helping me with recommendations and super quick & generous on the pours. I came in to try a 2016 Imperial Russian Stout I saw they had tapped and ended up trying taster size portions of 6 beers - all very solid. I'm biased to love deep cuts so the 10.6% Imperial Russian Stout was my fav of the day but I also enjoyed the lightness of the Stone Wil Power, a 4.5% fruited kettle sour with mango, tangerine and lychee. They have a ton of indoor seating but also the patio is just so nice & relaxing here. Very chill, quiet vibes and they open at 12pm on weekdays. Perfect atmosphere for work meetings or a liquid lunch meetup. Even the bathroom was cool with colorful grafitti abound. I liked the whole vibe of Stone. It's a cool brewery plopped down in the middle of Pasadena! For non-beer people, a Miller Lite is 4.2% in comparison so why not have a much tastier craft beer in place of that swill! Really enjoyed Stone Brewing in Pasadena and it was a perfect experience. I will absolutely be back!

For most of the night, I had a great time minding my own business, watching videos quietly on my phone in a corner of the bar. As I was getting ready to leave, a random guy sitting nearby asked me to lower the volume on my phone. Whether he intended to be polite or not, it felt condescending, territorial, and completely unnecessary. They were speaking louder than my phone, yet somehow my phone was the issue. It honestly felt like a case of "local syndrome," where someone felt empowered to tell me what to do in a place that isn't theirs. I didn't want to create a scene, so I generously tipped the bartender and left. But I was genuinely upset that I was told to be quiet while I was simply minding my own business in a corner. The place itself does not deserve a bad review because of the actions of one customer. However, if this person is in any way connected to management or staff, I would seriously reconsider my rating and change it to one star--something I never done before. I think a little more compassion and understanding toward fellow customers would go a long way.

Hey Brian, I wanted…read moreto reach out about something that happened tonight that I feel you should know about. I also want to be clear that all of this transpired after you had already left for the evening. For context, I'm a regular at the bar and have been coming in for quite a while. I've never had a major issue with Brent or Steven, even though they both have personalities that can come across as sarcastic or abrasive. I've generally let it go because my reason for coming to the bar is simple: I come in to have a few beers, relax, and enjoy myself. Tonight, while I was still drinking one of my beers and had some left in the glass, Brent came by and took it away as if I was finished. I jokingly said something along the lines of, "I guess you're not going to let me finish the last bit." I wasn't upset and wasn't trying to start an argument. It was an obvious mistake that could have been solved with a simple apology. Instead, he responded with a snarky comment rather than acknowledging the mistake. Later, he brought another beer to my table. I made eye contact with him and before I could even say anything, he asked, "Do you want to say something to me?" I replied, "No, I just wanted to say thank you." His response was, "Your eyes are telling me differently." Again, I found that unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. At that point, I decided to leave a $0 tip. I normally tip very well, often around 30% or more, and this was the first time I've intentionally left no tip because I wanted to send a message that I was unhappy with the way I was being treated. After that, Steven came over and confronted me about leaving no tip. He asked if I was really zeroing it out and questioned me about whether something had happened between me and Brent. I told him that whatever issue I had was not his concern, and he responded, "Fair enough." I assumed that would be the end of it. Instead, Brent came outside and confronted me. He told me Steven had said I had a problem with him. I explained that I didn't have a personal problem with him; my issue was his attitude and the way he was treating me as a customer. Rather than listening, he became increasingly hostile. I reminded him that I'm a customer and that I'm only there to buy beer from the business. I'm not there to deal with sarcasm, attitude, or an employee's emotions. As a paying customer, the minimum I expect is basic respect. I shouldn't have to walk on eggshells or accept being spoken to disrespectfully while simply trying to enjoy a beer. That confrontation ended poorly and he went back inside. A short time later, he came back out and confronted me again, this time in front of other customers. The situation became even more uncomfortable because it was happening publicly. During that exchange, he ultimately told me that I was not welcome back. Again, I reminded him that I am a paying customer whose only purpose in being there is to support the business and enjoy a beer. I should not be getting into arguments with employees, being confronted in front of other patrons, or being told I'm not welcome because I expressed concerns about how I was being treated. The bigger issue is that, in my opinion, this isn't just about tonight. This has been months in the making. I've noticed a pattern with both Brent and Steven where they seem to have become comfortable treating customers with attitude and sarcasm in ways that shouldn't be acceptable in a customer-facing role. I've overlooked it many times because I enjoy the bar and didn't think it was worth making an issue out of. On the other hand, employees like Kim, Josh, and David have always treated me and other customers with professionalism and respect. They know how to joke around while still making customers feel welcome. I've never had an issue with them. From my perspective, the problem is specifically Brent and, to a lesser extent, Steven. Brent especially has developed a demeanor that I find unwelcoming, confrontational, and disrespectful toward customers. I don't think I'm the only person who feels this way. Tonight was simply the point where it crossed a line. I'm not sending this because I want anyone fired or punished. I simply think you should know what happened, especially since it all occurred after you had left. I've spent a lot of time and money at your establishment over the years, and I would hope that customers--especially regulars--can expect basic courtesy and respect from the people serving them. I wanted to give you my side of the story directly. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
