Saw this food truck at the Monrovia Farmers market on Friday. I only wanted two tacos but apparently the minimum was 5 tacos so I ended up getting 5 for $16. They don't list the prices on the truck (or at least I couldn't find it) and $3 a taco seemed a bit steep. In the end tacos tasted okay, nothing spectacular but not bad.

    Birria tacos with consommé....delicious!!!

I found this food truck on Yelp as usual when I look for new places! The comments were encouraging! Since my family loves birria, I decided to try their birria tacos first! And of course the consommé! Honestly this is one of the best birria tacos I have ever tried. I am planning to try the rest of their menu. Great place, a flavorful taste of birria and consommé in addition to their good price.

Birria Tacos, Birria Ramen, and Quesadilla.

While driving along Arrow Hwy, we decided to grab some lunch and passed by this food truck. I have yet to try birria yet, so the time has finally come. I made a quick U-turn into a dirt parking lot. When I looked up their Instagram, I was surprised to see how popular this food truck is. We went ahead and ordered 4 birria tacos with cheese ($3.75 each), birria ramen ($12.50), and quesadilla ($10.50). While there's a menu, there is no pricing anymore --so a bit skeptical of that. Hope this helps you a little. If I had known the price, maybe we would've skipped out on the ramen (which really wasn't worth, btw). Once we got home to eat, we realized we had to order the consume separately, which was one of the main reasons we wanted to try birria. That was a bit disappointing. Luckily, we had the birria ramen, so we used that to dip our tacos into. The tacos were crunchy and didn't get all wet and soggy when dipped. It was also full of flavor for the perfect bite. As for the ramen and quesadilla, they were overwhelming. The ramen is all hype, I can tell you that. Instead, save that money and order more tacos! If you haven't tried birria yet, this spot is great! Highly recommend the birria tacos with consume, but pass on the ramen and quesadilla.

Birria pizza. Super salty for my taste otherwise it would have been amazing

I would have said a 10/10 if it weren't for all the items being way too salty. My party of 6 needed a liter of water afterwards. We got the vampiros (qty of 3), pizza and ramen and it was all so tasty and delicious, fresh, hot and perfect textures just unfortunately way too salty for all of us and I can't recommend it or say I'd return to purchase again due to that. Also pretty pricey. $70 for the 3 orders

    The delicious birria truck!!

How has there not been a Yelp page for this place?? This food truck serves birria and it is delicious and very affordable! I originally discovered this place on Instragram. The pictures and videos looked amazing and I knew I had to try them!! However, originally their locations were kind of far from me as it was in LA area. Later they came to this Glendora/Covina location and I knew I had to try it!! Being a food truck, the food here is for sure NOT overpriced at all!! This food truck also beats many brick and motor birria places I have tried as well. Tacos dorados, which are my favorite items here are only $3 each for a crispy cheese and birria filled taco! They have the ones without cheese for only $2. Consume for your dipping pleasure is only $3 a cup as well. They also have quesadillas and some other items. I will take a picture of the menu next time. The menu is small, but everything on it is affordable. Canned soda here is also only $1 a can. Unfortunately, some items such as birria curly fries are only at their other locations. I have tried several birria taco places down here in southern cali and this place is for sure my favorite. The birria tacos dorados are super crispy, juicy, and tasty. If I am feeling for soupy, I will order the consume to dip with it. Consume is also tasty and filled with meat in it also. I have been to some places where the consume is JUST the soup with no meat and have costs more per cup also. This place it is $3 for an 8 ounce cup, which when you are dipping is more than enough soup. As far as parking. It is a food truck and it is located right on Arrow Highway. It is parked next to a dirt area, so if the street parking is full, you can always pull into the dirt lot. It does get busy here, but the food comes out in a timely manner. The workers have always been friendly to me. Most recently, the food truck says cash only, so have some cash on hand!! I will for sure be coming back here to get my birria taco fix again!!

    Mostly fat in these tacos

First time ordering from this taco truck. I ordered 5 birria tacos for 16.42. I waited over 30 minutes for my order. I was really hoping to love these tacos so didn't mind the wait. As soon as I saw the tacos my appetite went away. The meat wasn't even dark red, it was more on the orange side. These tacos were the worst birria tacos I've ever had. Couldn't even finish 1. It was mostly fat.

    Salty salty salty

Searching for a Birria Ramen and found this at Yelp. First of all other helpers are right when they said that the ramen is salty, it was actually really salty!! I already added 8oz of hot water to it but still not enough. So this is a warning to anyone who wants to try it. Next, we ordered birria burrito but given an asada instead. I mean you wouldn't k ow it till you open it at home right? They put lots of meat thought and we thought they did not put rice or beans but turned out all the meat is on the other half and a few meat, rice and the rest is on the other end so I don't know you should have one bite on each side to get them both in your mouth lol. Lastly, it would be helpful if you put your price on the menu so you would have to be asked by the customer and customer won't be wondering or even shocked by the price correct?

The combination of pinto beans, grilled chicken, Spanish rice, and Pico de gallo made for a perfect blend. This bowl tasted similar to El Pollo Loco's pollo bowl, but it was larger and had more of everything. The horchata I had was also very good. The service I received was good, and the vibe here is relaxed and enjoyable. The prices were just right for my lunch, and after visiting once, I will definitely come back to try more items on the menu.

He said it was good, but the flavors just weren't quite there. My son had the 3 carne asada taco combo with rice, beans, and a drink. He gave the tacos a 7/10 as well. I ordered the 2 chicken taquitos with a side of guacamole. They were tasty! They're not your typical taquitos..the shell is much thinner, almost like an egg roll wrapper, which gave them a different texture that I actually liked. My only thought was the value. The two taquitos were almost $10, and for that price I think adding a third taquito would make the portion feel a little more in line with the rest of the menu. The 3-taco combo was around the same price and included rice, beans, and a drink, so it just felt like the better value. Service was friendly, and there was plenty of outdoor seating, with some indoor seating available as well. Overall, it was a good lunch stop if you're in the area.

The food has always been solid. The tacos are flavorful, the portions are generous, and they do not skimp on the meat. It can be a little on the oily side, but for a food truck that is part of the experience and it still hits every time. You can tell the team works hard. Even when they're busy the line moves and the quality has been consistent every visit. The pricing is more than fair for what you get, which is another reason we kept coming back. It had been a while since my last stop, but I saw the truck driving the other day and it reminded me I needed to leave a review. Definitely due for another late night taco run soon.

There wasn't a line at around 5:30 pm, so it was quick to order. This truck accepts Zelle payments, which was huge! After browsing their menu, I ordered (1) al pastor burrito, (1) carnitas taco, and (1) chorizo taco. Despite a large order, everything was neatly packed within 10 minutes. They also included the sauces in the bag. The chorizo taco was a bit lacking in flavor, but I consider it 3/5. I liked the asada tacos a lot better and consider it a 3.5/5. For the burrito, this was definitely my favorite and I'd give it a 4/5. There was a lot of flavor in the onion, beans, rice, etc. The only drawback was the burrito was falling apart with each bite, so be prepared to get messy! One thing to note is that the pepper they gave was very spicy. If you're looking to dine here, there are a few tables in the front that accommodates large groups.
