I had to try The Taco Man out on taco Tuesday. Can't beat $2 tacos. The al pastor tacos were a highlight, but the chorizo tacos were just as impressive. Both full of flavor without being overly greasy. Everything tasted fresh, from the warm tortillas to the toppings, and the salsas had a good amount of heat. The tacos themselves also had a good amount of meat. Seriously, for $2 each, I'm happy. This seems to be their taco Tuesday special. Service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth checking out if you're grabbing a beer next door. read more

Hadn't been to Glendora Marketplace in a while and me & my son wanted to try this place after seeing it on IG. I ordered the nachos with everything. My son ordered the Big Donk Burrito which is not even on the menu but its a huge burrito with the works and your choice of meat. It was heavy! This is definitely shareable. The nachos & burrito were so good, definitely recommend. Just FYI the Donk burrito is like $28. Staff was friendly and food area is clean. read more

An okay Chicken Burrito, however the meat itself could be more moist and it's silly they charge extra $ for rice when it should be included in the burrito. An authentic burrito has rice in it. Also, it would taste slightly better if they used refried beans instead of pinto beans. Their green salsa could use more spicy kick and flavor, their red salsa was an improvement. For the price like $14 plus, the quality and taste doesn't fully justify the price tag. I prefer Taco Grill's (in Glendora too) Chicken Burrito over theirs. read more

It's been over a year since i been here. A lot has changed. The one thing that has not changed is how amazing and flavorful these tacos are. I used to live in the area and would come by here quite a bit. I moved away... and now i am sad that i am about 20 mins away. I came here for The Taco Tuesday experience. I was not disappointed. I tried 2 pastor street tacos, 1 ribeye taco, and 1 surf & turf taco. All 4 tacos were out of this world delicious. If i had to choose just one though, it would easily be the ribeye taco for $4. I want to come back and order a whole bunch of these. The meat is savory and super soft. The surf & turf a close second with shrimp and asada. But, in all honesty everything was delicious and i could easily see myself ordering 5 or 6 street tacos at once. You can refill your drinks and the drink station once you purchase your drink. There are plenty of napkins, straws there as well. The pineapple slices on the street tacos really send this place into the top tier favorite taco spots. I expect to come here more often. If you decide to eat there, there is plenty of seating throughout the establishment. I will definitely be coming back. I am a super fan of The Taco Man. I was very disappointed with my experience. While eating my meal, I found a roach in my food, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health concern. When I brought it to the staff's attention, one employee seemed unbothered by the situation. However, I do want to acknowledge that the manager addressed the issue right away and was apologetic. What was most concerning is that despite finding a roach in a customer's food, the restaurant continued serving food as usual. This raised serious concerns about cleanliness, food safety, and how situations like this are handled. After working with the Catering Team for just a week -- and throwing in my (admittedly last-minute) request for a taqueria -- the team at Taco Man came through beautifully. They arranged a deluxe catering order for pickup at their Glendora location, and wow, did they deliver! We ordered the deluxe package with three meats (carne asada, al pastor, and chicken), rice, beans, tortillas, chips, and three salsas (avocado, verde, and red -- all mild). When my girlfriends and I arrived to pick it up, the staff was already prepared. Everything was ready on a rolling cart (thank goodness), and the team member walked us through each package to ensure it was all accounted for and good to go. I've never had such an organized and thoughtfully prepared catering order. The cilantro and onions were perfectly diced, all cold items (salsas, pineapple chunks, plates, napkins) were neatly packaged, and utensils were separated -- forks, spoons, serving utensils, extra napkins and plates. The hot food came in aluminum trays, piping hot: flavorful meats, fluffy rice, delicious beans, and even prepped, grilled tortillas. The food itself? Incredible. Everything was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meats were a hit, and the beans -- oh my gosh, the beans -- were so good I made sure to save some for myself later. #BeanGirl Huge thanks to Taco Man for such an outstanding and delicious experience. It was good to finally go to this location inside Glendora Public Market. I've driven by here so many times. I was at the owner Israel's Upland location yesterday and I promised him I would go here today! Jenny was great up at the cash register! I ordered a $5 mini chicken burrito for the Glendora Public Market 5 year anniversary. It tasted so good and was a great deal. I also got a free Chorizo taco as I still had a coupon from the Upland grand opening that they honored. I also got the chips & guacamole as well as a Cherry Coke Fountain Drink to wash it all down. I am glad Israel told me about the event. A friend even met me here and we shared food! I would definitely come back to this Taco Man anytime I pass by. Stopped by Taco Man and had a great meal. The burrito was massive and filled with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The beans were surprisingly one of my favorite parts because they tasted so fresh. I also ordered the Tacodilla and did half chicken and half chorizo, which was an awesome combo. I can honestly say it's my new favorite way to eat Mexican food! Lady who made the burrito was friendly, we were able to try all 3 sauces. Green, red, and a pineapple habanero. Burrito was filling, but the onion/cilantro mix was like 75% onion to 25% cilantro and instead of it being closer to a refried bean it was more a soup bean. Which I wasn't a big fan of. I was so impressed with Taco Man in Upland. I wanted to try out their location at Glendora Public Market. Here, I got their 3 baja fish tacos plus one drink special. The baja fish tacos were slightly different than their Upland location. It was more fried here IMHO. Taste was okay. Portions were big. I liked their orange julius drink though. With my Yelp check-in, I got complimentary salsa and chips. Salsa was really good. I ended up buying 3 separate containers of salsa. Chips tasted very homemade. Thank you Taco Man! I really want to give this place a 5 star but I can't. When they first opened at the market place they were amazing. We have been several times. Each time gets worse. Last time we ate there the meat was cold. So we decided to give them a try 1 more time. Guess what? The meat was cold yet again. Cold meat plus cold toppings isn't good. The flavor was good. Yo taco man! Thanks for the good tacos. I came here some months ago. It's in the food hall. I kept it simple. Two asada and one al pastor. All were delicious. Good quality cuts of meat for the asada. It wasn't chewy, tough or fatty. Soft, well seasoned and decent portions. The Al pastor was good too. I also ordered a few other things form different vendors in the hall. But nonetheless the younger female behind girl behind the counter gave terrible attitude for no reason. Nothing special about my chicken burrito. Tonight and also about 6-weeks prior I visited the Taco Man in Glendora. The location is kind of cool being in a food hall but the burrito was disappointing on both occasions. The first time I ate here I assumed it was just a bad night. Gave it second chance tonight and another less than positive experience. I narrowed it down to the most important item on a chicken burrito, the chicken. It tasted burnt with some pieces and tonight had to spit food into my napkin 3 separate times due to bone or something else that was hard, and definitely didn't want to swallow it. Unfortunately a no return to The Taco Man for me. I love Mexican food but I would rather go to Del Taco for a third of the price and in my opinion get something more edible. read more

The lady making my burrito was nice and followed my request of having the beans on the side. After wrapping the burrito it was placed on the grill for that nice char marks but the meat itself was just warm and greasy on the inside. The person in front of me ordered the big dunk. It's a humongous burrito for $22+, it was comped by a lady doing marketing, he's so lucky. Today was the first and last time I buy from The Taco Man at Glendora Public Market. The food is so-so; the nachos are horrible, tasteless, and the meat was cold. But the worst part is the bad attitude of the women working there: they don't pay attention to your order, they give you the wrong food, and then they get upset if you tell them that's not what you ordered. They mock you, literally laugh in your face, and look at you with a defiant attitude. There's a woman named Jenny who is the worst. Here at The Taco Man, for $12 bucks your nachos come heaped with a double layer of meat, beans, cheese, onions, cilantro, guacamole, cabbage, lettuce, and in my case, large slices of pineapple. Lol. I chose al pastor as my meat option, so hence the pineapple slices, but something about having large slices of fruit on your nachos is a little off putting. The mushy nachos were also off putting as well. Pineapples aside, the meat was a little greasy. A little cold. And a lot lacking in flavor. And to top it all off - again with the pineapples which served no purpose. The Taco Man is the only option for Mexican in the Glendora food hall, so if that's what you're in the mood for Mexican food, go for it. The killer taco isn't what it was. It's a lot smaller. The tortilla didn't seem right.
