Decided to stop by here after my wife had told me that she'll never understand why I didn't go back, and give them another try. Well, today was that day. Upon her recommendation, I ordered the chicken taquitos. She was right on. Not only were they great the service was great. I ordered pepino Aqua Fresca to wash it down. It had mint inside it, and it was delicious. The taquitos were not over the top large, but they were generous with their chicken and the guacamole, sour cream, lettuce and cheese ratio was perfect. We ordered an iced coffee, a watermelon slushy, an asada torta, quesabirria, and asada tacos. The establishment was clean, and the service was fast and friendly. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. My favorite, hands down, was the asada torta. It was packed with tender, well-seasoned meat, and the bread was perfectly toasted. I was craving Mexican food and also was looking for a restaurant with a quick service. I stumbled across Taco El Superior and noticed it had a drive thru, so this was an obvious choice to me at the time. After arriving, it had a short line in the drive thru before I could order. This was at around 7:00 pm. I ordered the al pastor burrito with everything on it. This dish didn't taste overwhelming but it also felt like it was missing something. So I'd consider it a 3/5. Perhaps it could have used a bit more pineapple, since there was only a couple of slices. The green sauce was also a decent addition. For the Quesabirria, it was definitely a very salty dish. The meat was tender and it had a lot of cheese. This was a 4/5. Despite having a drive-thru, it did take 15 minutes before I could get my order. I was waiting at one of the parking lanes. It looks like they have an option to order online, so that might be my best recommendation to save time. This spot accepts American Express. read more

Nachos this bare should be illegal...not enough cheese. So many chips without anything on them! You can't even call these nachos...this is tortilla chips and meat with onion and cilantro on top. So disappointed with service and food. This is usually a great spot for a bean and cheese burrito. I ordered the regular not the mini and this is what I got tonight. What is this? Also, was a pick up order so fairly simple. The 4 people working could barely look up to say hi and took them a minute or two to say they'd be right with me. Had to just say I was there for a pick up order. I feel as soon as we started seeing those kiosk and more of a franchise feel, which it is. But it felt local before and quality was better. Unfortunately today was not the greatest experience. After a 13 hour shift, I thought tacos for dinner. This is literally the only place I buy tacos from. I place my order and the girl was laughing and talking the entire time. Then Jose Z. Charges me the wrong order. Then takes my order because the first order never got rung in. I am a GM. I know guest service, I know things happen but rude service after they messed up not once but twice is ridiculous. You guys take a long time to service drive through and we come back because its good. But with employees laughing and ignoring you then get mad because you question why are they charging you the wrong things and then cant give u a voided credit card receipt is not good business. read more

This is my go to California burrito spot, their fries stay crispy and their al pastor is so flavorful and moist. I'm here probably once a month and have never had a bad experience flavor wise. The salsa roja is SPICY. Their drinks are excellent too, especially the piña fresca, and they do special seasonal drinks that I always enjoy. Other reviews say the tacos are greasy but I haven't had that problem. Service is sub par at best. I usually have a decent experience but I always order "no cilantro or raw onion" and maybe 50% of the time they put it in anyway. There was also one time I was there on a Thursday when all drinks are 50% off. I was initially charged full price for 2 drinks, and when I said something about it all of the employees working were confused and said they didn't know about that deal. I pointed to the advertisement on the wall of the business and said that's always been their Thursday deal. The employee working the register put in the computer buy one get one 50% off, and could not understand that that is 25% off not 50% off each drink. The manager ended up coming and just giving me cash back for the overcharge. The employees are nice, but they truggle with basic skills and could probably use more training. read more

Came here today for the value meal for $6 and was told they only do it when it's ordered ONLINE now..... That's dumb as hell! That whole menu and that one item can only be ordered online. They asked me when my " estimated time" that my order would say it would be ready ( it was 6:57 and the "estimated time" was 7:15) I was then told I'd have to wait till that time to get my food. Like be so for real right now lol. I was the only one in the drive thru and probably 1 of like 3 people at the restaurant all together, WHY do I need to wait 20 minutes? Seems like they want to make it difficult to order so people stop getting it. Why not just stop doing it? Take it off the menu. Makes no damn sense. Got the order and they half ass made it.
