You can see how far the mayo was. More than half way
    Elizabeth L.

Food is always good but I'm very disappointed at their "esquite" that cup was full of mayo. Really disgusting. Maybe if you don't know how to serve it, you shouldn't be selling it. This was a cup full of mayo with some corn. I'm really disgusted Should be called mayonnaise with corn. They used to be quick, now they take forever. Didn't asked for anything special but a birria plate and it was more than 20 min wait.

    Worst Breakfast Burrito ever

Would leave a 0 star if I could. Had to wait over 35 minutes for a breakfast burrito.. the burrito had like 4 small pieces of sausage, most of it was soggy shredded potatoes with no flavor.

Normally I'm satisfied by the food here, but this time was gross, the meat was not edible. I understand consome is made with fat, but all I got were 2 large lards instead of any meat

this meal was super delicious. i had the regular quesataco and i like how the edge of the taco was slightly crunchy. i dipped it in the consume and the flavors blended very well together. i also shared the brirria plate. this meal was the most value for price! i will say it is on the saltier side. the food came out fairly quick. this food truck sits in a huge parking lot. there's plenty of seating under a cover as well

    Ramen Birria was ok.

Probably the best birria tacos in town! My favorite here are the quesotacos because they have cheese in them! Honestly everything on their menu dipped in the consume is delicious. Make sure you get a large consume cause any left overs you don't dip your tacos with, you can just drink it like a soup! The meat is cooked perfectly with the right amount of spice. Definitely one of my favorite taco places in town.

Queso Tacos!!!! These are probably what your seeing around with people dipping it into a red sauce. So Tacos we're great! Kinda greasy but yummy to my tummy. If you don't know what a Queso Taco is it's just like it sounds. Quesadilla meets Taco and Bam now the are married. Lol Jk but so delicious. The dipping sauce is good but sold separately. So make sure you ask for the Console Sauce. I'm sure I spelled that! It's delicious and full of flavor! Yum yum! A must try!

Been a huge fan of Birrieria PDX for well over a year now. I think I visited their first location within the first two weeks of their opening and raved about it to all my friends, family, and coworkers and managed to convince a lot of them to come. The new location is much much much closer to my house and is in a more accessible spot...along 82nd and Foster and not far from I-205. On this day there was no one in line at dinner time and only 4 people sitting at their tables. Unheard of at their original location where I've waited 40 mins in the winter before. Pro tip - get anything with cheese. Quesataco, keto taco, vampiro, etc. the fried and crisp cheese adds some killer umami and shouldn't be missed. The combo platter is a steal on the weekends. All in all...food tasted fantastic. Everything tasted the exact same minus the long wait and long drive. Will be a regular for years to come.

zero stars very rude cashier. Didn't want to answer questions about things on the menu. Asked for no cheese waited 20mins...guess what everything came with cheese She asked the white lady ahead of me to leave a 5 review on google to get a free taco Then I walked up, she didn't mention the freebie at all. So I asked for a refund and no apologies for getting my order wrong, took 3mins for her to discuss why I didn't want it to the cooks, then tried to short change me $.25 because she didn't want to break open a roll of quarters. Never again

    Street tacos!! Sooo good!

Amazing and flavorful street tacos and consommé. I travel quite a distance to eat here! Yummm! My mouth is watering just thinking about this food.

    Frances L.

Great birria I've become a fan of the nachos here they add a twist to the birria that other carts don't have. Unlike other birria carts the consommé is not included with your taco order. Has lots of seating and parking in the top to bottom lot. Worth the stop when in the area.

Both the fish and the prawns were cooked in a red sauce that was delicious! I meant to ask for blue corn tortillas but was so excited to find shrimp & fish tacos that weren't deep-fried that I forgot to ask for them. The regular corn tortillas were excellent, though, so it was not a bad mistake to make. I also had jamaica to drink and let me tell you... it was not made from a mix! It was dark, thirst-quenching, and perfectly made. Most jamaica is super sweet - this was not! I love the flavor of real hibiscus and this did not disappoint. My friends had chile relleno bowls and birria tacos, all of which was excellent. Their watermelon margaritas were tasty and refreshing! Our orders were taken by a helpful person at the cash register and the food was served quickly by a friendly server. The inside and outside areas were clean and tidy, with plenty of seating available at the outside tables. The outdoor seating area is under cover making it a good choice for both summer & winter dining. Definitely going on my "have to go back and try something else" list!

Such a small detail that makes a big difference. The Citrus Salad was super fresh, crisp, and delicious, which balanced everything out perfectly. I also tried the NA classic margarita and it was so refreshing. I loved the subtle touch of orange juice. Overall, such a lovely spot with amazing food, great vibes, and thoughtful details. I tried their course menu, and every dish was presented with such care and beauty. What I especially appreciated was how each dish was bursting with flavor without being overly salty or sweet -- something that's surprisingly hard to find at restaurants. For the amount of food and the overall experience, I thought it was a great way to experience the restaurant. Ángel took care of us and made the meal even more memorable by telling us the story and inspiration behind each dish as it came out. It made the tasting feel like much more than just trying a bunch of different dishes. I'm definitely a carnivore and usually feel like a meal needs some kind of meat, but surprisingly, my favorite dish was the mole with eggplant and rice. The mole was delicious, and I genuinely didn't miss having meat on the plate. I would happily order that dish again exactly as it was. The tomates en salsa arabe were another standout. I really enjoyed how fresh the dish tasted, especially with the seasonal tomatoes they were using. I also had the carnitas tacos, which had great flavor and texture. For dessert, we had what was essentially a fried concha, and I loved that it wasn't overly sweet. It had just the right amount of sweetness for me and was a great way to finish the meal. Overall, I highly recommend doing the full tasting menu at República. For around $40 per person, you get to experience the entire menu, and if you're lucky enough to have Ángel there to walk you through the stories and concepts behind the dishes, it makes the experience that much better.
