Very good Indian takeout. The menu was a little different than I'm used to seeing, but everything was excellent. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because we got back to the hotel and realized there wasn't any utensils in the bag, so we had to go searching for forks and knives before we could eat. Great casual place for tasty indian food. I love the indian Thaili lunch special, (weekdays T-F only I think, they are closed Monday) where you get a generous tray with a variety of either Vegetarian or Meat-based dishes, including Naan, curries, pakora, rice/biriyani and a dessert. One gets to try new things every time and they are always very tasty. A nice alternative to the buffet, as everything on your plate it super fresh. I also have ordered dinner from them via Uber Eats, the Palak Paneer is a favorite! And if you love the hot spice like I do, I recommend the Cut Mirchi. But don't worry if you don't care for hot food they are accommodating to all levels of spice preference. The staff is very friendly and I like that they are attentive to make sure your water glass is full and that you are enjoying your meal. I understand they now serve Indian Breakfast, which I am looking forward to trying. Also, a bonus that there is an Indian grocery next door. I am so glad this new restaurant brings authentic Indian cuisine to west side of cleveland. Have tried their biryani, chilli chicken, chicken 65, bhindi masala, malai kofta, tandoori chicken and boy oh boy, never have I been disappointed! Fantastic Indian spot. My wife got the chicken Tikka Masala and it was the table winner. She knows her Indian food and loved it. I ordered the vegetarian Thali because I wanted to try a bunch of differing things. It was great. Always get the garlic Naan! Staff was great. Restaurant was clean. (I live in Westlake, who knows why Yelp thinks I live in CA) After many visits I have given up on them. Order mild? Get mild. Next week, order mild? Get spicy. The Gobi Manchurian is sometimes mushy, sometimes crispy. They got rid of my favorite dessert, which they only had available sporadically anyway. Last night both appetizers were insanely salty. Plus, I requested 'no onions' on both and guess what? The Gobi's onion was at least in big chunks I could easily pick it out but I spent 15 minutes trying to de-onion my crispy masala corn, with poor result. There was a full 1/8th cup finely chopped, mostly uncooked onion in it! 1/8th! Maybe someone doesn't like that I didn't tip the 15% or higher fee they wanted. 15%! Why should I tip anyway when I order from their site and pickup myself? I guess the $2 I added out of guilt wasn't enough to ensure they skipped the onion. Sorry guys, I've now given up on you. We hit this restaurant on our way to Washington. The food was too delicious. It was too good that in our entire trip, whenever we would go for other restaurants, we would always bring up comparison with Biryani Hut and end up not liking whatever we were having. Good and professional service, not sure why it took an hour to prepare my take-out though, maybe they were just busy but I thought that was strange, I never waited that long for take-out before. I really wasn't impressed with the curry. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the chicken korma, the flavors weren't really of any Indian curry I have tasted before. The tikka masala was overly sweet it tasted like a dessert, and even though I specified my orders to be spicy it wasn't really spicy, I know sometimes places will dumb it down for Americans so I always specify. I also got the garlic naan and was pretty average. Perhaps because I got take-out it wasn't as good. I hope to give this place another try because there's lots of good reviews on here! read more

This place disappoints every time , mushy biryani and chicken had a lot of fat. I ordered large raita got three small 2oz containers and the huge onions take up most of the volume so no yogurt, plus was over charged based on what there prices were online we complained and they were so nasty about it not good people skills and didn't care. I almost Uber eats delivered but wanted to save money so I picked up and ended up coming to the same price if I would have got it delivered. I am so happy there is a delish Indian restaurant on the West side. I work on the East side and Choolaah has my heart out there but live on the west side so I was happy to try BiryaniHut Express. I got the Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan. The Naan was amazing.. the spice was perfect and flavored to the 9's. The chicken had really good flavor as well. This place is pretty good. The portions are very generous and everything tastes homemade and is VERY well spiced. I had the vegetable dum biryani, which came with an egg, the corn appetizer, and the gobi manchurian. Everything was delicious. I picked it up to take home, so now sure how the service is, but they looked pretty busy and got everything out on time. I try to wait and have a place a few times before I make a review just to make sure one bad or good meal doesn't skew my judgement. My wife and I have had this place about 9-10 times and I would say the first 6 times were all great. We had tried multiple things including the butter chicken, kadai chicken, tikka Marsala, veg curry, and navaranta kurma and a few others and were never disappointed. Each dish was unique and exploded with unique flavors that I have had a hard time finding at other Indian restaurants in the area. About 2 months ago, something changed. Our orders were the same as we would usually get and each time the dishes would be different and less flavorful. The veg curry tasted more just like cream and the kadai chicken lacked any veggies and was all salt and oil. The butter chicken also lost a lot of its flavor and was mostly cream. It's sad because I truly liked this place and it was becoming a go to place for us, but they are extremely inconsistent and have lost quality in their food. I stopped in here for lunch yesterday with a buddy. He got the vegetarian lunch special while I had the Butter Chicken and some garlic naan. We also split the veggie Samosas. I must say it was the best I've had in the area. I could taste all the spices and am dying to go back! Then lunch special was HUGE and was well worth it according to my friend. The Samosas were a little overcooked on the outside but the inside was super delicious!!! I am surely recommending this to anyone!!! read more
