Once again, everything was delicious! I really enjoyed my Chick and Ditch the Waffle (crispy chicken and the unique biscuit "waffle") and my Orange Creamsicle (love that it was made with Jarritos soda! Yum!). We both enjoyed the Loaded Tots - so unique having the "loaded" part in the tots! And, the dipping sauce is a nice, tasty, sweet addition for sure! Staff are always pleasant and helpful. Constantly running around working and engaging with costumers. My friend loves their sausage and biscuits, too! Such a cutely decorated brunch spot with plenty of seating. In the area? I arrived here around 10:10am on a Saturday morning after finishing a cruise. This was my first time visiting the brand. You must order at the counter and someone will bring your food to you. There were so many options, I couldn't decide. I got short stack with blueberry pancakes and my kid got pancakes and breakfast potatoes. We ordered at 10:24am and received food about 10 mins later. My bacon was perfectly crispy, just like I enjoy. In the middle of eating, my son told me: "It's a really good place; I want to come back here" and "I'll give it a 5 out of 5". I agree with him! A huge plus is that staff regularly walk around to check in to ask how the food was and if we needed anything. The customer service was amazing!!
Biscuit Belly was phenomenal! The staff was friendly and efficient. I loved how clean the table area was. Everything was stocked, silverware and napkins. I ordered the fried green tomatoes. Yum!!!! And the biscuits and gravy had a nice flavor that was delicious. It was a more darker gravy than I'm used to. It had the perfect seasoning. I liked it a lot! I'm definitely going back to Biscuit Belly !
Biscuit Belly is a dine in restaurant where you wait on line to order your food then you choose a table to sit at. It's a casual setting open space with high ceilings. The food was decent as it hit the spot. The chicken n ditch the waffle was delicious with Mikes hot honey. Babes Brekkie Bowl was tasty as well. Definitely a spot to try to get a quick bite to eat.
First time at this chain restaurant. I've had my eye on them with friends providing above average reviews. However, my visit overall fell on the average side and I would likely not return anytime soon. The location is in a newly developed warehouse area. Biscuit Belly has been present for over a year, but a new development behind their old building is being completed. Signage is pretty good from Hampton Blvd, but it's a small sign, so be ready to turn. Parking is spacious nearby parallel and in a lot for nearby businesses. It's short walk. The area was clear of debris. I saw no security and felt safe. In my opinion the cool factor is the building itself which is maybe a 30's, or 40's factory warehouse type structure. A significant investment by the chain to make this a really neat place to enjoy breakfast and brunch. They close early afternoon. The interior's all brick exterior walls and concrete floors with open air ceiling gave me that cool vibe I absolutely loved! There large windows along the road that will wake you up and provide a bright space. My visit was on a weekday mid morning and there was only two customers. It's a pretty spacious dining room with mixture of booths and tables. There is also outdoor dining on the side. Restrooms are on the far side of the entrance and gender neutral single use. I found them spacious, clean with proper supplies. Prior to ordering from the walk up they offer a small amount of merchandise and also menus for catering. Menus are present at the counter to review. It's extensive! They offer a lot including cocktails. I jumped on Rockwell and added bacon to compare it to a local place I love "Handsome Biscuit. Biscuit Belly's is a biscuit and gravy. The staff were warm and friendly at checkout. I also included a bottomless drip coffee and they hand you a mug. The total $19.01 w/ tax and an opportunity to tip. They do bring your food out and clear, but no follow up is expected. They give you a number to locate the table. The drink station has fountain soda, coffee with cream and sugar. The area was clean. The coffee was very good! I waited no longer than 10 minutes for my food to arrive and visually it looked fine. Napkins and utensils are in the table which I really liked. My first impression after closely inspecting the sandwich was the bacon was paper thin and less quality than I would have thought given the price point. The biscuit seemed underdone, the gravy tasty. The overall a 2. Although I may not return myself I acknowledge people seem to adore Biscuit Belly's and write above average reviews also returning. I'm at a 3.5 and rounding down for my first experience. For me I would drive less than a mile for a much scaled down and quality Handsome Biscuit.
Beautifully decorated, clean and peaceful atmosphere. Decided to try this place today for breakfast, great choice! I ordered the go-getta which included two biscuits and gravy very filling and flavorful. My son ordered the Frenchie. He was also full when finished and said it was so delicious. Order a side of fried green tomatoes, and they did not disappoint. The service was fast and I liked that they weren't blaring loud music. Just peaceful breakfast with perfect amount of natural lighting. We will be back!
This place was the only "must eat at again" spot on our list for our vacation in the area. The biscuits are an addictive level of good. It is a bit pricey but well worth it. I had the "Gravy Train" which is my favorite thing there. It has 3 gravies and tiny biscuits to dunk them in. I also had a Brisket Benedict and the variety of explosive flavors provided an amazing dining experience. I will return to this place every time we are in the area. Please build one in Martinsburg!! Or maybe don't... I would get very fat.
This place is so cute, the vibe is just right for a summer brunch stop! The service was good, everyone was pleasant with a smile & willingly to help at any moment. The food- from what was had, was great! The presentation was impeccable. If you scan the bar code on the menu you're treated to basically small biscuit bites that are sweetened and complimented with a nice berry jam and cream frosting! The biscuits were good, fluffy & filling! The portions are generous & I can't wait to come back to try some more menu items!

My husband and I just moved to Norfolk and this was the best place to continue our Saturday breakfast tradition! When you walk in, there is a window showing a worker making the biscuits by hand, then you order at the counter and take a number to your seat. I got the gravy train and breakfast sausage, and my husband got the GOAT. These biscuits are the FLAKIEST biscuits I've ever had in my life. They were so good! 3 gravies come with the gravy train: sausage, mushroom, and Gouda. The original sausage gravy is a very solid traditional gravy, lots of flavor. The mushroom gravy is delicious, very mushroomy, but creamy and rich! The Gouda gravy was almost like a fondue or beer cheese consistency, but it worked so well with the biscuits. Also, the breakfast sausage was perfectly juicy and flavorful! I tried a bite of the GOAT and was very impressed, the pepper jelly and goat cheese work so well with the buttermilk fried chicken and (literally best ever) biscuits. The vibe is casual, and service was fairly quick. Highly recommend this place for breakfast/brunch! We'll be back very soon!

The cashier and server Jack were so energetic and welcoming that I wanted to buy more food to eat! The biscuit's are made in house. I like to consider myself a biscuits and gravy connoisseur, and I would have NEVER gotten a mushroom gravy option. Let me tell you that I would have been missing out on the best flavor I think I have enjoyed when it comes to biscuits and gravy. You have to try it for yourself! We will definitely be coming back!!!

A nice, bright and airy restaurant with a a nice decor. There is a Norfolk mural on the wall and cute brunch pillows at one of the banquet seating areas. Upon entering, you will grab a menu and then follow the path to place your order at the counter. On your way, you will pass the viewing window where you can watch someone making biscuits. You will be given a wooden number to take your table and then food is brought out to you. Our food arrived very fast and looked just as advertised. It was plentiful and flavorful. As a first timer, this was a solid breakfast experience. We ordered our food and as we were trying to find a table, we saw most of them were dirty. We claimed a dirty table then an employee came by to say he'd get some help to clean the table. He came back to clean the table but his help never came. It's not a good look to have one employee cleaning when several parties were waiting for tables but we weren't in a rush so it didn't bother me too much. We got our drinks fairly quickly and they were great! We got through about half of them before the food showed. For $70 (food + 10 tip), it was pretty good. The biscuit was a good balance of soft and "sturdy". The pancakes corndogs and seasonal fruit were good. I enjoyed the loaded tots but expected to get way more than 4. my date seemed fairly pleased with her food despite not eating it all. I'd probably go back. read more

This was my family's first time visiting, and it completely exceeded our expectations! It's not your typical sit-down restaurant, you order at the counter, pay, and then choose your own seat, which made everything quick and easy. My fiancé and I ordered the Mama's Boys, while our two sons enjoyed the corn dog and fries. Every bite was delicious! We also shared the loaded breakfast tots, and they were incredible, crispy, flavorful, and the perfect addition to our meal. The Praline Mocha iced coffee was absolutely to die for, and our boys loved their Cinnamon Mocha and Chai Latte. They couldn't stop talking about how good they were. I would like to preface this review with mentioning that this was a Door Dash meal, I did not dine at this restaurant. With that being said, based on my delivered lunch I will be checking them out in person. Ordered the Mean Green BLT and it was delicious. I don't normally eat tomatoes but this dish has fried green tomatoes in it, had to try it. Totally worth the repercussions of eating something I'm allergic to. The dish comes with a side, decided on grits but didn't care for them. I think the grits may have been better if I ordered earlier in the day. Also added the loaded tots to the order, probably won't order them again. Curious to try something from their breakfast menu. Definitely going to pay them a visit. read more

I truly loved my visit here. I am a biscuit lover and they made me love them even more. I enjoyed being able to watch them. Roll out the biscuits. The customer service is top quality. They are super friendly and very very accommodating. The decor is super cute. My biscuit was flaky buttery. I never knew that meat would pear that Will with a homemade biscuit. I'm normally not a biscuit and meat girly. But this took the cake. I also like their donut holes. They were not too sweet just the perfect of compliment to the meal. We ended up signing up for the points program while doing so the employee who helped us was extremely helpful and even gave us recommendations when we were unsure. This place is located not too far from ODU. Located in a new shopping plaza, this restaurant makes for the perfect breakfast spot for the college students + locals! I ordered the regular chicken biscuit with homemade potatoes, the house ranch, and the cinnamocha drink. My biscuit was okay, not too much flavor, I'll try a more elaborate biscuit next time. But that homemade ranch and cinnamocha 10/10!! I know it's weird to rate the condiment and drink but tbh those were the two best things on my plate! I did taste my cousins pickle (he advised me to order something with pickles but I didn't listen) SMH, whatever you do, ORDER SOMETHING WITH PICKLES! The pickles were amazing!! Quick order and a bit of a wait. But having a good large cup of coffee makes it palatable. The menu is intimidating at first. So I wish my fellow Yelpers would have had some suggestions. So for our order today we ordered a Love Shack , Basic Biscuit with Egg and an order of Bonuts. Okay so the Biscuits are just good. The sausage and egg with the biscuit very good. The dinning room is large and can be a bit crowded but ambiance is good and bright. The reason for 1 star deduction is I asked for a receipt and did not receive one , too bad first two minutes in and you loose a star! I would return and recommend Biscuit Belly. read more

I was excited try this new breakfast place and was not disappointed! You walk in, grab a menu, and wait in line to order at the counter. All the decor is super cute, and the line went quickly considering it was peak brunch time on a weekend! We got the loaded breakfast tots, the Nashville hot chicken (called Fire in your Belly) , and the Rockwell chicken biscuit sandwich. All were so flavorful without being heavy! The chicken and the tots had a perfect fry, the sausage gravy was some of the best I've ever had, and the Nashville hot chicken had a really solid kick truthful to its namesake. First time here and def will be back. We came on a Sunday so it was a little busy but we were able to find a table after placing our order. Wait wasn't long at all. We got the GOAT, the Rockwell supreme, and a side of bacon cheddar bites and fried green tomatoes. The flavors on the GOAT paired really well with each other. I found the biscuit itself to be a little sweet (maybe it was from the pepper jelly which there was A LOT of). The Rockwell was good on all fronts. The bacon cheddar bites were 10/10 and the fried green tomatoes were also really good but breading didn't stick as much as I'd like it. The place itself was really cute, lots of outdoor lighting and they have outdoor seating as well. Overall will be back again! read more
