The chicken BLT club biscuit is my favorite! It's huge and the price is just right! The tomatoes and the lettuce are always fresh! It comes with pickles, mayonnaise. The lady at the drive thru is super sweet. I enjoy one of these once a week .

I frequent this location a few times a week and it's hit and miss. The building is not much for looks but the tenderloin biscuits here are usually always pretty good. I always use the drive-thru here so I can't say much about the inside of this location. Drive-thru is usually always busy no matter what day of the week it is . However they move quickly and I never spend a lot of time waiting. If you are expecting to be greeted at the window with a friendly smile it's probably not going to happen. Sometimes the lady who usually runs the drive thru can be down right rude but my order is always right so I move right along . If you are in Asheboro and want a good biscuit swing thru here and get one. The chicken and tenderloin biscuits are my personal favorites. Don't let the busy drive thru scare you away they will get you in and out quickly.

Have been buying food there for years and this past couple of months has been the absolute worst!... from getting food that wasn't fixed right to food being cold to the picture of this mess here the sausage is smaller than the biscut...Don't belive I'll give my business anymore

Flies flying around. Windows are full of dead flies and at the same time they had two guys sweeping the floor. Even after they finished, the floors are dirty! Actually on closer inspection the floor looks like it has never been mopped. The Biscuit storage that is visible right behind the counter has lots a old finger prints. Ac unit has duck tape. Nothing for non meat eaters. Hash browns are so oily it took two napkins to dry out one.

Stopped into The Biscuit Company before heading to the zoo after doing a search of places for breakfast in the area. This is a nice little quaint place that wasn't too far from the zoo. Inside, it's average size with places to sit. It was a little busy but wait time wasn't bad at all. We were able to find a table to sit at and enjoy our biscuits. Their biscuits are freshly made and you can tell because they are so perfectly soft and flaky.

After all of the stellar Yelp reviews, I was excited to get off the highway and try this place on my way to the beach. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed. The Biscuit Company was just average to me and nothing to write home about. The Biscuit Company is quick, cheap, and efficient. It is definitely a good option if you are cruising through Asheboro on your way to the beach. It is right off of the highway and very easy to get to. You could stop in here for lunch, eat in, and still be back on the highway within 15-20 minutes. The place is rundown on the inside and the bathrooms are in disrepair. Looks like it hasn't been spruced up in years. That is pretty standard for a small little fast food joint like this, and it is fine as long as the food is good. That was just not the case for me here. I don't know if they were just having an off day or what. I ordered a tenderloin biscuit with egg and cheese and a side of hash browns. The biscuit looked awesome and, as mentioned in other reviews, it was huge. But it did not live up to its made-from-scratch reputation. Tasted like it was frozen at some point. It was not flaky at all. The tenderloin on the biscuit was good. It was a little chewy, but that is kind of to be expected with tenderloin. Overall the biscuit was just okay. The hash browns were like the kind you would find at Hardees, small, round, and bite size. The portion of these was not impressive and they were a little soggy. The sweet tea here was good and sweet. I also tried a bite of the fried bologna biscuit and that was good. The food here is just average in my opinion. The best part about the Biscuit Company is how quick the service is and how cheap it is. We got two fully loaded biscuits, a side of hash browns, and 2 drinks for about $10. The service is quick and painless. Not much in the way of hospitality, but again they are efficient. I may stop back by the Biscuit Company if I want to just hop off the highway for a quick bite, but I definitely won't be making a special trip to Asheboro.

Tenderloin, Egg & Cheese Biscuit: The Biscuit Company - Asheboro NC

Ohhhh Man!!! You know when I'm in Asheboro I'm gonna be rollin' up to The Biscuit Company. Hadn't been here in a long time since I seldom get to Asheboro. A great place to get a big ol' scratch made biscuit. They do burgers also, but I've never had one from here because the biscuits are the main event to me. Doesn't matter what you get on it, it'll be awesome, I'm kinda partial to the tenderloin or ham,egg & cheese. This place looks like 1960 on the inside & out, a little brown & orange building on the corner of an intersection, but I'm not here for the decorations, just an outstanding biscuit. Set up like a fast food place, the parking lot is small & cramped, if there's 2 cars at the drive-thru, the 3rd car will be sittin in the side street that runs beside The Biscuit Co...so you'll more than likely be sittin in the street since business is usually boomin'. There's 2 other locations for The Biscuit Co. also, one up the road a piece in Randleman & one in Ramseur. I've been to one in Randleman the most & it's just as good with a little more space, I never been to one in Ramseur. Great place for breakfast if you are in the area.

My friend ordered the breakfast burrito, it was huge! For a side she had the sweet potato tots. She let me steal a bite of both and yum! I opted for the Hot Honey Chicken with Pimento Benedict and wow! I was nervous the pimento cheese would be overpowering, but it wasn't at all! It was a nice, creamy complement to the spicy crispy chicken. The hollandaise cut through some of the richness for a pleasant mellower. Prices are reasonable and our waitress was great! The restaurant is larger than it looks but it does get quite crowded. Can't wait to come back here!

This is a solid restaurant with much to offer in the brunch/breakfast area - an area that has become popular and chic, and it almost always means much will be expensive, usual very expensive considering the less than costly menu ingredients that drive food choices here, and other such brunch spots. Brunch is seen as more than just a meal for some folks who are all into what is trendy, and restaurant are aware of this and prices are raised due to the "experience" element! I have tried several items here including their version of Huevos Rancheros (not a fan of how they make it, pulled pork is a party foul), the Eggs Benedict (decent but over priced for sure, $17 with bacon added), and several Omelette choices, can reach $15. This is obviously a popular spot in downtown Winston, but I find it generally overpriced, loud, and the service is inconsistent. I like a good adventure, but somethings simply are not worth the cost! Note that the prices for individual items are written, very lightly with no $ sign to the right of the item. This is done intentionally to make the customer pay less attention to what they spending. Many restaurants are using some form of this approach!

On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. It closed in early February for what were supposed to be renovations, only to reopen months later with a new name and a new concept, trading slightly upscale Southern for more upscale Italian. In some regards, this makes sense - it fills a void created by the closure of Lulu and Blu - but in other ways, it's a massive gamble. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it also made us miss Magnolia. The higher price point is the chief culprit. Otto and Blue offers pastas in the $20s and entrees starting in the $30s, bread and olive oil not included. While we were celebrating an occasion that merited such a splurge, it's hard to imagine the restaurant remaining competitive at those prices once the sheen of newness wears off. Look past that, however, and Otto and Blue shines in both ambiance and service. It's classy without being stuffy, and the dark turquoise tones suit it well. Allison, a Magnolia Blue mainstay, was personable and attentive and provided excellent service throughout the meal. Otto and Blue's menu offers apps, salads, pastas, and entrees. It's predominantly Italian albeit with a few options for the steak-and-potatoes crowd. The dishes range from recognizably classic (rigatoni Bolognese) to conspicuously elevated (halibut piccatta). After mulling over several offerings, we went with the bread service, tagliatelle, and duck cacciatore. The food ranged from fairly good to outstanding. While $9 for bread is a tough pill to swallow, they executed it as well as they possibly could have: a hot, fresh ciabatta with tasty herb butter, olive relish, and a quality olive oil-balsamic combo as accompaniments. The cacciatore boasted a pair of duck legs confit, and while I'm usually no fan of dark meat poultry, these were prepared well with crispy skin and plenty of meat. For a typically hearty dish, the sauce seemed light (and a bit subdued), but that could be a consequence of serving atop polenta (more absorbent) rather than pasta. Speaking of pastas and sauces, the tagliatelle hit a nice balance of creamy and zesty without swimming in its white wine lemon sauce. Surprisingly, the highlight of the meal ended up being the dessert that Otto and Blue kindly offered as an anniversary gift. A scoop of vanilla bean gelato came adorned with a Biscoff cookie, a drizzle of olive oil, and a dash of salt. If salt and especially olive oil on ice cream seem vaguely blasphemous, don't knock it until you try it. Each bite was thoroughly delicious. It's a given that good food doesn't come cheap, but even so, Otto and Blue has no margin for error to justify what it charges. On food alone, it was close but not quite there. However, the overall experience made it worthwhile, and I have no regrets about dining here.
