    Turkey Club
    Tia J.

I suppose I should have stuck with a breakfast meal at Biscuits. I asked our server about sandwiches on the menu and she claimed they were really good. She was wrong. We stopped in during lunch hour and decided to try a turkey club and chicken biscuit sliders for our meals. We also ordered the bacon flight to try their bacon assortment. The turkey club is terrible. I'm not sure how a sandwich with turkey, bacon, cheese and avocado on it can be so flavorless. I didn't see any mayo or anything else added to it to give it any extra help. It fell apart from the first bite and just got worse from there. I ate about 1/3 of just half the sandwich. The chicken sliders weren't much better. Served with hollandaise sauce was its only plus that gave it some flavor. The bacon flight was a big disappointment too. $10 for 4 medium pieces of bacon served on a board. Don't bother ordering it. When we received our bill I looked it over, they already have higher prices for less than high quality food but I noticed they're also adding on their business CAT tax to every bill. They're charging it as a percentage, similar to a sales tax. The restaurant itself is similar to every other Biscuits Cafe. Decorated with cute home style decor and seemingly clean. We won't be back to dine at Biscuits. Between the high prices for disappointing food and taxes added on it's just not worth it.

Went and got breakfast and had the meat lovers loaded hashbrowns and it was really delicious. It was topped with a drizzle of chipotle sauce and a dollop of sour cream and I got their biscuits on the side. The employees there were really nice and attentive. The ambience was great.

Pico-Avo Toast OO with gluten free bread

Was ok, not great. I'm gluten free and was told the hash brown and red potatoes were not gluten free. I ended up with the pico-avocado toast on gluten free bread with sunnyside up eggs. They do offer gluten free waffles but I wasn't in the mood for anything sweet. Wasn't anything special but I did not get sick so that was a plus. Server was very nice. Nice outdoor seating area. My friend got the lemon drop flight that tasted like Kool-aid. She like her chicken fried steak.

I did I pickup order. I order two breakfast items both were supposed to have side of red potatoes that they charge me for. Only one of my items came with potatoes. I was missing the red potatoes on one. I called the store but nobody answered.

Today's experience was not great. Had already started a bit iffy with the servers dry attitude since seating us. But since she was the only one working . I brushed it off. But once we got our food , got to eating , my partner found a hair in his food. We let her know , and all she said was " okayyy..?" Straight face. No sort of apology or anything. I asked for some sort of discount , really would've been fine with some sort of sympathetic acknowledgement .. probably will not be back. Also maybe move the trash bins where you empty the plates into away from the area that you pay .. looks so unsanitary.

Pick 3 - bacon, hash brown, almond fresh toast

A classic breakfast spot that I've been going to for years. Service is a little slow but I went on a Sunday morning. The almond French toast was AMAZING. Other than that, everything else was pretty standard for breakfast food. My friend did ask for her bacon extra crispy and it was not crispy at all so that was disappointing.

Love this location! The portions are great and friendly staff! We got the two for $25 BYOB with two cups of coffee. Great value!

We came around 11am on a Friday. The place didn't look too busy but the service was awfully slow. It took them awhile to get our order and then the food came out lukewarm. When asking for refills, the server said he would but then he circled around for about 15 mins before our refill came. By that time we were already leaving. We were trying to find some good breakfast but this definitely did not satisfy our cravings.

After getting sat down, we just... waited. For about 10-15 minutes, nobody showed up. Eventually a server came and took our order in a very disinterested fashion. We ordered a cocktail, the bruschetta appetizer, and then a burger, the king salmon and a plate of chicken pasta in white sauce for the little one. Everything took forever to come out (even the drink), nobody came out to check or refill waters in the 90 minutes we were there. Cocktail (Spring Break) - 5/5 great! Bruschetta - 3/5. Generally good but the bread was carbonized and as hard as a rock. Burger + fries - 3/5. Burger looked sad but was actually pretty tasty, if a little overcooked. Fries looked great (hand cut) but upon us closer inspection in the low light, you could see they were 50% those tiny peel pieces that get burned when frying. Guys! You are supposed to take those pieces out! Salmon - 3/5. Kind of... fine. A little fishy, not really what i expect for King salmon. Chicken pasta for toddler - 4/5. Actually this was delicious (if a bit overcooked) and it will my leftover lunch (toddler didn't eat it but that isn't the pasta's fault). Total bill for everyone, with tip: $126 So pretty mediocre food, downright bad service, and premium pricing. It's a pass from me!

Parking gets a little crazy on a busy friday night as the lot fills up fast. The brunch menu sounds good so I will have to visit again!

The menu was really interesting - a sushi section which was a fusion of Mexican/American/Japanese, but I was most drawn to their entree favorites. I went with the Carne en su Jugo - our lovely waitress me narrow that down. Their chips and salsa were delicious - the salsa is mild and the chips were perfectly seasoned - love a salty chip. The dish came with handmade corn tortillas which were thick and yummy. The steak was cooked in a salsa verde kind of sauce with crispy crumbled bacon on top, beans and rice. The beef was so tender and delicious! It definitely had some heat to it that builds up. There was a lot of sauce - which actually worked out nicely because I ended up taking home the leftovers, adding some veggies and broth and made a soup out of it! I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu as this experience was pretty top notch.

This spot offers an unexpected menu with everything from steaks, seafood, chicken, sandwiches and more. One of my new favorites is their French dip. So good! Everything we've order has been delicious. Everything is flavorful, well prepared, and served fresh and hot. On nights that they offer seafood or other "special" items it's a limited amount so they'll run out of some things pretty early. Get there for an early dinner if you can. Service is a little hit and miss. We've been in on days that our server was amazing and super friendly and other days that a server barely glanced our direction and never even came to our table. I think a couple of them really focus on their known regulars and less on people they don't immediately recognize. It's a very small dining area with limited seating but there are a few tables outside in a covered area as well. Several video poker machines are available if that's your thing. There's lots of parking, just be careful on your stroll to the door along Hwy 224. Cars are moving fast and focused on making the light more than where you might be walking on the side of the road. It's even a little more sketchy when the summer rafter start hitting the area. Overall, excellent food can be found here and is totally worth checking out. They also have a Facebook page, that I just discovered, that highlights their food offering from day to day. Give it a try!
