Server forgot about us. Took 25 minutes to place order. While waiting. watched other tables and food was coming out of the kitchen incorrect. No service recovery of any type. Table next to us with the same server, order messed up 3 times. No appearance of any type of manager or supervisor on the floor. Then after we finished our meal, took 10 minutes to get the check. When you are feeding the masses you must be fully staffed, food was delivered an hour late and the eggs and hash browns where raw and cold for all of us, not attentive at all because they are trying to meet the demand of everyone else there. Tried Them out twice and yet the same experience, The place is very tidy and clean the ambience is really nice, other than that I was not happy with the experience. Don't be fooled by the sign on the door. They will not serve you fresh food as fast as they can. This place is abysmal. We thought we'd give it a try because it is right down the street. Our server shared with us her favorite dishes when my husband asked, but said that Biscuits "isn't new," this is just a new location. Well, it's completely evident that this restaurant has some big issues to work out. We waited upwards of 40 minutes for eggs, hash browns, bacon, and pancakes. Our server came by one time to apologize. Then we asked when our food would be out. She went back to check. 15 minutes later, she came out carrying plates, saying SHE (our server) had to cook our food. She said two cooks walked out, so she had to do it. I have LOTS of thoughts on this, but my one question boils down to where the heck is management? Who is in charge? No one tried to make this right. No one offered to remove something from our bill. Folks at this establishment need to be trained and developed in customer service. Service needs to be urgent and purposeful. I doubt I'll hear back about this review, but felt the need to express my frustration. read more

I had an excellent experience at this Cafe. Let me just start off by saying people are quick to criticize and complain about every little thing so if you're reading this post please keep that in mind. The service was excellent the food was excellent and the price is average. I like the atmosphere and how the restaurant is laid out. Been to both the 59th ave location when they first opened as well as this one twice. I've never gotten food that actually has any flavor no matter what i get. The almond crusted French toast tasted like nothing, the hollandaise sauce tastes like nothing. I don't know how a place can have such incredibly BLAND food. I've only gone here because someone else picked it, I would never chose to go here on my own because the food is so tasteless. On a good note, the wait staff has always been excellent. Seated in about 5 mins. Waited for an hour for the server to tell us our food order had been lost. Everyone around us was given biscuits on the house for late food except us. No apology for the lack of service from the server either. And no manager appearance. Will not be coming back. Wish I could give a zero star. read more

Skip it. Literally my wife and I's second trip here and the 2nd trip was worst than the first. Will not return. Food was above average. Service was terrible. 10 mins for a greet. Another 10 for the water and 40 minutes for 2 of us to get our food. Looks like understaffed and over worked. No one cares. 2/17/19 1st and last visit. Our server was abundantly nice and jovial. But that quickly turned to our order into a 2 hr ordeal as well as the table next to us. Our server smelled of liquor and when we asked to discuss with manager he didn't seam too concerned. Next step will pursue complaint around liquor license. read more

For the wait of about 40 minutes and the price, the food was disappointing at best. I took one bite of the hash browns and was immediately turned off by them. I got through the biscuits and gravy and the gravy was a bit sour tasting. I ate the egg whites and those were cold, but I didn't have the confidence to eat the yolks. The bacon was alright, but also tasted like the grill wasn't entirely clean. Suffice to say, I was disappointed by my experience and I probably won't be back here, especially since there is a faster, better tasting breakfast place across the street. Never been here before and decided to take my mom here on Mother's day. We knew it would be busy we honestly did not have much of a wait to get our table. The original person that took our drink orders who was behind the bar the whole time was amazing to us and all the customers she greeted/took care of. Our waitress was nice but didn't talk to us really at all and we waited about 45 minutes for our food from the time our order was placed and had no apology from her. But again the place was busy so not sure it was really a deal breaker at the time. The girl that brought us our food was rude after my mom asked for silver ware. Like we were inconveniencing her. When she brought us our silverware and exactly two thin paper napkins she asked if she can get us anything else in a very passive aggressive tone like she was pretending to be nice when no one was even rude to her. She honestly ruined the whole experience for me and I doubt I'll be back! read more

If your looking for extremely long wait times and basically zero service, this is your spot. Had 12 waitresses or so in there with maybe 10 customers and it took 25 minutes for a waitress to take our food order, another 30 minutes to get the food and the waitress didnt came out 3 times, to take our order, being our food and leave our check. Not one time did she ask for a refill or how the food was or if we even needed boxes. Food is not bad, but definitely will not be coming back. Too bad because it's on the corner of our house, but this service is unacceptable. I'd give negative stars if I could. Just awful. read more

I have never eaten at a Biscuits before but have always heard they had amazing breakfast food. So when this one opened up I really wanted try it. First of all it was a fabulous experience. I had one of the very delicious avocado toast and my husband had the black oak kilbasa scramble ( which is big enough for two) and we both enjoyed every bite. Our waitress Becca was awesome she recommended my husband's food and the drink I got which was an Irish Creme Hot Chocolate she even had a cinnamon stick put in since they we're out of good Marshmallows. Kudos to the bartender it was amazing. Our hostess, Nicole, was also excellent through out our time here, she made sure to get us signed up for the rewards program. She also recommended we try the jams , which we ended up falling in love with and buying some of the Berry one. It was a great breakfast and we can't wait to go back and try more things on the menu next time. read more

Tried the Biscuits Cafe today on 67th and really enjoyed it. My Greek Omelette was excellent, and the other members of my party enjoyed their food as well. The waitstaff was very friendly and full of smiles . The menu choices all look tasty, so we will be going back again. read more

The food is good, but the service is lacking. Placed an order for curbside pickup. When you arrive you're supposed to call the number listed on the online receipt. No one answered phone, so threw on mask and went in to pick up. Once back in car noticed an item was missing, so had to go back in. After they brought missing item, realized the side of pancakes that's supposed to come with one of the meals was missing. When they brought it out there was no apology for missing items, just something like "glad you checked!" The food wasn't very warm, probably due to the delay with missing items. I had already left a tip when placing the online order, so I now know not to do that. I would think they'd have extra good customer service and want people to return (since maybe not doing as much business due to Covid), but I guess they're not that concerned. Will probably try again, but definitely not leaving a tip ahead of time. read more

Very good service. The food came quickly. I had the Patti melt. It was very well made. Not to gressy and it was crunchy the easy I like it. My wife had the club. It was. Very good also. They plates are good size. My wife was only able to eat held the club. There prices are average. I highly recommed this location. read more

We decided to give biscuits a try for brunch today and am I glad we did! It was great! The food did take a little bit to come out but it's a Saturday around 10:30 that is expected plus when the food did arrive it was delicious! Their menu is huge it was so hard to decide on just one thing. I ended up getting the almond french toast it was great. My husband got the country omelette it was covered in gravy had hash browns plus pancakes we ended up taking half of it home. Our server, Emily was the sweetest! Great service she answered all our questions, checked in multiple times, and our drinks were never empty (A pet peeve of mine). We will be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Our experience this morning at Biscuits Cafe was great. We were greeted and sat quickly, our food server was prompt and pleasant, and as usual, the food was excellent. Paid $60 for 3 people which was bad due to the quality of the food and service. Took our sever a long time to bring our water and she forgot the lemon. My eggs had shells in them and my waffle was over cooked. I asked for more syrup because my waffle was so dry and hard, she never brought it. She was witnessed about the restaurant and bar areas visiting. Won't go back. The prices are too high for the terrible service. I should have stayed home and toasted a Kellogg's waffle. read more

We have been going to Biscuits cafe for years (location on 59th ave) and were so excited that this location (67th ave) opened near us. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this location. My husband and I waited to be seated waiting 10 minutes and was not acknowledged the entire time. It was not even busy either. There was a waitress who came out to accept payment from a few customers after a few minutes and she walked by us TWICE without even saying a word and we were clearly waiting to be seated. She helped them and didn't bother even saying hi or that someone would be with us etc. I even stood up and walked towards the tables where another employee was training a new employee and they didn't acknowledge me either. There were 2 employees at the bar who were also clearly not busy as there was only one couple who were already eating. All of the other tables were already served and/or placed orders We were so disappointed so we left and ate at another restaurant. Don't come here unless you want to wait for nothing.
