For starts, let me just say the staff was wonderful. They were very kind and attentive. They had people coming around quite often to make sure everything was okay. As far as the food goes, we got the southern breakfast combo and the 2 pancake combo. The pancakes were decent. The bacon was cooked very nicely. The bad- I hate to say it, but this was probably my least favorite biscuits and gravy I've had in years. I physically couldn't eat anymore after 2 bites. It almost had like an unwashed mushroom/black dirt flavor. It was very off putting. The hash browns also had an odd flavor but they were definitely undercooked. I pretty much only ate the bacon and pancakes, same with my partner. I was definitely disappointed. They never put the prices down on the bill and the numbers don't add up to the total. i think they add the tip in the total. example: 4 for lunch. basis lunches for 4 with drinks did not add up to the total we got on the bill. about 25% more that was expected. not too sure, but the math isn't mathing to me. my advise, write down the prices on the bill. This spot has been here FOREVER. It's your typical hole in the wall diner with super friendly service. I will say the servers here were the friendliest ever and treated everyone like family that walked through the door. The inside is very dated and so are the booths. I am pretty sure I had a spring digging into me the whole time lol I will say the place was clean and the food was edible. There wasn't much seasoning on the potatoes, the pancakes were decent and fluffy and most importantly they made my over easy eggs correctly. I find a lot of places mess up an over easy egg. Overall, don't expect fine dining but expect to leave with a full belly and not a hole in your pocket. Service was friendly and the food arrived super quick! read more

I live close by so this is my go to breakfast spot. They have awesome customer service, great customers, and a good vibe. Since I work from home more than ever before I began ordering breakfast. They always have my order ready under 10 minutes. They include plasticware and sides if you need them. If you have some time to kill then grab a table for one and relax, or sit at the counter. They treat everyone who comes in the door like an old friend, and the place is full of the most wonderful characters you never knew existed in real life. Stopped here for breakfast today with my wife. I ordered the sausage gravy with biscuits, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns. My wife ordered sausage patties, toast, and potatoes. I also ordered orange juice and my wife ordered soda. The orange juice was very good. The biscuits were very good, very fluffy and tasted home made, the hashbrowns were browned nicely and the scrambled eggs were exactly what you would expect. The gravy was very bland, it made me wonder if the had any seasoning in the restaurant. I added a bunch of salt and pepper which made it better, but it really lack any seasoning at all. My wife decided she only wanted one of her sausage patties so I ate the other one. The patties were really good and had just a hint of a kick to them, very good. She offer me a taste of the potatoes she ordered and they very bland, no salt or pepper at all. The staff here was exceptional, even though the restaurant was busy we were quickly seated and our order was placed and we received it within 5 minutes, probably less. Overall, we both left full, the portions were pretty good size. If they seasoned their food at all, this would be a great place to eat. read more

Parsons doesn't claim to be innovative or to have a Michelin Chef planning tiny bite barely meals! Come here for Cafe style comfort food like your Grandparents used to serve on a Saturday evening! Week day specials, Burgers and things like Meatloaf, BLTs, Hot Turkey Sandwiches, simple Breakfasts which are cooked to order and even Liver and Onions for those of us who understand the yum!!! We ate here on Fathers Day on a whim due to convenience. Once seated Beverages we're quick to arrive! Wait staff were friendly and doublechecked order before leaving the table. Altho they were busy the wait for seating wasn't more than 10 minutes and the food arrived in about the same amount of time! Burgers were Yummy tots were hot and crispy, meatloaf and sides, no complaints! Don't come here expecting walls plastered with antiquities or tired art or frilly window coverings. There's no Juke boxes, floor space is optimized for seating and not gumball or claw machines! Visit Parsons for a good solid no nonsense meal! I've got two suggestions if Management is interested. I ordered the biscuits and gravy biscuits are not the traditional type of biscuit they are more bread like, less flakey and buttery. The gravy which is the sausage creamy gravy was lacking in sausage and pepper almost plain. The service is good ladies all ask if I had been helped they are all nice very accommodating. Two weirdos standing in between cars, might be the valet service for the restaurant who knows. read more

This was our first visit to this restaurant, walked in immediately was greeted and was sat down in a booth , immediately was asked what we wanted to drink , wife got coffee and I ordered a small orange juice , which came to the table right away. Waitress gave us a few minutes to look at menus , she came back within minutes, took our orders. My wife ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs over easy with hash browns and an English muffin. I ordered the hamburger patty with eggs and hash browns and toast. I want to say within 10 minutes we had our food , everything was hot and cooked to order , everything was delicious, the gravy on the chicken fried steak was very tasty. The service was outstanding, you could tell they had a lot of regulars , everyone was happy and helpful. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant , great food and excellent service goes far , and the prices were not bad , highly recommend this place . read more

Well this place is easy to find. It's not bad in price but the food is just ok. There is not very much favor to the food. Even if you use salt and pepper the food doesn't have much favor. Everyone waiting on people are friendly and they follow up on you and all but the food just doesn't have any favor. DONT LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. These old people are tripping and handing out 5 star reviews because it reminds them of the good ol days. This is the most plain breakfast I've ever had and it is what it is. Not bad, not great. Gravy was unseasoned, biscuits were dense, but everything came out in 3 minutes. Seriously, 3 minutes. If I could give a 10 star review I totally would! Its very rare nowadays to go to a restaurant and feel welcomed. Feel like your presence matters. Like you're important. But these ladies.... WOW! I will definitely be back. As soon as I opened the door a friendly voice said "Good morning, would you like to sit here" got our drinks order immediately. Gave us menus. Multiple waitresses checked on us, asked if we had questions, if we were ready. Made small talk about my tattoos. Told us her story on her tattoo. Once we ordered, we received our food in 3/4 minutes top. And boy was the food delicious. You ladies have made my day. I have watched you greet other customers the same way, your regulars greeted the same and treated awesome. The way you all work as a team is amazing. Such a positive and welcoming vibe. I could sit here all day and enjoy your banter. You ladies make the world a better place! Thank you for being amazing! I will continue to come to Parson's for my remaining stay in Phoenix.
