This is a must-try if you are in the OBX. Amazing biscuits. Soft, cheesey, and fluffy - absolutely perfect. This was, without a doubt, the best biscuit I ever had. My bacon went perfectly with it. It was tender, juicy, and really well seasoned. The hash browns are also outstanding. Don't let the name of this place or the fact that it's a gas station convenience store fool you...their biscuits are seriously bomb. I'd even go as far to say that these are the best biscuits I've ever had. We stopped in around 9am on a Saturday and there was a line, but it moved quick. You can choose what kind of biscuit you want, regular or cheddar, and what you would like on it. We ended up getting a bacon, egg, and cheese on a cheddar biscuit and a few normal biscuits to go. We also threw a hashbrown on the breakfast sandwich just for the fun of it. The sandwich was awesome and besides the biscuit, the best part was the hashbrown, which was crispy and flavorful. Yes... it's an actual convenience store. However, these biscuits were AMAZING!! We had the bacon, egg, and cheese on a cheesy biscuit and the chicken, egg, and cheese on a cheesy biscuit and they were HUGE. When we got there, there was a long line but it moved quickly and the people were so friendly. They also have the best swag. My husband got a couple of their T-shirts and gets stopped everywhere he goes so people can ask more about the place. Walked in, started looking at the menu with my family members and immediately got yelled at because we were standing to the side looking at the menu instead of looking at the menu in the line where you order???? We replied stating that we wanted to look at the menu first and she thought it was appropriate to reply with "I promise you can see the menu while standing in line" like why would we stand in the busy line if we don't even know if we wanted to eat there???? Its a small biscuit counter inside of a gas station that also sells porn at small child height (so theres your warning for the prudish) and reeked of the devils lettuce which is maybe a seasonal scent or signs of the foodie mecca this place truly is. I know that this place is a huge tourist attraction in the Outer Banks so I had pretty decent expectations. It was busy when we got there which was expected. They had their porn display which fair it's in the name, they had a bunch of shirts and hats and stickers which was awesome glad they had that selection.
