It is more of a casual atmosphere that is slightly more upscale than your average pub. We chose to sit outside on the couches, and it is a super cool area that I definitely recommend! We ordered the pretzels, calamari, and the Salmon Spring Salad (with chicken instead of salmon). The pretzels were absolutely delicious, as was the beer cheese dip it was served with. Additionally, the fried calamari was amazing. Lastly, I really enjoyed my salad as it was very fresh. Our waitress, Lori, was extremely helpful and very kind. I've been here twice - once for a private party in the afternoon on the second floor. There was catered food and drinks. The Cajun chicken pasta was fantastic and the two mixed drinks I had were great. The second time was this past weekend after 8pm, we went to the top floor, found a spot inside and enjoyed an appetizer and drink. The doors were open so we were able to enjoy the band that was performing just outside as well. The appetizer was pretzels and beer cheese which were amazing - the pretzels were soft and cheese was tasty. Food runners are bringing the food up 3 flights of stairs! We could have easily stayed longer but planned to hop around a bit. The atmosphere is quite nice and I'd recommend this for a meal or to relax and enjoy the entertainment. read more

I have a friend who works here so I wanted to stop by one time when she was working. That said I had a biased experience in terms of my server. However other staff checked in on our table as well, it may have looked a little chaotic, but they knew what they were doing and kept tabs on everything! I ordered the jumbalaya because honestly it sounded really good and you can't order that just anywhere. This was my second time eating shrimp and I can confidently say I'm a fan of shrimp now. The jumbalaya altogether was delicious. Friends said that their drinks were great! I enjoyed the atmosphere and it seems like they frequently have live music and events. First impressions of the design & layout are impressive - multiple layers of balconies & design inside was very cool. We sat on the upper level, outside. From my experience, they appear to be paying attention to the feedback here, as we had very good service, prompt attention, & no misses. I have 2 knocks against the place 1. The limited menu items & portions at that, but they may grow into something more expansive as they work mature. 2. Cigar smoking outside - granted, they may not necessarily be able to control that, but tables near an exit/entrance should be designated as a "Non-Smoking Area" so you're not walking through a cloud of smoke entering or leaving & so the smell doesn't get into the interior. read more

AMAZING dinner. I almost got the Cajun pasta but my friend inquired about the fish special that rotates and was not disappointed even though my friends did get the pasta and did also greatly enjoy it. The mahi mahi was perfectly cook to be just tender and the Avocado and salsa really mixed well with it, and the asparagus tasted straight from a garden so fresh and perfectly cooked to not be limp but not wooden. The live music was charming and a great addition to the atmosphere and the service, though they were extremely busy, was still exceptional. Shout out to our waiter Noah! My 3rd time in a year, and it continues to disappoint. Two hours in and we are waiting for a 2nd round of drinks. Still no food. The previous two visits were the same. I got dragged here by my wife (again!) who insisted that A) this time would be different (why?) and B) that our usual haunt (Kirby's) wasn't fancy enough for her "fancy" friends. Service = awful. Our server was sweet but incapable of producing food or drinks. Food = non-existent, but poor in previous visits. Drinks = my wife's Lemon Drop arrived warm and was watery. I'm hoping the argument with my wife over how this place is awful will prevent us from returning for 4th time. We paid for our drinks and left before our food arrived. Never been to New Orleans, but driving up to this place I felt as if I was not in Loveland anymore! My friend who has been agreed the ambiance was total French Quarters vibe! The food... oooo the food!! Very very good! I had the Steak Sandwich it was mouth watering good! One friend had the shrimp and scallop skewers which are good sizes and scallops cooked perfect, the other friend had chicken sliders, which she enjoyed the voodoo bbq sauce. My wife and I dropped in here for a drink and appetizer on a Sunday afternoon. The ambiance of the place is fantastic and provides a variety of areas inside and out to drink and drink relax or to have a full meal. We thought the drinks were very good, albeit a little pricey, but on par with the other places in Loveland. The Tiger Bacon, Oysters and Poutine were all good. The beignets were underwhelming. A few of the other reviews indicate poor service, but our service was pretty good although our waitress went missing for a while. We came to celebrate my partners 27th birthday on a Friday night. We got there around 6:30 and it was decently full, we're able to walk to and get drinks on the second level which was very chill. Third level was a bit more boisterous as there was live music (Paisley Cane!). The first floor is the floor with the most restaurant like atmosphere. We loved the food and the waitress was fantastic. We had an incident where my partner and I were worried about my MIL as there was a creepy man at the bar, we called the bar and the manager handled it swiftly and discreetly which we GREATLY appreciated. I ordered the short ribs and they were not short ribs. It was fairly tough, thin sliced roast beef with very thin, tasteless mashed potatoes and all items ordered were barely warm. The apps and sandwiches seemed fine but could have been served hot so I would stick with the bar food items and not ware the money on their "better dining" options. The restaurant was not crowded (we arrived about 5:45 on Saturday 4/30) and even when we left, no one was waiting for a table. There was a private function on the 2nd level and our party of 4 was on the third level. All ambience, and no substance. Stopped in for a socially distanced lunch, in between furniture shopping. Having never ate here and not living nearby, I expected too much I suppose from its charming exterior. The music is loud indoors, and only slightly less loud outside. It was 12:30 pm on a Friday, what the crap? Maybe trying to push a young vibe? I'm in my 30s and already have hearing loss, please don't contribute to it. Menu is small and not really inspiring. Maybe this is a place to come for drinks instead? With three floors and a prime corner location in downtown, I expected something more. I had the salad with grilled shrimp. Honestly, tasted and looked like something that I make for myself at home for lunch. The dressing did have a decent herb flavor. But for the price, the salad is quite minuscule. Husband had the burger and fries, asked for Medium for the temp, waitress says that's how they are usually done with being a thin patty (LOL) and it was very well done. Fries had so much smoked paprika on them, it was like someone accidentally dumped the container of spice on it. I liked the glassware though! It could be a cool, romantic place. We wandered Loveland today and tried different places on the Main drag. Stopping in at Bishop's Quarter was unfortunately a real disappointment. The space is huge and inviting, that is 5 star for sure. Exposed brick, bar from the early 1900's, velvet plush covered booths and a super nice rooftop area for hanging out. We absolutely loved Katelyn, she is the perfect bartender, as young as she is...because she has great stories to tell since she's been in 150 countries by the age of 27. The food...thumbs down, thumbs down, THUMBS DOWN!! Oysters on the half shell were ok. I like them with horseradish, cocktail sauce and vinaigrette. They were as expected. Shrimp cocktail was ok. I could go to Kroger and be just as happy from the fresh seafood case. Gumbo and Crawfish Bisque was a huge disappointment. Gumbo had a piece of shrimp tail and that was pretty much the only protein. No sausage, and when you view the video I attached, watery soup with rice and over cooked carrots, celery and tomatoes. Went here with my husband, sister, and brother in law for dinner. We sat at a table on the 3rd floor. Our waitress started out ok got our drinks in and ordered food. Each couple got one appetizer and a meal to split as we had ate a few hours prior so we weren't terribly hungry. Food came out all together, we had subbed the fries for Brussel sprouts but the order ended up being wrong and we had to wait a bit for the server to come over to get the correction. My brother in law waited 10+ mins for ketchup my husband ended up grabbing it from another table that had just left. Waitress never checked to see if we needed refills my husband had to take all 4 drinks up to the bar as he approached the waitress was taking a shot. He came back to the table we waited an additional 5 mins for her to come back with our drinks after he took them up. After we finished our meals (needing another refill - decided to call it quits on getting checked on) we asked for our bill she came back with the bills ($40 per couple) we waited 20 more mins trying to cash out so we could leave she never came over. Husband had to take the bill up to the bar where he finds our waitress grinding on a guy dancing to music taking a shot. At this point we were so over the bad service we both decided not to tip as my husband was basically our server the entire meal this has never happened to where we do not tip a waitress. As we left and walked to the elevator she came out and yelled "I appreciate that!" Very sarcastic and rudely. My husband went back in asked very nicely "excuse me what did you say? She said " I said I appreciate that" he said I'm sorry, but the service you provided was awful. Another guy jumped in between him and her like my husband was doing something wrong and that guy ended up telling my husband that he was sorry about it and he was good. We left and went downstairs where my husband asked to speak to a manager. The manager lady came over and acted like it was no big deal and told him that it looked like a heated conversation upstairs and Tahj had to step in my husband said no it wasn't heated at all I just asked her what the problem was and she didn't like it she came at us. If she would have done her job we would have tipped. She should have taken accountability and saw she did a terrible job especially when we were her ONLY table she had to tend to! She was to busy dancing and taking shots. The manager said that the owners don't mind that they have just a little shot that's there policy. It's an awful policy when your waitresses are to busy getting turnt up and not doing there job they get paid to do. If you want crappy service and an alright scenery I'd suggest it. Not to mention we had to yell across the table to hear anything the other couple were saying. Very disappointed. I do however commend The Wicked Pickle, Ramseys, and the Taphouse! Visited downtown Loveland and went to Bishops Quarter for the first time. We were attracted by their New Orlean style building with the case iron balconies. They have a second floor balcony and a roof top bar. We went to the roof top bar which seemed to be a fun place to hang out. Their menu had a lot of New Orleans influenced items. We enjoyed their cocktails, the Old Fashion and French Quarter 75 were both very good. My boyfriend had the grouper sandwich and he said it was very good. My forded Brussels Sprouts tacos were good and unique, We are moving to Loveland in a couple of weeks. This will definitely be one of our usual spots. read more

It was around 7 o'clock in the evening on a Sunday, and Loveland was packed. There were no clear tables, and we had to go find someone to ask to clean a table for us to sit down at outside. The people sitting next to us declared they had been there 15 minutes before someone had even offered them a menu or a drink. We ended up sitting down at a dirty table and were finally waited upon. We were helped by three different people--All running around very frantic. One person did not realize why we did not have silverware and drinks, etc. and tried to help us. Our order came out, and we were missing a few items, but it was eventually taken care of. They did comp one of our items on our check without us asking, as they knew the whole dining experience was a hot mess. We did finally ask our sweet server what the problem was, as she seemed so overworked. We were told that they had not anticipated such a big crowd on a Sunday. Note to the manager, after living in Loveland for years, every day it is nice outside, any restaurant with outside seating will be packed. The bike trail brings so many customers in on a nice summer day, so please staff your restaurant accordingly. I felt bad for our server, as everyone around us was also frustrated. It was not fair to her, as I am sure that she was shorted tips throughout the evening because she was taking care of so many tables. She was not able to focus in on one specific section due to her running back and forth. She held her own--I'm sure it was a rough night for her. Located on the corner as you enter downtown Loveland, it is a beautiful old building renovated on all three stories. There is plenty of outdoor seating around the building on the first level, as well as on the second and third stories. The third floor has an open rooftop bar complete with patio lights. It's a historic building, and they did a great job renovating it while keeping the flare of the original building. They do have drink and/or food specials each night of the week. My favorite deal is on Sundays! You can get their gourmet cheeseburger for five dollars and a side of fries for $2.50. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I do not believe they serve cheeseburgers during the week... they are only available on Sundays. You can't beat a cheeseburger and fries for $7.50! Those fries are delicious! So salty and perfect with a burger. They are known for their seafood dishes, as well as they're expansive list of alcohol choices. Since I don't drink, I would come here to eat some appetizers or get the deal on Sundays. They have plenty a room to sit outside and enjoy a beverage or a side dish. To be honest, I would classify them more as being a bar with a few options for food, but they have a larger selection of drinks than they do for food. They mainly just have light bites. Just keep that in mind if you come here with a full appetite. I'm glad they have made their home here in Loveland! They are a great addition to our historic store fronts. They are right near the bike trail, so it would be easy to grab a drink or an appetizer there before heading to dinner across the street. read more

Biked down on the trail and came here for dinner. Atmosphere is great, the third floor patio is open and lively, with a (very loud) live band on Friday nights. They have a happy hour ($1 off drinks) and the specialty drinks were good. The food was average. The good: dry run Cajun wings. Nice flavor, fried but not greasy. I'd do these again. The bad: the fish and chips sounded good, but when it came out for another patron I saw it was a huge fish piece with really think breading... like some sort of baked fish fried pie... hard pass. I got a burger... and it seemed like a GFS patty slathered in bbq sauce. Wife got blackened mahi. It was cooked well, but the spices were just piled on top and not exactly cooked onto the fish in a blacked style. The rice and brand has absolutely no flavor. Since the best part was being outside and the band (which was way too loud for the small space), in the future I'd just go to one of the other places that is nearby instead (where you can still hear the band but also hear your dinner guests) read more

This is such a fun place! The building alone is really unique. The first floor has a lot of exposed brick and it's where they keep their bourbon selections. The second floor as more of a lounge feel to it and it's where they keep their wine. The third floor has a sports bar type atmosphere with screen TVs and a rooftop balcony and that's where they keep their beer. They periodically have live music, and I went one evening and enjoyed the band so much! They recently started offering brunch, so I stopped by there today with some girlfriends for a "Galentine's Brunch". We all got different things, and overall the food was good. I got the chicken and waffles - now, it's hard because I couldn't help to compare them to the Taste of Belgium chicken and waffles which are AMAZING! But the chicken tasted fresh which was nice (and it was filling) and the waffles were so-so. But, their hazelnut beignets are the best! Their $5 burgers on Sundays are also very good. Totally recommend checking it out! I haven't tried too much on their menu, so I would be curious to try out one of the main dishes. read more

Had lunch with a friend today on the patio. Service was excellent. The server was very knowledgeable and the manager stopped over several times to ensure we were taken care of. Now the important stuff, the food. This place had a very NOLA feel with their menu items.. Apps- we got the poutine which was a twist on what us Cincinnatians are used to, it had the normal fries with cheese on top but then there was an andouille gravy and fried shrimp on top. It was delicious...and I'm not a sausage fan.. My friend got the crab cakes and said they were excellent, I saw big chunks of crab and not just breading as a filler. I got the blackened grouper sandwich, this is a tough one for me, I have been really craving grouper and it's almost impossible to get it fresh up north. I would give it about a 6/10. I really liked the sauce they served with it and they cooked it great you could still tell it was previously frozen but it was good for being in Ohio and wanting grouper Now for the winner...
