I visited Ramsey's today with a staff member. I LOVE IT! The menu is fresh and I was able to try something I've never had. That's challenging for a self proclaimed foodie! There was so much on the menu that I wanted to try but decided on the fried ravioli! Delicious! I'll definitely go back and it's a must visit if you're in the Loveland area. My Mr. dined at Ramsey's awhile back for lunch. He mentioned coming here and I'm glad we did. Located in old Loveland on the bike trail. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and they were pretty busy. Hostess asked if it was okay to if we sit in the outdoor patio (which is closed off during winter hours) area since it was busy. We had no problem with that. Their menu is small but a lot of choose from. Their beginners were pretty impressive that we ordered mainly from there. Some of their meals are shareable. Their best seller is their pretzel but we will have to try that next time since there were many other that I wanted to try first. They do have salads, sandwiches, meals (fish & chicken) and dessert. We ordered: -Areyna Malbec -Crab Cakes- Hand crafted blue crab claw meat, served with cilantro lime aioli -Alaskan Amber -Brussels Sprouts- crispy sprouts with a bourbon maple glaze -Sliced Filet Mignon- filet mignon thinly sliced paired with red wine sauce, bleu cheese butter, and mushroom and garlic sauce -side of mashed potatoes My fave were the filet mignon (love the blue cheese and mushroom sauce that came with it, the crab cakes were so good with cilantro aioli and the Brussels Sprouts were tasteful. The maple bourbon sauce paired well with it. Overall, such a great experience and our server was friendly and attentive. We would definitely return! Located in downtown Loveland with free parking across the street. Look for the Cincinnati Reds figure on the bench if the first time. It's a great place for a photo op. Likely their name derives from the trail that runs beside the restaurant. Our couples visit was on a Friday evening. A small wait with notification by text. We were seated with menus and our waitress got drink orders. I got a cheeseburger and fries, my wife fish n' chips. The pricing was excellent. After a 25 min wait food hit the table. Everything looked good. We both enjoyed our meals and a follow up occurred refreshing drinks. For desert a chocolate donut with ice cream and drizzled chocolate. It was pretty good, also affordable. The food was very delicious. As an appetizer, i got the salsa and guacamole with chips and the chip to sauce ratio was great. I also got the Fajita bowl with chicken added on and it was amazing. It had lots of fantastic flavors and you could tell they cooked the food with care. All the food had amazing portion sizes. Our servers name was Natalie and she was great and she took care of us with amazing service even though we had a party of 10 people including some young kids. She was very kind and attentive to us at all times. She served us with a smile and was overall a great server. The atmosphere was very cute and they had 2 levels, with an inside part with a bar, outside seating, and a higher part of outside seating. The brussel sprouts were the opposite of crispy. Think not hot, think hard and the only good news is that they took them off of my bill. If anyone has had blue claw crab meat, you know it when you see and taste it. The crab cakes were perfect in size but to me it looked like the only thing in the cake was fillers and the only thing you tasted was the over done breading. I'm in love with this little restaurant in downtown Loveland. The ambiance is cute, the staff was lovely, but watch out for the parking. Sadly, I think the lack of parking in the area is a major detractor to any of the businesses around the area. Maybe if you bike over you'll have better luck! The food, however, isn't super great. The french fries were pretty nice - but, the brisket sandwich left a lot to be desired. There wasn't much flavor, the meat was quite chewy, and the sauce was off-the-shelf. Maybe it was my fault for getting brisket, but with such a small menu, I would anticipate those items would be high-quality. read more

An amazing experience tonight . We had Melora as a server and she simply was the BEST ! Confident , personable and willing to tell you directly what is best on the Menu. She wasn't in a hurry and actually listened and had a beautiful conversation with us ! In my quest to identify the top burgers in Cincinnati, I visited Ramsey's Trailside. Their burger and fries were good, not great. To their credit, got the flavor of a burger made from ground round and cooked on a grill at home. Couldn't touch the top competitors like Bru and Bones, but a cut above the average. read more

This place has great food and the service is awesome. When the weather is nice they open up the doors and windows and it has a really cool vibe. It is right on the Loveland trail so even if there is a small wait there are plenty of bars and shops to check out while you are down there. We have been several times. read more

I'd been here for lunch before and liked it so much that I wanted to bring my lady one day. I knew she'd like it too and I was right. We both agree that this is an excellent spot in Loveland and that anyone would really like it here. The food is great, the service is fantastic, and the place itself has a relaxing atmosphere. We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They were pretty busy already so we were asked if it's okay that we be seated in their closed-in patio. We were fine with it and found it more comfortable than we expected. Our server came for our drink order right away. My lady ordered an Areyna Malbec and I got a pint of Alaskan Amber. Our server was very friendly and told us all about the menu. He said the beginners were big sellers, especially the big pretzel and crab cakes. The menu itself isn't huge but does have a very nice variety. Here's everything we ordered food-wise: -Crab Cakes- Hand crafted blue crab claw meat, served with cilantro lime aioli -Brussels Sprouts- crispy sprouts with a bourbon maple glaze -Sliced Filet Mignon- filet mignon thinly sliced paired with red wine sauce, bleu cheese butter, and mushroom and garlic sauce -side of mashed potatoes We went tapas style and enjoyed everything we got, especially the crab cakes and filet mignon (all the sauces were tasty but the bleu cheese was definitely my favorite). We thought we might have room for dessert afterwards, but we didn't. Maybe we will next time and there will certainly be a next time. Great spot for lunch or dinner, and the prices are pretty nice too. I'd recommend making reservations for dinner because it looks like this place gets busy fast. That should tell you how good it is. The bowls are nice size and come with a protein, well priced and reasonable. Alot of bar options. Waiter was good. Speedy service. Visited last week with a few girlfriends and sat on the patio. The weather was especially lovely, the location close to the trail was nice & our table was in the shade. We all 4 ordered different things, my salad was excellent, loaded with veggies and goat cheese. I tried a few of a friends fries and they were yummy. I started with the jumbo tots. Not there - fried mashed instead of shredded. Crispy texture outside, mushy inside, no ranch as on the menu. 2/10 Went with the salmon & asparagus with mashed, which was even more disappointing than the tots. The most bland mashed I think I've had in my life as a White person. When I say these were bland, they topped any Pentecostal snake handling potluck you have either have/not been to. Salmon was 6/10 flavor wise & asparagus was cooked well. I've had better. I'd say the only thing this place has going for it is the location/ambiance. Other than that, MANY other options that are same price point & better. read more

This is a great location right on the bike trail in Loveland. It stays busy. Maybe their great burgers are the reason. My fish was over fried and very crunchy. The slaw wasn't tasty, it was flavorless. The egg rolls didn't seem to be cooked enough. That burger was really great even though it was my husbands, I did try it. The veggies and choices for toppings is fresh and elaborate. The fettuccini was also tasty, we added shrimp to it. The shrimp were fresh and plump. There's a wide array of alcohol choices, I just had water. This is very casual place and it was really quieter that night. I guess we picked a good night to visit. It's a nice casual dine in restaurant on the Loveland trail. The service was good and the ambience is nice -- especially if you get to sit on the outside patio. The food is decent -- a little more than basic bar type food. We shared the hummus platter, which was quite large but the hummus was rather mediocre. I got the soup special which was supposedly their chowder, but it really tasted more like a tomato basil. Good soup just not what I was expecting. The quinoa salad that my wife ordered was excellent -- came with avocado and walnuts. You don't come here for the food but to relax after a nice walk on the trail, and the place delivers. read more
