First time ordering Indian food and was pleasantly surprised by all the flavors! Because I am not…read moreuse to eating long grain basmati/jasmine rice, it was slightly drier than I'd like it to be. But otherwise, it was flavorful and went well with the lamb curry. The mixed biryani had pieces of different proteins mixed into the rice and squeezing lemon on top was really nice! Though I didn't go in person to the restaurant, I can only imagine the kind of decors the place might have had. The soup was not exactly the best. It was very gritty and pulpy? I also did scoop up a glob of tomato paste that wasn't fully incorporated into the soup which was sad. Maybe they didn't realize

Ordered delivery today on their online platform which was easy to use - you also get 5% discount…read morebut there's also a platform fee. There's free delivery for $12 and up purchase. You can easily check their online website to see if they will deliver to your address. Food came so quickly. Came in less than 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the packaging was not great and a lot of the food leaked. The food was still edible and they were generous with their rice portions. Flavor is good, not very spicy for the curries. Portion size is not bad either. The garlic naan was a little disappointing. It looked half burnt and the garlic flavor was very mild. Just felt like a regular naan with some pieces of garlic tossed on top. The lamb korma I ordered separated after 30 mins, and you can see that there was a lot of oil. Overall: food is not bad, portion size is good, but the take out packaging is not so good.

Delicious food, pocket friendly, and big portions! I got the mango lassi, aloo qeema, aloo tiki,…read moreand 3 vegetable samosas. My order came super quick (15 minutes ish)! The aloo qeema seemed like minced/shredded chicken. I was expecting whole pieces of chicken but it was still tasty. What I recommend is getting the meat and then making your own rice. That way you can save it for the next day, etc... The aloo tiki basically tasted like the inside of a vegetable samosa but double the f. When I cut it, it was easy to fall apart and mushy. I never had a mango lassi in brooklyn since my friends would tell me how they get stomach aches after eating at the Indian/Pakistani places around Coney Island Ave. To my surprise the mango lassi was bottled. It's an easy to go/ drink version of mango yogurt. This might be my go to mango lassi place now. And lastly the vegetable samosa! It came with the mint colored sauce. Typically one can't go wrong with a samosa but I will say that theirs was super oily on what side and semi easy to fall apart on the edges. It was still delicious so I would get it again... post covid. The reason why is due to my concern for the safety/ hygiene of this place (which is why I took off a star). The appetizers/fritters were just placed in a brown paper bag. There was no container or packaging for it. Also, according to another review the staff don't wear their masks.

Be prepared to feel like you've been transported back to Pakistan, because that's exactly what this…read moreplace delivers. The food is some of the most authentic Pakistani cuisine I've had anywhere in New York, from the naan to the saag. If you're missing home, this restaurant is truly an experience. Don't get me wrong--the food is rich, generously cooked with oil, and probably not the healthiest option, but that's part of what makes Pakistani food so comforting and authentic. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to visit with family. There's almost always a line, but that's a good sign and a testament to how great the food is. The service is solid--they make sure you get what you need. The ambience is simple and functional, especially for a packed restaurant, but the focus here is clearly on the food. If you're craving real Pakistani flavors, this place is worth the visit.

The bathrooms were extremely dirty, with visible mold, damaged fixtures, and even poop marks left on the toilet bowl. Nobody seated us when we arrived. We were left trying to figure out where to sit because every table seemed to have an issue. One table had a shopping bag on it, chairs at another table were disorganized, and another table had not been cleaned after the previous customers had eaten. The service was just as disappointing. The person who took our order asked us three times what we had ordered--even though she had written the order down. She would serve one thing and ask again what was left now . All the food was practivalled dumped. Flies were flying around and actually landing on my food. The food itself was unacceptable. The aloo tikki appeared spoiled--the potato was sticky and had an acidic taste. When I complained, the server simply responded, "Hmm," and did nothing to address the issue. Then we found a human hair fried directly into the fish fry. Again, the server seemed completely unbothered and did nothing to resolve the situation. At that point, we stopped eating and asked for the bill. Despite the poor experience, the server reminded us to leave a tip. We did leave one, but I explained that tipping is meant to reflect good service and that we were very unhappy with the service we received. Her response was simply, "Koi nahi." We were still charged the full price, along with the tip and an additional 3% credit-card fee. Overall, the combination of the extremely dirty conditions, poor service, spoiled food, a hair fried into the fish, flies landing on the food, and the complete lack of concern when we complained made this a very disappointing experience. An absolute Dumpster .. cant imagine how dirty the kitchen after seeing the bathtoom
