If you haven't try Indian food I highly recommend you order their dinner set It comes with everything! And the tandoori chicken so good ! You can't miss it out !

We came here for a catch up lunch after spending the day doing chores. We were starving so, we ordered a few appetizers to share. We ordered fried shrimp ($8.95), shrimp pakora ($7.95), chicken samosa ($3.95). The menu description was a bit confusing. The fried shrimp was actually curried style and came with a delicious and fluffy poori. Tere loved the curry and kept the extra bits that was left. I personally lost interest in the dish once the last shrimp was consumed. The shrimp pakora was fried shrimps with onion rings. I noticed a light curry scent in the batter. My friends enjoyed the chicken samosas but, I wasn't really a fan because I don't like ground meat. We did three daily specials that included an appetizer and entree for $17. We got the chicken tikka appetizer and chicken tikka masala and chicken korma. The chicken tikka app came out blazing hot and we got a massive mound of chicken. The chicken had a nice char on the outside. We enjoyed both currries we got for the entrees. However, we felt that the chicken tikka masala was more flavorful but, the korma is perfect for people with a low tolerance of spicy. I did wish that the naan was a bit more buttery but, everyone else thought it was okay. For dessert, the waiter treated us to a free round of rice porridge. Personally, I never liked this but, my friend loved it. We also got some pistachio ice cream and it was so delicious and creamy. I loved that the ice cream tasted fresh and wasn't like other places that was filled with ice chips. The service was okay. The waiter only stopped by to drop off items and he escaped back into the kitchen. I am guessing that they are very short-staffed and he had to help out in the back. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and love Indian food. The prices are affordable and they are very generous with the portion sizes.

Food was ok but there was a bug in the complimentary dessert I've been ordering for a while but this time I saw something black as soon as I opened it when I took it out this is what I saw

WAY too much food coloring on this chicken tikka masala

What did I just eat? The chicken tikka masala was SO RED that I thought I was eating paint. I scooped it over some rice and it dyes my plate. I had a few spoons but it just felt so wrong and unhealthy because of the intense food coloring that I couldn't bring myself to finish this. If only you can see the color of this. The mango lassi was on a similar boat and was more orange than what I'm used to when I order at other restaurants. Please stop using so much food coloring. Otherwise, chicken and vegetable Samosa was really good and the owner/staff was really nice and friendly. You get 10% off for using cash. I'm hesitant to try this restaurant again because of the overuse of food coloring.

Delicious, fluffy naan and an endless array of both sweet and spicy condiments. Mango chutney was sugary and slightly tangy-- wonderful when recovering from the spice. The saag masala felt light, fresh, and spicy (glad I selected "hot"). Probably wouldn't get the rasmalai again because it didn't have the rose flavor I like, but not to despair. It seems they threw in a tasty orange rice pudding (!).... which I had accidentally, initially, spread on my garlic naan...If you want delicious and varied flavors, order from here. I would love to dine in sometime soon.

Curry comes in a pint container but you get a lot of rice on the side. I got mostly bones with little meat and meat was too chewy.

You can easily check their online website to see if they will deliver to your address. Food came so quickly. Came in less than 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the packaging was not great and a lot of the food leaked. The food was still edible and they were generous with their rice portions. Flavor is good, not very spicy for the curries. Portion size is not bad either. The garlic naan was a little disappointing. It looked half burnt and the garlic flavor was very mild. Just felt like a regular naan with some pieces of garlic tossed on top. The lamb korma I ordered separated after 30 mins, and you can see that there was a lot of oil. Overall: food is not bad, portion size is good, but the take out packaging is not so good.

We didn't notice until we got home that we had paid the full price for all of the items, including the dessert. I attempted to have my credit card company assist me with the dispute, but the restaurant claimed that since I had paid the full price, they were not responsible. Oh course, I should have looked more closely at the bill before I paid, but most restaurants would have acknowledged their error, apologized, and reimbursed us for the overcharge. But these are truly, terrible, arrogant people. They also own Damaka, Selma, Adda, Kebabwala, Rowdy Rooster, Naks, Sanwits, Biryani Bol, so I would steer clear of these places also.

All in all, it sounds like a pretty good deal, especially since free (and speedy!) delivery is offered with a $12 minimum. I was very excited for my lunch because I ordered samosas, which are one of my favorite things to eat. These samosas were comically large and quite delicious. The crust was crispy and robust enough to hold all the smooth filling of curried potatoes and peas without getting soggy. However, the accompanying condiments were so thinned out to the point that they weren't really sauces anymore, but rather colored water. The cucumber raita didn't taste like anything, nor did the spicy mint pesto. The tamarind chutney had a slight fruity tang to it, but lacked viscosity. Although my chicken tikka masala entree had generous portions of chicken, it tasted drier than cardboard. The rice was not very fluffy but the naan was superb. I realized my tongue started feeling weird and tingly after eating the entree. I'm not quite sure what could have caused this sensation but as I have a tree nut allergy, I suspect some cross-contamination may have occurred. Indeed I spent the rest of the afternoon and evening feeling rather poorly. Overall, I probably would give Halal Indian Food & Falafel one star for the overcooked (and possibly contaminated) entree. The watered down condiments were also not very appealing. What is the point in including chutneys and raita if they lack taste? I'll add one more star because the delivery service was efficient and the samosas and naan were not bad at all. However, those with food allergies should be a bit wary when ordering from this establishment.

They have plenty of seating and can take care of large catering parties. As is customary, they have a Sunday lunch buffet. We came on a rainy Saturday afternoons and there weren't many patrons dining. We went with the masala chai, mango lassi, lamb kati roll, and a ghee masala dosa with gun powder, upon recommendation. -The masala chai was perfectly blended, with sugar on the side to sweeten to one's liking. -The mango lassi was really good, but a bit thicker than I'd like; good tartness. -Lamb kati roll was really good, larger than expected. The flavours were well balanced and the paratha had a good flake to it. There was A LOT of lamb inside. -The ghee masala dosa was the shining star; it must have been 2.5, if not 3 feet long. The edges were super crispy like a chip, and the masala potato pilling was delicious If I could do it all over again, I'd only eat here and not eat ahead of time, since this was enough food to fill a party of two (maybe add in a samosa or two).
