Kendall & Jennifer are amazing! When it comes to customer service, I don't think the other shops can compare. Kendall knows his stuff and his customer service extends beyond the shop door. I've bought two bikes from Bison. Started out with a hardtail Norco and upgraded to the full suspension Pivot. I love that I can swing by whenever to get the bikes checked out, ask for some riding pointers, or just pick up some new gear and accessories. Plus the prices are the best. As always, thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about this shop. A great husband and wife own and operate. The owner is extremely committed to make sure you have the best experience.

A great selection of bikes and multi-tiered in price

I meant to write this a while back but just kept putting it off…read more I was in Bentonville/Bella Vista for the Oz Trail stage race at the end of May. I was having some shifting issue and could not get the micro-adjust to fix the problem. I ran by the shop and with very short notice the mechanics put the bike in the stand and made the repair. To top it off, after a very muddy first stage, my shock lockout quit working. Once again, Phat tire to the rescue. Those folks in the shop are ON IT! Thanks tons for keeping me rolling!

I've rented from Phat Tire Bella Vista for the past few years after my son moved to NWA. I'm here…read moreat least twice a year. Always had great service. Until this past 3-day rental in April. I rent eMTBs due to being 62 and double knee replacements. I wouldn't be in the sport if were not for electrification. At first, I was happy to rent a brand-new Trek Rail. I'd be the first to ride it. However, to my dismay, I couldn't ride 2.5 miles without the chain popping off. It popped off 3 times. And then the chain broke within 4.0 miles of starting my one and only ride. Also, one cleat on my SPD pedals wasn't able to adjust tension and my shoe would pop out too easy. IMO this bike hadn't been fully ride tested prior to being rented. After I skateboarded my bike back to the parking lot and returned the bike, I was utterly miffed on being charged to replace the chain with a halfhearted apology from the store manager, Adam. I pleaded my case to no avail and was told I should've taken the insurance and "that's how the bike rental business works..." seams like customer Disservice to me. I considered myself a loyal Phat Tire customer. My rant continues: If I purchased a brand-new bike, a broken chain would be covered under warranty, especially with less than 2 hours of use. Also given the fact that the chain kept popping off, the bike needed better tuning. I can't believe I spent more than $400 dollars for a 3-day rental as I did just last November. I certainly did not get my money's worth. In fact, I feel ripped off. Shame on me. I was unable to get on the bike on day one or day two of my 3 day rental due to other time commitments. Rental day 3 didn't get me out on the bike till 4:30 PM. (I was going to pay an $20 overnight fee to ride till 7:00 PM. After the shop closed) More than $400 for less than 1 hour of total ride time. A fancy lawyer doesn't make that an hour. But that's on me due to my scheduling conflicts. Something changed. I don't know what. Maybe corporate Phat Tire sought expansion by partnering or selling to a private equity firm or maybe the team at the Bella Vista shop is overworked, underpaid or just not engaged in customer service. Or maybe it's me and I just had a bad day. I don't feel that if I'm spending $120+ a day for a bike rental that I shoulder have to take extra time from my day/ride to adjust my seat, pedals and fix chains that derail much less have to pay for chain. All I know is I like to ride and when I'm traveling around the US or Canada and I can fit it into my schedule, I'll bring my bike or rent a bike. This has brought me great memories, lots of fun and good health. Not this past time...
