As someone with a lot of dietary restrictions, it can be hard to enjoy foods I used to! But I loved coming here for brunch and found something on the menu that I could eat - gluten free breakfast sandwich instead of an English muffin. The Canadian ham was thick cut and the over medium egg yolk was perfectly cooked and orange. Breakfast potatoes were good too. It looks like it gets busy here on weekends so I recommend coming here at 11 when they open. There is plenty of parking in the lot outside. read more

I came here with a friend around 10 am on a Sunday and we were able to be seated right away. I got the pumpkin spice latte to start and it was fantastic and pretty. We ordered food and a cinnamon roll to split to start with. It seems like our waitress forgot about us though. After ordering we didn't see our waitress again for 35 mins, the tables around us got and finished food before she came back to us. Seems like they forgot to put our order in or something. She brought our food but we had to remind her about the cinnamon roll. We weren't upset, mistakes happen, but it seemed like she should have said something since it took so long. The food was good though, I got the corned beef hash and my friend got the chilaquiles. I took my toddler for a brunch date. Space inside is clean, pretty live edge tables and accommodating for bigger groups. Festive bar area. The POG mimosa sounds delicious!! Next time!! This place is so cute. We came on a Tuesday morning and got sat by the fireplace right away. We ordered a hibiscus mimosa and it was delicious! I ordered eggs Benedict with bacon instead of Canadian bacon. The bacon was pretty floppy, but I forgot to ask for it extra crispy. My husband liked his sandwich. This is a delicious brunch option, both charming and unassuming, great for dates or friends and family dates. Service was super friendly, and even on a weekend, it felt like there was plenty of space for parking and seating inside the restaurant. There are outdoor patio seating options too, if it's a nice day out. I tried the chillaquilles off of the seasonal menu, which was amazingly flavorful and was not soggy at all. The chai latte was one of my favorites that I've tried in the area, just creamy enough and not too sweet, with the right amount of spice. Their scones are quite dense and buttery, which I personally really enjoyed alongside the latte. Portions were very generous, so definitely come hungry or split with others. Bistro 76 is a super cute and popular place in Edmonds. Our group of 4 was lucky to find seating at the bar despite the long waitlist. Be ready to wait for an hour on weekends. The highlight was their bakery goods. I would come back purely to get their banana bread donuts to-go. Unfortunately, service was slow at the bar. cute little brunch spot in edmonds! i really liked the strawberry scone, and it was so good fresh/warm. the flavor was great, just a little too cakey for my preferences. im more used to a crumby english scone, but this was still not bad. the eggs benedict was also pretty good and had a sizeable amount of ham. i think the hollandaise sauce could've been a little bit more smooth though, since it was kind of clumpy (didn't ruin the dish though). the potatoes also had a great smokey flavor, however i wish they were crispy! they were really soft and soggy which was kind of disappointing. read more

It had been about a decade since I last visited the Perrinville area of Edmonds. I was glad that the slushy snow was quick to melt earlier this morning. I was able to keep my anticipated meetup with fellow Shoreliner/Yelper/IGer Carol to Bistro 76 Cafe & Catering. We were seated at a two top with a great view of their pastry case. I liked the pleasant interior with a wide variety of seating available. Some of the decor were kitschy but gave a welcoming neighborhood vibe. I enjoyed the little touches like fresh flowers and homemade freezer jam on the table. Our wait person was very nice and allowed us to redeem our Yelp check-in offers of free homemade pastry. I selected a blueberry coffee cake and Carol selected the ginormous peanut butter chocolate scone. A terrific value of $11 of their freshly baked goods. Carol went for her go-to Eggs Benedict and coffee service. Great service, great convo, amazing baked goods, and tasty entrees! For my first visit, I ordered the Corned Beef Hash ($20) which was a delicious mash up of corned beef hash & eggs benedict. Tasty whole wheat toast with their raspberry freezer jam. Perfectly cooked and seasoned breakfast potatoes with generous succulent corned beef, topped with a pair of perfectly poached eggs. Heavenly hollandaise sauce too. I was so satisfied with my Sunday brunch choice, as I had cleaned my plate. Clearly I had been under a rock, as the server told me they have been in business since 2016. New management with previous experience from a well established organization, it shows they run an efficient restaurant and can deal with high volume onsite and takeout. To start, the exterior of the place definitely looks blended in with the plaza. There isn't much indication of this place being there aside from a sign. Service to get seated was quite quick and throughout our time there, we were taken care of pretty fast. We ordered a vanilla latte and Thai tea for drinks, personal opinion is that the Thai tea is too creamy. For food I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon and my bf ordered the cornbread. Both were just decently okay to us. Nothing special. I would probably have liked my eggs Benedict with no salmon since it was making my whole mouth fishy (I am a sushi lover so it was the kind of fishy you don't like lol). Over all the ambiance and service was amazing. Food, unfortunate, wasn't our cup of tea for a bill of nearly $70+ with tip. Spectacular jam tho! The last time I came here was about a year ago, maybe a year and a half. I got the pnw omelette and it had beaches cheese, bacon, apples, and grilled onions. It was good and I wanted it again recently. Well I went here with my boyfriend last week, and now it includes pork belly. I asked the waitress if I could get it without pork belly and she said, AND I QUOTE, "it's a pre-mix so we actually can't take the pork belly out, sorry"... pre-mix??? What does that even mean? I got it anyways and just hoped it would taste the same, along with a side of herb sausages. My boyfriend got the corned beef hash. Overall, I wouldn't return again. Both of our meals sucked, the pnw omelette was not good anymore which was my only reason for liking this place. I'd say this bistro has now been added to one of my top breakfast places. The service was great and the atmosphere was charming (cute style, clean, comfortable). Taste wise, the highlights included house made berry jam, fresh herb potatoes, and the corned beef. I liked that they offered rye toast and didn't smother it in butter. Next time I want to try the parfait or the scramble or the pork hash - plenty of good menu choices. I also liked that the order was placed and the food was served within a good amount of time --not too fast (we didn't feel rushed) and not too slow (we didn't feel ignored). Is this the Western Seattle Area Declining Service and Quality? I've been coming to Bistro 76 a little over a year. I generally cook breakfast but when i go out I veer toward unique or high quality breakfast places. Trust me, all around they had the best thing going with a great Manager, outstanding bake goods and friendly staff so I thought. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. Our waitress was largely inattentive and we would have to ask for little things that we needed multiple times. She seemed to be talking to a regular throughout our visit at the restaurant. I like the local connection with retirees and everyday customers but as a waitress you need to be able to balance that while serving the other tables that you are responsible for. For these prices, waitresses should be on top of their game while serving your other customers. The food surprised me also on this visit. The PNW Omelette did not taste the same and i had eaten this dish multiple times on previous visits. Even though I verde away from their great potatoes (carbs) with vegetables, these came out soaked in salt. Absolutely un-eatable even though i tried. This place used to be a reliable favorite, but based on this experience, it no longer lives up to the standard it once set. I hope management addresses these issues, as I'd like to see it return to its former quality because I truly think the management and majority of personnel are excellent. read more

Great brunch spot located between Lynnwood and Edmonds. We arrived around 9:30am on a Saturday and were seated right away. Atmosphere was cozy but kind of dark. The menu had a good variety of breakfast classics and some speciality items. They are known for their rice fritters but because I was craving something savory I went for the Cuban hash and just got a side of their rice fritter. Also ordered an Ube Latte. The Cuban hash was delicious! I liked that it came with pickled red onions so that it cut the richness from the pork. The rice fritter was also pretty good as it came topped with jam which tasted homemade. The Ube latte I would say was the most disappointing as it didn't taste like Ube or Coffee. Just kind of milky. As we were leaving more people started coming in and we saw there was a wait so I would recommend coming early! read more

The hum of people enjoying each others company paired with food that hits it out of the ball park every single time makes this a great option for a Sunday brunch. Well I've now tried this place a couple of times and honestly don't know why it averages the ratings it has. The service is friendly, when you can get it, however their host system is abysmal and their overall service level is terrible. You have to ask for coffee refills and water refills. The food is average. Received toast with nothing on it but butter. No jams or preserves offers. Breakfast potatoes were like warm and not crispy. Omelette was average at best. Needed fresh herbs or something. I'm glad other people enjoy this. Between the host (or lack there of), slow service and food, it won't be on my regular rotation of breakfast places. That being said, it seems I'm in the minority, which is why I tried a second time only to be more disappointed than the first. And to finish the meal their tipping options (which you can override) at 20%, 22% and 25%. Apparently they think their service is over the top. read more

we were there right before Christmas for lunch, to celebrate my birthday. it was very crowded, there were 4 of us. After a very long wait, our server took our orders. When my Burger arrived, it was black and not edible i sent it back. My new burger arrived cold as were my potatoes. It was a thin patty and difficult to chew. The other 3 people with me had cold food, as well. Our server was literally running bc it was ao busy and she told us about her exhausting day. Ive been there several times previously and everything was so good. My burgers previously were always fat and juicy and delicious. Three of the 4 of us had stomach problems after leaving. This is a busy little spot that has excellent service accompanied with a real down home feel to this cafe. My only complaint is I wish it was open later so I could come here more than just in the morning or early afternoon. The rice fritters are the favorite here! We got some of those along with some good breakfast dishes - boyfriend got the cuban pork hash (I totally forgot what mine was but it was definitely an omelet!) They have an espresso bar where they make their lattes and drinks and they also have baked goods. The ambience was homey, the servers were very nice and attentive.
