B3 is a quirky thing. Big diner energy encased in corrugated aluminum. Is it modern and edgy or is it homey and classic? It's a weird swirl of both, and that goes for the menu as much as the ambiance. The main thing to know about the food is that portions are massive. You practically can't get anything with fewer than 3 eggs, for example. Everything we ordered was well-cooked and tasty. Their home fries are great: crispy and soft, insisting on comforting you. I had the biscuits and gravy platter. The mushroom gravy looked unappetizing but had a nice veg stew-like flavor. The biscuits were not great: cakey not flakey. But serviceable as a gravy vehicle. The service was fast, attentive, and, in our last experience, thoughtful. I would give the place 3 stars, but efficient service goes a long way these days. We will be back and gladly so.

B3 Breakfast and Burger Bar is a very good breakfast place on 196th, next to Lynnwood Convention center, hotels and restaurants. We visited this place for breakfast. Can not recall how long it has been. Today's experience is really great. Food is really delicious. I ordered the corned beef hash and boy oh boy, it came with 3 any style of eggs, toast and jam. So good, large enough to feed 2. I have a take home for maybe another day of breakfast. It really tasted so fresh. No veggies were overcooked. Really yummy. Service was good. We were often checked how we were doing and if we need any refills or so. Nice place. Very clean. Very welcoming. I will definitely visit this place more often and try other things they offer

We've been here before many years ago, but we were in the area, we had breakfast. We ordered the 3 eggs with fried chicken, gravy and biscuits. The chicken pieces were crispy, while remaining moist inside. The biscuit was huge! If I could nitpick a bit, it could have used a little bit more sausage gravy. She had the Corned Beef hash with 3 eggs and sour dough toast. It seemed like the food vastly improved from the last time we were there. The portions were huge, as well. They tasted good, as well. The hash had a crisp bottom, from browning it on the griddle---something we really love. No complaints for sure. The server was professional and attentive---making sure my coffee cup was full. The place is huge, one big room. Tables and booths spaced comfortably. Service was quick. Great place, highly recommended.

Great place for a casual and tasty lunch or breakfast. The menu has a good selection of breakfast and lunch/dinner options. I ordered the Monte Cristo and the portion size was great, got to take leftovers home, and the bread was phenomenal. Service was friendly and attentive. And the prices are more than reasonable for what you get. Generally breakfast is $15-18 and I got two meals out of my serving. The ambiance is great for an upscale diner aesthetic with restaurant quality service and food.

We stopped at B3 in Lynnwood on a busy Sunday morning while in town for a college graduation. Despite the crowd, we were seated right away, which was a great start to our day. The atmosphere was lively and full of families -- lots of kids around, but all well-behaved, which brought a smile to my face now that my own "kids" are all grown up. Service was efficient, although our waitress was a bit curt and not particularly responsive to small talk or jokes. It didn't impact the service too much, but it did stand out. The food itself was solid. I had the Green Eggs and Ham, which came with a huge biscuit underneath. The eggs and ham were delicious, but the biscuit was dry and really needed some gravy or sauce to tie it together. Others at the table enjoyed omelettes and chicken and waffles, and judging by all the clean plates, everyone left happy and full. Portions were generous, and the coffee kept coming. Overall, B3 is a great spot for a hearty family breakfast, especially if you don't mind a bustling, energetic atmosphere. Good food, big portions, and a family-friendly vibe make it a place worth visiting, just don't expect overly chatty service.

This place is great! The staff is incredibly friendly and the portions are huge and are well priced. The waffle was nice and fluffy and crunchy! The hash was great and the gravy was perfect! Definite will make this a recurring breakfast spot

The place has been our go-to for breakfast! The arrive is always really fast, they can get busy so I recommend someone from your group arriving a little earlier. They have a great menu and are pretty accommodating of allergies. Not too many coffee options.. but a lot of options for mimosa! The bread and jam was a really good addition to our meals.

Enjoyed the eggs Benedict and fried pickles. Portions are huge! So be careful. Bacon Bloody Mary was good. Friendly, energetic staff and I witnessed great team work.

What can I say this is my new obsession. I went for the first time for my birthday and again the following weekend because I needed more. I like their service. It was fast and friendly. Their portions are huge. We had left overs both times and I can eat so that's saying something. I love their take on hash browns. The potatoes are almost cut like chips instead of shredded. 10/10

This server, brown wavy hair past his ears and dark mustache took our orders and never came back. When we were ready for the check he was busy talking to someone unrelated to food orders or food..period! He didn't care to look over. Then I asked the host for our check. She tried helping but could not print our check because she was not the server. She then walked over to get his attention discretely, no such luck, he kept on talking. A few more minutes, I asked her if she was getting me the check, she explained that she could not. So i waited, I think he glanced over and back to jabbing. Then the host had to go get help from the someone that could override and allowed her to print. horrible service this second time..not sure I want to take a chance on bad services again. the place was not busy at that time so busyness cannot be a reason. And, he was not working, he spent that time talking.

We did get seated very quickly for having no reservations and the blonde lady who greeted us seemed really nice. But when we were sat it went down from there, service was slow, I can't tell if it was because we were young or weren't dressed up enough. And I don't want to get stuck on this point because I know all restaurants work differently when it comes to their sections but we watched as our waiter sat a whole other table, greeted them, and got their drink orders before even approaching us. After we were sat for over 15 minutes. Then we ordered matcha's because a guy by us had one and it looked so good. It was given to us with chunks, meaning they didn't prepare it properly and still decided to serve it to us. We weren't given any water refills until 40 minutes of sitting down even though we had both finished our waters before we even ordered our matchas. The food was delicious and was served quickly. And the girl who served it to us wasn't our waiter but gave us more energy and excitement than our original server did. I still tipped the waitress well because I don't want to hold the stereotype of being a young unappreciative customer. But I dont think it was really deserved, in the nicest way possible. We weren't only there for the food, we wanted to have a nice atmosphere with good service and I feel as though we didn't get the latter.

The food was fine, but the overall experience was disappointing. The restaurant was extremely loud and felt very chaotic. Given the menu prices, we didn't expect to be seated so tightly between other groups that it felt like we were practically dining on top of each other. We could barely hear each other throughout the meal because another table was just inches away, and servers had to squeeze between the tables to take orders. When we were seated, I asked if we could move to an empty table nearby. The hostess explained that they typically don't seat two people at a four-top, which would have been understandable, except that one of the tables right next to us remained occupied by only two people for our entire meal. I wasn't looking for a special table--just a little more space to enjoy a conversation with my husband. We also had a reservation, so I expected the seating experience to be a bit more thoughtful. The food was perfectly fine, but the atmosphere and seating arrangement made it difficult to enjoy our date night. Overall, it felt like an overpromise-and-underdeliver experience, especially for the price point.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.
