Went here on a whim and did not expect to spend $56 for two people Sad part is we paid $15 for one French toast, when I asked the waiter about it she said it was one piece of bread cut into two, therefore two slices. We came here for lunch on a Friday. The staff were friendly and attentive. I came specifically to try the gluten-free toasts. They were smaller than the regular toasts, which made sense since they didn't rise as soft and large as the regular ones. The portions were generous, and the eggs and potatoes were delicious! I recently saw a social media influencer review B3 and make it look really good, so naturally I had to give it a try. I fear he may have lied to us. Full disclosure: this was a delivery order, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself or the staff, who I'm sure are lovely. My issue was strictly with the food. I ordered the biscuits and gravy with three eggs over medium. The eggs were actually cooked perfectly -- genuinely, no notes. The biscuit was very thick and dense, and I personally didn't enjoy the texture of the bacon mixed into the gravy. Although those components didn't knock my socks off, None of them were so offensive that I'd be inclined to warn others. That's where the homestyle potatoes come in. I mean this with all due respect: whoever made these potatoes deserves jail time. They were bland, oily, soggy and STALE. They looked and tasted like they had been fried three days ago, refrigerated, and then microwaved for a minute before being sent out. I genuinely could not eat them. Maybe this was an off day, and delivery certainly doesn't do every breakfast food justice, but unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've had in a while. B3 is a quirky thing. Big diner energy encased in corrugated aluminum. Is it modern and edgy or is it homey and classic? It's a weird swirl of both, and that goes for the menu as much as the ambiance. The main thing to know about the food is that portions are massive. You practically can't get anything with fewer than 3 eggs, for example. Everything we ordered was well-cooked and tasty. Their home fries are great: crispy and soft, insisting on comforting you. I had the biscuits and gravy platter. The mushroom gravy looked unappetizing but had a nice veg stew-like flavor. The biscuits were not great: cakey not flakey. But serviceable as a gravy vehicle. The service was fast, attentive, and, in our last experience, thoughtful. I would give the place 3 stars, but efficient service goes a long way these days. We will be back and gladly so. read more

We've been here before many years ago, but we were in the area, we had breakfast. We ordered the 3 eggs with fried chicken, gravy and biscuits. The chicken pieces were crispy, while remaining moist inside. The biscuit was huge! If I could nitpick a bit, it could have used a little bit more sausage gravy. She had the Corned Beef hash with 3 eggs and sour dough toast. It seemed like the food vastly improved from the last time we were there. The portions were huge, as well. They tasted good, as well. We've found one or two things on the menu that weren't our favorites, but most of their food is somewhere between wonderful and awesome. High on our list, the Incredible Hash and Home Fries Dream. Several of the burgers are delish, too. I've heard the Eggs Benedict are good, but I found the sauce too rich for my taste. The home made biscuits are huge and very good. Omelets are also large and tasty. There is much on the menu we still have yet to try. They've had their challenges, as everyone else, with the lockdowns and subsequent staff shortages. I'm very impressed (and thankful) that they've kept the business running and maintained their prices, quality and service -- although their operating hours may be permanently shortened due to staff shortages. On our most recent trip, in Oct. 2023, service was okay, but perhaps not as good as it usually is. Usually, their service is very good. The restaurant is very clean and kept that way. Came here with my partner after a mini vacation in the forest. I had the veggie bowl and it was huge, very yummy, comforting and had enough to take home for leftovers. Partner had the smash burger with jelly, bacon, and cheese and he said it was a really good burger. The place was crowded but still get service and food decently quick. My partner dropped me off to put down our name while he waited for a spot to open up. I was seated in ~5 minutes and he came in a little after. The seating was a bit crowded - 1 open room with lots of tables. He got a coffee that he says was below average diner coffee. The migas was disappointing - we aren't sure there were tortillas and the red onion was extremely raw and extremely heavy. It's all we could taste. Home fries were fine after some salt. The service was quick and waitresses were nice. I was charged the wrong bill but it was resolved without issue; always double check.
