Another employee took my plate and set it aside, and the server threw it away. No offer to rectify the situation in any way, just a shrug with an apology without accountability and out the door we went. There were only two other people in the dining room, no one was waiting in the lounge for a table, and we had been very quiet and not in the least way demanding. I had been scoping this as a potential venue for my board of directors dinner as well as for when I have house guests. Sadly, this one is off the list. I would be so embarrassed to have guests treated this way. One good callout: three of the five entrées offered were vegetarian and the salads were huge.

The interior decor is more like a cozy (but slightly modern) mountain house library (an atmosphere you might expect in a hip Brooklyn bar), and it's very inviting! And the bartender and servers are amazing and really friendly. As for food, we didn't try any on the first visit, but we ended up going back to Main Mountain on our last night of the trip b/c we found out that, on Sundays, they host a burger night!
