The dinner menu is good selection of appetizers, small plates, and large plates, and should have something for most every taste. The lobster seafood risotto was excellent, creamy and a great portion size. I had the vegan risotto to try a new taste, though the farro and grains were not creamy nor soft as I'd have expected for a risotto dish. I finished off a half portion of the braised short ribs and gnocchi, excellent taste and portion size. At our table, the taco small plate looked great but I couldn't fit in even the one left for me. The service was excellent, at the table and the bar, with good selections of bourbons and beers though I opted for a Compari and soda when I saw the Compari bottle on the bar in front of me. Parking was surprising available on-street. I suspect it get extremely busy, with Dartmouth across the street, and the shopping nearby. Dartmouth at night is awesome from the restaurant, by the way, as is the spacious modern ambiance around the fireplace and bar.

Very classy ambiance. It was so packed we had to sit at the bar. The salmon was bland, i had to put a lot of salt and pepper on it. Burger was good though.

Another fantastic dinner at Pine. Attention to detail at every turn, service was phenomenal. A Dartmouth must!

The decor is modern and the dining room is clean. The stuff is attentive to a point. It's located very close to the college on the Main Street. Parking isn't easy especially during the summer season. The food is not what I expected. It's basic with a high price tag. The steak was precut... odd like you would for a young child. I asked the waitress why and she said it was the way they always served it to help dinners finish their meal faster... Why would a dinner want their food precut & why would the restaurant want their dinners to leave fast was not clear to me. It looked like the chef added one piece at a time to the plate to make up a full portion and not like a whole steak was cut into strips. There was a very generous amount of frites with a truffle flavoring but nearly no sauce as per the description on the menu. We eat and left fast!

Birthday din! Amazing food as always -- braised short rib in creamy polenta so fancy. Brian had salmon which was perfectly crispy and sweet. Yum. Just a lil pricey, but a good splurge Brunch with Brian's fam-- 8/10 breakfast Sammie. Potatoes were so delish and I was hungry. Company 11/10, service impeccable.

Absolutely love this restaurant! Indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking. On Dartmouth college campus. The decor is clean and elegant but yet trendy. Casual wear appropriate or dress up for a special night out. This spot blows away the local competition. We had an amazing culinary experience. One con, which was odd, was that the rolls we served cold. They were wrapped in a nice napkin as if heat was being preserved. Fresh, warm rolls would of been lovely or roll served w oil and herbs. We had the octupus app that was amazing. All pasta is made fresh here so we tried the tortellini. Very yummy. I had the salmon roulade. Portion was perfect and left me with some to take home. Speciality cocktails were perfectly concocted and truth be told I could of just sat there all night trying them all. Price point for (food and beverages) at this upscale location was not unreasonable at all, in fact, you will find less quality and increased prices at a local restaurant down the road. We finished with their homemade ice cream and strawberry/rhubarb cheesecake. I work nearby and intend on coming here often. They also serve brunch and that will be my next adventure.

Unserviced table after bill was picked up.

Our hostess and later server, Leona, answered the phone and was extremely pleasant in letting us know she could get us seated. Leona recommended the Brussels and they did not disappoint with a perfect combo of roasted small Brussel sprouts with crispy prosciutto, goat cheese mousse and pickled red onions. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.

I found it impossible to find this burrito bowl hidden lunch spot in Hanover, NH reviews until …read more.. I found and entered the name of the restaurant in a web search. The burrito bowl-style menu is similar to a Chipotle offering but without the big franchise ownership attached. There are 3 locations, total, at time of reviewing. The prices are on the higher side but I believe it is because of the quality of the ingredients. The ingredients do taste absolutely fresh and it's a B Corp. So, they pay their employees $15 p/h, use bamboo bowls, naturally-raised meats and organic tofu and have certain causes which they support. Walking in, I immediately smelled a seasoning that I'm not used to smelling when I walk into a Mexican-based restaurant. I thought it might be cumin, but the chef said while they do use cumin, it's only in one recipe. I guess I smelled something like chili seasonings instead of the smell of roasted meats, so maybe they were preparing a sauce, or something. I really liked how friendly the employees were and the layout of the restaurant. The crew were helpful. The row of two booths is only for thin or small customers. I couldn't feel comfortable in one of those booths - no room - so we moved to the booths along the wall. I loved the artwork on the long wall! It was gorgeous and nice to know they support a local artist. I asked about what the BCorp aspect of the business supported and the employee told me she wasn't sure but to look on the back wall. I was too distracted by the gorgeous and colorful artwork to get back to the wall to eventually find out what the missions of the B-corp were. I also looked on the website for what their cause, but on a quick peruse, I couldn't find anything. Feel free to leave comments on this to help I and others, please. :) Things to make sure to try while you are here: the chocolate chip cookies, the mango salsa, the brown rice with cilantro and the nacho chips. The rice, especially, was good because it wasn't too brown and earthy. The guac had a vinegar flavor, which might be a regional New England style of prep here, since I've tasted that vinegar flavor in my guacamole before at another place. It's like those here up north like their guac tart with tang, but I'm not sure. I prefer just a slight lime taste. I tried the Teriyaki OG bowl. This is roasted broccoli, roasted carrots, caramelized onions, teriyaki sauce and rice. My advice: do get the teriyaki sauce on the side, or get it reduced in the amount of sauce they offer. The sauce was overpowering and had a less-than-homemade taste to it. The carrots are strongly and freshly marinated, which was a tasty surprise and would be good without swimming in the sauce. We got tofu added to our bowl and that was good. I did end up ordering another side of $3 rice after the fact to balance out the amount of sauce flavoring to it, however, instead of complaining about "my bowl was smothered in sauce." We also got the Summer Bowl with black beans, melted cheese, mango salsa and brown rice with cilantro. I don't recall any melted cheese flavor, but maybe it was the cojita. Loved the mango sauce: it tasted fresh and homemade. You can pick any protein. The grilled chicken was fine. I wonder what the carnitas taste like. Guessing the flavor is traditional. I also did not try the Magic Loco Sauce, but it sounds intriguing, for sure. Boloco bills itself as Modern Mexican, and since I don't know about what makes it modern, I wonder if it's basically the sauces and seasonings vs. the cooking preparation since the offering is basically a burrito and burrito bowl shop. I found a bottled green chili siracha on the table made in China, yet it tasted like a nice Thai sauce instead of a garlicky hot sauce. This hot sauce was not at all the flavor I was expecting because it was more velvety hot on the taste buds than crisp and spicy. (It's interesting that this sauce is made in China given that Siracha originated in Thailand.) So, if you want a Thai flavor at Boloco, and aren't going to dine at the nearby TukTuk Thai restaurant for the real deal, order the Boloco OG Bowl with no sauce and use a bit of the Green Siracha hot sauce on the table, to your liking. I loved that there was also a Tabasco brand Siracha - made stateside - on the table, as well. Didn't try it out of this trip. The nacho chips are delicious! They are not too course, sturdy and salty. Get the chocolate chip cookies because they are very good. Homemade and tasty. And they looked homemade, as well, which made them charming. Also, I got the bottled Coke vs. the Mexican bottle of Coke. Usually the bottles from Mexico are a bit more hyped. My bottled soda was energizing which is probably excellent for students. Finally, I loved that after eating this meal that I had energy, instead of feeling sluggish. This is credited to a campus restaurant which decides to offer a higher-end version of a Chipotle with B-Corp values.
