Excellent food! Our family of five had two different pizzas (prosciutto & burrata), carbonara, spaghetti marinara, and tortellini. For dessert we shared a tiramisu. One of the best meals we have shared in a long while. It even passed the test of our student from Milan. Highly recommended! And no, this is not fast food. Chicken Piccata dry, not buttery or lemony-had to ask for extra lemons. Menu way over priced, mussels $36, compare to 240 Union Restaurant at $17. $15 for an average glass of Chianti. Very limited menu that doesn't seem to change. No specials on a Saturday nite. Skip this place, over priced, average to lesser quality. We paired a bottle of Parducci Pino Noir with the meal and the wine was just lovely. Atmosphere - modern and elegant. The New York Times Square art legend Chris Kreig has his beautiful art in the restaurant. Just stunning. This is a family business with owner JR Iannaccone at the helm and daughter Violet as the Chef extraordinaire. This restaurant is an Evergreen Gem. Tried this place for the first time on Halloween. Loved it! The food and service (Carrie was wonderful!) excellent! My husband and I enjoyed an appetizer, pizza and dessert (pumpkin tiramisu to die for!) I had 2 glasses of wine and my husband had one cocktail. All this and bill only came to $104. This place is horrible. We had a reservation at 6p, and the food wasn't served until after 8p. When the food did come out the ravioli was cold and the carbonara tasted like water. This is the type of hidden gem that I love to find for an exquisite and relaxing meal. Take your time, order a bottle of wine and pace yourself. The food was outstanding, the service felt homey and inviting. We started with the crostini and oil, had the whipped ricotta appetizer, shared a grilled Caesar salad with chicken, and each got a pasta dish with a side of meatballs for the table. The food was good, when it finally arrived. the menu is... eclectic. Alas, the service can only be described as horrendous. we waited over an hour for bread - with 2 kids ravenous. Amazing food! We went on a Saturday night early evening, which was a good choice because they get full. Service is fine dining speed so if you're expecting things to be quick, it ain't gonna happen. Dined there 6/1/2024. Overall, the food was good, especially the appetizers like the burrata! However, service was slow and live music was terrible!! My friends and I were very unhappy that a one-man-band ruined our evening with his amplified saxophone and pre-recorded music. It was so loud!! We couldn't have a conversation! My friend asked the waiter if the musician could turn down his amplifier. The waiter made some excuse why he couldn't. Why do we tolerate such loud music? It's not "cool" to say anything? My ears are still ringing.... and then smoke started billowing from the kitchen. Not sure what they were burning. A friend thought they may have been cleaning the grill. Colorado Native here. Had a reservation. Sat down and got delayed service from the start. Finally ordered an appetizer and bottle of wine. Sat there for another 15 minutes and got a dinner order in. Over an hour later. No food. Nothing. No service. Finally they made a bunch of excuses about the kitchen. Others around us had their food. They screwed up and couldn't admit it. Pretty pathetic. Paid for the wine and left. Not impressed. Too bad as this area needs good restaurants. This isn't one. read more

It was good but I expected a bit more. The food was good, the service was ok and the atmosphere was basic. The charcuterie board was large and had several flavors; we went big here. Caprese salad was under-whelming. Lobster ravioli was, I dunno, dry. The bread and oil was fantastic. Friends who live in Evergreen liked it better than a local competitor. I have to admit that the waiter's inability to remember / record our cocktail order caused me to question whether he was hard of hearing, stoned or both...even though we repeated the order, they managed to bring something that was nowhere near a Negroni. My wife and I were driving through Evergreen looking for a place to eat but all the restaurants were packed so we stopped to get take out from the Chinese restaurant. As we were waiting, we walked past Bistro Del Lago and were immediately drawn in by the bright and friendly space. We did not know that this restaurant was even open as we never saw any advertisements for it. We put the takeout in the car, grabbed a table and decided to eat dinner at Bistro Del Lago. We were not disappointed as the food was excellent. We shared the burrata for an appetizer and I had the chicken Parm and she had the ravioli dinner. The raviolis were home made and the sauce was just like moms. The chicken was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The wine selection was good and we enjoyed two classes of Pinot. We both grew up outside the Philadelphia area and are familiar with Italian food from that area of the country. It turns out that owner is from Jersey City, a few hour drive from Philadelphia. While I hate to give a great review because Bistro Del Lago will also be packed very soon, the restaurant deserves 5 stars. Best Italian food we've had since moving to Colorado 5 years ago. Quirky art, cool vibe, nice service. Upscale food, but casual comfortable environment. We had a charcuterie board, and angel hair pasta with meatballs and marinara that were all nicely presented, and all clearly made fresh in house. We will be going back again for sure. read more

We went here for dinner tonight. The place is just downright weird. Think cowboy hats for waiters and bartenders and country music coupled with an overpriced mediocre Italian menu. I can get my head around that in a bar or pub for burgers but this menu is ridiculously overpriced. On a Saturday night we were one of three tables. Service was okay but loud and so is the music. The decor is snake eyes or elephants mixed with pop art and weird paintings. Had the pesto tortellini with chicken. Chicken was really dry and pesto was flavorless. Parents had spaghetti with meatballs for about $25, amy dish was about 23 plus $10 for chicken. I tried three glasses of wine that were awful and settled on a bland Pinot Grigio. A table of ten sat down when we were leaving and all walked out complaining about a $23 salad. I agree. Won't return. read more

Was really excited to dine here but it was bad experience from the beginning. Sat at a table and no one came to check on us. The waiter did apologize and we ordered. It took 40 minutes to get our appetizer. Again did not check on us. But the mussels were good but small. Then the main course came out. There was a error with what we ordered. The pizza was undercooked and soggy. The lobster ravioli was good. They blamed the wrong food coming out on us. Never checked on us. Our drinks were empty before the main course and never asked if we wanted more. Had to flag down the waiter to order everything we wanted. Really disappointing and the majority of the food was mediocre. read more
