At the foot of Red Rocks finding a place to rest your bones and cool off is easy in downtown Morrison. Colorado is comfy even on a hot summers day at Tony Rigatonis! After hiking all around the area stop by for a local brewed beverage and some good food! This restaurant has many seating options rooftop or under the canopy of a large tree overlooking town! I stopped in after 7 miles on foot and chose the lunch Brussels sprout salad and it was fresh and tasty with pistachios and cranberries! My lunch mate was impressed with the $14 lunch special which is a house salad and 8", two topping pizza. Prices are not cheap but the food is always fresh and delicious! See menu photos.

Ok so the first Italian spot my group went to wasn't what we were looking for so we found this spot, and man I'm glad we did!! Such an inviting atmosphere. The service was friendly, and pretty good. Pretty small issues but it was handled so, thank you! We went a couple hours before closing, so plenty of time but the started wrapping up early. It was a little frustrating we were told oh the bartenders left before 8 so we couldn't get change or more beverages. Everyone loved the food. I had a couple apps for my meal and they were goood. I had the mozzarella burrata and meatballs, they were so good! I had another order of meatballs because they were just so good! The sauce was top notch!

We went on a Thursday night. Got sat immediately for a party of 4. Their outdoor seating & patio is great. Service was incredibly slow. It took 10+ minutes to get any sort of drink (water, glass of wine). The food, both main meals & appetizers, felt like it took forever to come out. We ended up being there for about 2 hours total which was not our intention. The salmon salad was extremely over dressed & the salmon was over cooked but lacked flavor. The burrata was yummy but it only came with 3 pieces of bread when we had 4 people; when we requested extra bread our server was accommodating but it also took 10+ minutes to get. The gnocchi was quite good as well but only came with a few bites of mozzarella.

This was much better than I had expected. The mussels were excellent- just the right amount of spice in a chunky tomato sauce. Bread and spoons were used to get every bit of that sauce. The shrimp were a nice addition, but I lovedcthe mussels. The antipasto was much more generous than expected. There were 2 cheeses (parmesan and provolone?), 3 meats (prosciutto, mortadella and a thickly cut salami-type sausage), cherry peppers, fig jam, giardinara, olives, and (my favorite) taralli). Our server was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the food. We were the only people eating indoors when we were seated. A different served soon seated a couple with a toddler and baby next to us. Annoying when there were so many empty tables.

Ate on the patio Sat night for dinner. Food was average for Italian and the server could have been more attentive and not rushed. Overall not a bad meal. Just wish the spaghetti sauce tasted more authentic.

We have been to Denver several times and every chance we get to stop by Tony Rig's - we do it. Everything I've eaten here is 10/10. Typically, I order the chicken parm and get an appetizer to split with the table. To end the meal, a nice glass of wine and some tiramisu. The service is what you'd expect from a family owned, neighborhood stop. Everyone is very kind and attentive to your needs but with a personal touch. I've never had a server I didn't like. The food takes a bit longer than you'd expect sometimes but that's because perfection takes time. Order an appetizer, drink a glass or two of wine and enjoy the company of your loved ones you're dining with. The evening will be worth it - I promise. It's a cozy spot and has very accessible parking on the streets nearby. It's very close to Red Rocks Amphitheater, so be sure to hit this place up before you go see your next Phish concert in the rocks! See you again soon, Tony

11/10 service, food and drinks are incredible! They even offered my dog a meatball on a plate (he loved it of course)!

I will admit I'm biased. If you make a good gnocchi or pesto, I'm sold. Tony Rigatoni does both. And more. They have excellent parking, a great variety of seating, crazy large portions - with excellent quality - and an A++ staff. Meagan was a delight and perfect guide through the menu as I picked out my meal. If they were in LoDo, or Cherry Creek, it would cost twice as much, and you would get half the serving. This place is a must-try. Just make sure you bring your appetite and a large group.

I love this little town that Tony's is located in! Definitely consider this place before hitting Red Rocks for a show, or for celebrating a birthday like we did! Just a heads up to anyone who comes here for the first time, the building hosts 2 restaurants! So when you walk in, don't go up the stairs, instead turn to your right :) Anyone a calzone fan? Try theirs out! It's HUGE and can be shared between 2 people, or it's just as delicious when you take home leftovers and throw it in the air fryer. The Alfredo was good and so was the Burrata salad! Service was great! And the ambiance was nice and relaxing. Unfortunately the patio was closed due to the rain, but if you get a chance to sit outside the ambiance out there is like "when in Rome". The lunch menu runs from 11am-4pm If it's your birthday, let them know for a taste of a slice of cake of your choice! :)

After a nice hike at the Red Rocks, I like to stop and frequent Morrison for a bite to eat. Tony Rigatoni's has been in Morrison for decades, so I thought, let's try here! Walking in the door I was greeted with delicious smells and friendly hosts. We were sat right away. My friend had the Burrata salad with Salmon and a nice Chianti. I had the Gorgonzola Gnocchi with a side of garlic bread with pepperoni and a nice wine from Argentina. Both dishes were delicious. One of the owners, Rezza, stopped by to check in on us, and treated us to dessert! I had the tiramisu and my friend had lemon cello cake. What a treat! There is a reason this restaurant has been so successful in Morrison. Come experience it for yourself!

This place had a rooftop in an aesthetic valley. They did have some portable heaters for the chillier times, but frankly we got a bit shorted on that and I was shivering by the end. Their menu was surprisingly small but held some excellent options. Garlic bread was absurdly large but delivered on flavor, and a burrata salad offered and excellent mix of flavors and textures. Vegetarian options were some, but vegan not. Service was quite slow, which is part of the reason I ended up staying out in a night that I wasn't quite dressed for. The place struck me as an adequate one trading on location, and it definitely is an area worth visiting.

When I ordered it the server asked, "Have you had this salad here before?" To which I answered no. He shared that the salad does not come with lettuce, it comes just as it says on the menu: apples, cheese, chives. Okay. It sounds delicious to me. Now I want to create this at home! Also ordered at our table: Grilled Cheese and tomato soup and Steak Frites. All were given two thumbs up! We would definitely come back here when in the area.

The unquestionable star of the show was the barchetta- it was a big piece of their crust, stuffed with ricotta cheese, spinach, mozzarella, and garlic. I could have eaten this for breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of my life. It came with marinara sauce but it was totally unnecessary. The Italian margarita also had a strong rosemary flavor that was interesting and different with the sweetness of the margarita flavors. The martini was excellent too. The montepulciano wine was a bit dry but totally drinkable. The saporita pizza didn't come with cheese, which we thought was just... standard on pizza? If the sauce and the crust weren't so stellar, it would have been an issue, as it was it was fine but worth noting. It looks like we could have added cheese had we asked. Our server was sweet, upbeat, and checked in the perfect amount of times. I really adored the use of wine bottles throughout, especially at the bar. So pretty and right on target for a wine bar. Highly highly recommend, and will be back to try the rest of the menu.

The vibe is classic cozy steakhouse--dim lighting, comfortable booths, good for a casual night out. We kicked off with the shrimp cocktail, which was good: decent-sized chilled shrimp with a tangy cocktail sauce. Asked for extra raw horseradish to really make it pop! The new bread offering was much better. Super-soft sweet rolls were an upgrade over the previous offering. For mains, we tried the ribsteak (bone-in) and the sirloin with mushrooms and truffle from the Winter Grill menu. Both were cooked to our requested temps (medium-rare), juicy enough, and the grilling was competent with a nice char. The ribsteak came with sautéed mushrooms that added some nice flavor. The sirloin featured cremini and shiitake mushrooms in a creamy truffle sauce, which was rich and indulgent--the sauce was probably the best part of the plate. That said, the quality of the meat itself felt a bit questionable; it was tender but lacked the deep, beefy flavor or marbling you'd hope for at this price point. More disappointingly, there wasn't much discernible difference between the ribsteak and the sirloin in terms of taste or texture--both felt pretty similar, which made the higher-priced ribsteak seem less worth it. We finished with the Billy Miner Pie, a classic here: mocha ice cream on chocolate cookie crust, topped with hot fudge and caramel. It's rich and satisfying--definitely a highlight of the meal. Our server was friendly and efficient, no complaints there, and the place wasn't overly busy. Overall, it's a reliable chain steakhouse option if you're in the area--good enough for what it is, but the main reason we come here is proximity. Solid, but room for improvement on the star of the show: the steaks.

I've actually been here a handful of times before, but always stuck to the pizza and pasta (which are great). I honestly can't believe I overlooked the sandwiches for this long. I went with the chicken parm sandwich and it was outstanding--crispy, perfectly breaded chicken, rich marinara, and just the right amount of melted cheese on fresh bread that holds everything together without getting soggy. Easily one of the best chicken parms I've had around here. I reluctantly traded half for the sausage and peppers sandwich, and honestly... it was just as good. The sausage had great flavor and snap, the peppers were cooked perfectly, and everything tasted fresh and well-balanced. It's rare you order two different sandwiches and can't decide which one you liked more, but that was the case here. One of the sneaky best deals: you can add a cup of soup for just $2. I tried the rustic sausage and potato soup and it was excellent--hearty, flavorful, and felt homemade in the best way. What stood out beyond the food is how consistent everything felt with what others say: high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and that authentic, no-frills Italian deli vibe. They were pretty busy at around 5:30 on a Saturday evening and we were lucky enough to snag a table since they also take reservations and some were being held. The service was great, she gave us her recommendations and was very very patient while we all decided what plates to share. They give you some small plain bread knots when you sit down and had no problem, giving us a refill, even a side of marinara sauce for dipping when we asked. We started with the Caprese appetizer, which was fresh and delicious lightly, garnished with the balsamic glaze that sets the flavor off, not too overpowering. We shared three different pastas - the penne rustica, the shrimp and artichoke, and the pesto tortellini. The rustica was definitely the best, it had such a depth of flavor, and the sauce was a perfect rosé of creamy tomato, with the vegetables helping set off the textures and flavors even more. The other two pastas were good, but I wouldn't prioritize ordering them again, the pesto tortellini was so rich and creamy, but lacked any pesto flavor, which was surprising since it was vivid and green, and so visually appealing. The shrimp and artichoke was good, but didn't allow me, I felt like the artichoke needed more seasoning or something to bring it out a little in the sauce and pasta mix. The owner Nancy was such a sweetheart. She was so attentive and came over to us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Next time I'll be trying the Bolognese :)
