I've been coming here since moving here. So over the past 11 years I've brought my family, friends here for their cooking glasses and fabulous brunches! We always have a great time and the food transports you to France! Always great and helpful staff! I miss their original location but this place has charm and a more intimate space! I have pictures from the Father's Day brunch! My dad greatly enjoyed his brunch and trying all the different choices!

I saw someone gave a bad review and truly felt it was unwarranted. I had the Dover sole and my daughter had the chicken piccata and both were delicious! On top of that they accommodated a special request. It's a beautiful little spot that I will come back to whenever I'm in Naples.

Saturday morning doesn't disappoint.... Such lovely selections of pastry. Cinnamon rolls sell out early.... But the quiche, apple turnover, butter croissant, and did I mention the warm (WARM) chocolate croissant. o.m.g. What a lovely little find.

We often drive through Naples and have wanted to try the bistro and was finally able to Saturday morning. What a gem, great food, beautiful ambiance and service is friendly and attentive. The hours are often seasonal so refer to their website. We were lucky they were having their outdoor bake sale Saturday from 9-1 and were able to enjoy breakfast inside as well as take home their amazing baked goods. The quiche was one of the best I've ever had. Flaky and buttery, what a treat. The breakfast bagel platter with smoke salmon, capers and accompaniments tasted incredibly fresh. The baguette and croissants extremely fresh and delicious. We would definitely return and recommend this hidden gem!

Had lunch here on a Saturday. The place is quaint and has a bakery at the back of restaurant. We ordered croque madame and mahi mahi special. Both were exquisite. Server was attentive despite having a few tables to take care of. For dessert we had triple chocolate mousse which was amazing! We will definitely be back!

A gem a few minutes away from Fifth. Wonderful service and great outdoor seating. I had a rose and the goat cheese, onion confit crepe, with salad. Flavors and presentation were lovely and I'll definitely be back!

We stopped in just before they shut down for break and picked up several pastries and a loaf. Everything we had was delicious.

A quick search on Yelp, and this bakery came up as the most recommended for breakfast. We arrived very early, it was 9AM on a Sunday and they had just opened. The place is in a small strip mall and has a couple of chairs outside as well. Inside it is pretty small, but you can immediately smell only good stuff of coffee, empanadas and other baked goods. We were hungry so ordered some beef and chicken empanadas , and guava patty's and instantly we were hooked. The food is so tasteful, seems so fresh and was much more impressive than other empanadas I have tried elsewhere. I went back in and ordered several more empanadas for our trip and even wanted to ship some back home, before my daughter asked me to settle down a bit. If you are in the area, this is a must visit place. Like my daughter later said "I will go to Ft. Myers again, just to visit Silva's"

With very limited seating inside the store, we were lucky to find a table in the hallway of the building. I like the sandwich a lot. 5+ Star Review for Mercato Italiano…read more From the moment you walk into Mercato Italiano, you know you have found something special. This is not just a café. It is an experience that brings authentic Italian flavor and warmth right into the heart of Naples. Let me start with the espresso. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality in every sip. It had that true Italian profile, bold but never bitter, and it set the tone for everything that followed. Now the food. I ordered a croissant sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The croissant itself was fresh out of the oven, light, flaky, and buttery in all the right ways. Inside, I had two sunny-side-up eggs cooked just right, paired with prosciutto, bacon, and ham. The combination of flavors was incredible. Every bite gave you a perfect mix of savory, rich, and slightly salty notes, all brought together by that warm, delicate croissant. What really stood out was the presentation. This was not just a sandwich thrown on a plate. It was carefully arranged on a platter, clean, inviting, and done with pride. You can tell they care about every detail. The atmosphere completes the experience. The energy inside is welcoming, relaxed, and full of character. It feels like a place where people come not just to eat, but to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment. Whether you are stopping in for a quick espresso or sitting down for a full breakfast, the environment makes you want to stay. The experience was outstanding along with the service that made you feel like Family. If you are anywhere near Naples, this is a must-visit. Mercato Italiano delivers on flavor, presentation, and experience at the highest level. This is easily a 5-plus star spot, and a place I will return to again without hesitation.
