    Duck a la'orange

We celebrated our 42nd anniversary here with a nice dinner. The service was impeccable. The bread was delicious, I'd go back just for that. The ambiance was very nice, quaint. I had the Duck a la Orange and it was delicious. My wife had the Beef Bourguignon. It was rich and delicious. Definitely worth the cost and quality of food and service.

I've been coming here since moving here. So over the past 11 years I've brought my family, friends here for their cooking glasses and fabulous brunches! We always have a great time and the food transports you to France! Always great and helpful staff! I miss their original location but this place has charm and a more intimate space! I have pictures from the Father's Day brunch! My dad greatly enjoyed his brunch and trying all the different choices!

I saw someone gave a bad review and truly felt it was unwarranted. I had the Dover sole and my daughter had the chicken piccata and both were delicious! On top of that they accommodated a special request. It's a beautiful little spot that I will come back to whenever I'm in Naples.

Saturday morning doesn't disappoint.... Such lovely selections of pastry. Cinnamon rolls sell out early.... But the quiche, apple turnover, butter croissant, and did I mention the warm (WARM) chocolate croissant. o.m.g. What a lovely little find.

We often drive through Naples and have wanted to try the bistro and was finally able to Saturday morning. What a gem, great food, beautiful ambiance and service is friendly and attentive. The hours are often seasonal so refer to their website. We were lucky they were having their outdoor bake sale Saturday from 9-1 and were able to enjoy breakfast inside as well as take home their amazing baked goods. The quiche was one of the best I've ever had. Flaky and buttery, what a treat. The breakfast bagel platter with smoke salmon, capers and accompaniments tasted incredibly fresh. The baguette and croissants extremely fresh and delicious. We would definitely return and recommend this hidden gem!

Had lunch here on a Saturday. The place is quaint and has a bakery at the back of restaurant. We ordered croque madame and mahi mahi special. Both were exquisite. Server was attentive despite having a few tables to take care of. For dessert we had triple chocolate mousse which was amazing! We will definitely be back!

I hosted a party of four very experienced diners for my wife's 77th birthday. We all wanted to order appetizers and take a little time to enjoy two bottles of French Champagne while we discussed the entrees. Sound ok so far? We were told we could not order appetizers unless we ordered dinner at the same time... house rules! We were not happy but we did not want to spoil wife's birthday so we reluctantly capitulated. Ten minutes later the manager came back to our table screaming at us for wanting to order our appetizer first. We were told it was the "chef's orders" and we had to obey or leave. Another lady came to our table in anger telling us she had just gotten yelled at for some infringement of the rules. Needless to say my wife's 77th birthday was a disaster... these people have a serious attitude problem. My wife will never return nor will the couple we were with... we were all so embarrassed to be yelled at in the dining room. The other lady who owns a salon in town will not be back either. All this for wanting to start with appetizers first before ordering dinner. Our bill for the night was $480.00... never again! Wheelchair accessibility Washrooms NOT accessible... I use a scooter. How is this legal?

The chicken curry reminded me of my childhood, but was even better. The food is cooked with passion and purpose. The drinks? Holy cow they are GOOD. Not so strong you taste t straight alcohol but they get the job done. Just when you think the food can't get better out comes dessert. WOW. The chocolate cake was a show and beignets were perfect. The sauces paired perfectly. Shaking beef is also one of the best dishes on the menu. The food is easy to eat. Can't wait to come back to eat and see my new friends

The crusty French bread was served with authentic rich French butter. The French beet salad with lentils was a classic, bistro-style dish that perfectly balances the earthy sweetness of beets with the peppery bite of firm French green lentils and there was also fennel and rich yummy cheese. She was friendly, attentive and pleasant when we asked to move our table to one a little farther away from the greenery, where a few no-see-ums were pesky. Our water glasses were frequently topped off and it was refreshing to be able to order apps without having to order the entree at the same time. She even brought us cushions as the chairs are a bit deep. BAR: Cosmo was well made, average size, pricey at $22.50. House white was an average pour, reasonable for $12. FOOD: The chicken liver was tasty and cooked perfectly. The onion soup was just ok, $16. It was a bit bland, but the biggest issue was the size and toughness of some of the onions. They were the outer part of the onion and were larger than typical in onion soup. The cheese was flavorful. I would have preferred a half portion, as the app size is huge and soup isn't an app that is easily shared. The Boeuf Bourguignon was flavorful and tender, but again, way too much of it. The accompaniment was scallop potatoes. I'd recommend mashed to make use of the yummy gravy in the bowl. The Veggies were bright and tender, but served in a bowl so challenging to cut up. ATMOSPHERE: It is pretty seating outdoors. The piano player was a really nice touch, adding to the charm. There are no-see-ums, so if you are someone who they seem to target, I'd recommend some type of bug repellent if you are going to sit indoors.

Unfortunately many restaurants there were fully seated and fortunately I got one in Bistro 821. I sat next to a couple and they asked me to join them soon after I just ordered my food. It was the second time that I was invited to have meal with strangers but the first time that I actually did that!!! Nervous at first but it turned out to be unforgettable. We chatted everything from food, sports, cities, cars, to more serious things like human and AI. They also recommended several sightseeing spots around the town so I really appreciate it! For food, I got the wagyu sirloin pot roast as entree. Good but not awesome. It came with two huge pieces and a scoop of mashed potatoes and two carrots and green beans. The meat was OK, the sauce was a bit too thick and I thought it was not a good idea to put both savory and sweet sauce on the meat. The mashed potatoes could be creamier. I did like the veggies as they were not oily, nor overly seasoned, thus paired well with the already-heavy meat and sauce. I also got a side of asparagus and it was good. Complimentary bread was delicious. When I finished my entree, the husband just suggested that we get some dessert. So.... After nearly 2 years without sweet food, I finally got some dark chocolate cake with ice cream. An amazing experience! Even though the food was not as good as I expected I should still give it 5 stars lol

The first couple years we moved to Naples, this was my go to seafood restaurant (for date night,…read moreNYE, guest visits, etc). Absolutely love the Chilean sea bass. Last couple of years, we have been going to new restaurants in the area with varying results. My niece sent me a gift certificate for Christmas since she remembered when I brought her here with her family. I am glad she did since it reminded me how delicious the food is and how attentive the servers/staff are. We started with appetizers (foil gras and caprese salad). For our main entrees, I ordered the halibut special, and my husband got the seafood risotto. Both were delicious. Though I preferred the Chilean sea bass, the halibut was cooked well (buttery, flaky, etc) and came with lighter sides than the Chilean sea bass. The risotto was creamy with lots of seafood. Very good selection of wines by the glass. Overall, we had a very good meal and a pleasant evening. Since we didn't came here for their early dining specials, the check total was a bit pricey but is within reason for a 5th avenue restaurant. We Will definitely come back again.
