Great ambiance. Walked in at 5:20pm for happy hour and requested a seat outside. Was told all tables are reserved and I can sit at the bar - no problem. Every table was empty when I was seated and by the time I left at 6:15, only one table was being used. I ordered a spritz and the poutine fries. Fries were crispy but wayyy too salty, the gravy was not cooked down - just too thin that it didn't stick/coat to the fries. This experience should earn a lower score but I want to think I caught them on a bad day. read more

Came here on a hot Wednesday night. It was a bit warmer inside than we would have liked, but the service matched the temperature. We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. Everyone that came to our table was incredibly inviting as well as knowledgeable about the menu with any questions we had. To starts, we ended up ordering their special Uni on toast, the lamb tartare, the stuffed squash blossoms, and their fries extra crispy. Everything came out pretty much at once which was nice. The standout appetizer had to be the stuffed squash blossoms. THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR and goes especially well with their fries. The lamb tartare was unique and didn't taste gamey. I'm not a big fan of uni in general but the toast was great and uni was as fresh as it could have been. For entrees, we ended up with the full order of mussels, the steak frites, the trout, the pork chop, and a few burgers. The burgers were nothing special with burnt buns and slightly overcooked meat. The steak frites we upgraded to the ribeye, and it was truly fantastic. I usually hate ordering steaks at restaurants since I know we can make better at home, but theirs was fantastically done and tasted pure. The trout was incredible as well with the delicious sauce and fresh summer vegetables accompanying it all. The pork chop as well was done well and had many components that complimented every flavor on the plate. We ended the night with their melon sorbet which was nice and refreshing especially in the heat of the day and place. Wanted to try their mille-feuille but my party was too stuffed to share it with me. Overall, great place that took over Molti Amici and plan on returning! read more

Excellent! We ate here for the first time tonight as ex-Healdsburg residents back for a visit. Everything was incredible. We ate out on the back patio which has been very tastefully updated from its Campo Fina days, we had cassoulet, fries with bearnaise and the trout appetizer. Everything was excellent including the service. Will be back on next visit. The Sunday supper and weekend Happy Hour menus looks great. read more

We were doing some wine tasting in Sonoma and stumbled upon Bistro Langniappe and were intrigued by their Sunday dinner special. They offer 3 courses with an apps for the table and a good selection of entrees and desserts to choose from. We were seated promptly in the garden area and we greeted by the friendly staff. We put in our orders and we were soon presented with the app, warm brioche buns with local butte a generous plate of tasty mesclun mix salad with great micro fennel and mustard greens and a delightful onion gratin with super gooey cheese. Then it was on to the entrees, I had chosen cassoulet, a favorite of mine and it arrived hot and aromatic with a nice hunk of sausage and a confit duck leg. The portion was generous and the beans were creamy and flavorful, my only complaint would be that they were a little heavy handed with the salt. My wife went with the trout which arrived with beautiful asparagus and a tasty sauce but alas it was a little undercooked. They replaced it with a perfectly cooked piece and she was very happy. We both loved the crispy skin on the trout. Finally we both went with the Mille feuille for dessert and it was a wonder, light crispy pastry with lemony custard and cream. First time to this newish French bistro on main street of downtown Healdsburg in former location of Campo Fino. We both chose glasses of Pinot Noir, me a Pinot from Michel Sarrazin in Burgundy, France and my wife an Elevated Surface Pinot Noir from California. We began by sharing a Spring Onion Gratin with Comté and a wood fired flat bread. A delicious twist on ingredients found in French Onion Soup. For main couse, I went with the Lamb Cassoulet, with white beans, lamb ribs, and lamb sausage. Very tasty, but nothing like any cassoulet I have ever had in France. Shirley went with Trout, crispy skin, but unbeknown to Shirley, the filet was cooked medium rare, not nearly enough for Shirley. The filet actually looked raw to me. To finish, we shared a cheese, rhubarb tart. A great disappointment, you definitely taste the cheese, but hardly any rhubarb, and definitely not sweet. Our server was great, very friendly, and attentive. To her credit, she took, the cheese rhubarb tart off our bill. We were seated on the back terrace. We commented that this was probably the nicest terrace in Healdsburg. We will return but we will make sure we ask more questions about preparation and cooking of dishes. read more

We booked Valentines dinner here. It was a decent price for a three course offering. Unfortunately only the small plate was prepared correctly. We ordered the oysters and the lobster bisque and dumplings. The oysters had a weird seasoning that was way too salty and you couldn't really taste the oyster. They over cooked the bisque and dumplings I actually wondered if they had them stage prepped. The sear on the steak was charred... not seared the grill was obviously set too high. The Trout was also burnt around the edges to a point of untastiness and we had to cut part away. However, the small plate salad dressing was unique and amazing and the steak tartare was delicious. My wife had the Citrus Sorbet which was too tart for me but she loved it. I had the brown butter icecream and it is the best icecream I've had in 10 years. The service was excellent. They have some things to workout on delivery but the actual menu was thought out. My biggest gripe is if I'm dropping over 200 for a meal I shouldn't have this many issues with it. read more

Yum! Our family had a wonderful time there this evening. The menu wasn't that big- but the food was delicious. I regret not ordering more of the the oysters! I came hungry, so I ordered two small plates as my meal- the Spring onion gratin and Leeks, mushrooms in brown butter. They paired amazingly together. Both my kids loved their hamburgers. And my husband enjoyed his trout. The best part of the experience was the staff. Everyone was so kind! We'll definitely be coming back! read more

We went on a Sunday not realizing there was only a fixed price supper (with choices). It ended up being fabulous - and very generous. We started with delicious rye brioche buns that I wish we hadn't gobbled down so fast because they would have been awesome with the ultra rich onion gratin with Comte. The silky potato leek soup was also delicious. The lemony salad was ultra fresh and cut through the richness of these dishes. I had the beef bourguignon, which came en croute. Great flavor but the beef could have been a bit more tender. My husband had the trout which he enjoyed very much. The pot de crème with salted caramel was crazy good. We'll be back. read more

Not sure what happened - we popped in for the happy hour and the bartender was anything but happy. Rather dour tbh. The seating was limited to metal bar stools with slats - no cushions. It was also CRAZY hot. One more glance at the joyless bartender and we hightailed it over to Goodnight's happy hour where we we actually greeted warmly, seated on leather padded stools, AC cooling us down, friendliest bartender in town and fabulous food. Not sure we're ever going back to Lagniappe. read more

Fantastic experience; great service, food was overall incredible. Highly recommend eveyrthing but mussels, stuffed squash blossoms, steak frites and crudo stood out the most. Charming Bistro with excellent service! Gisele at the entrance was so welcoming with a beautiful smile. Our table on the cover patio was so lovely. The service by Hannah was professional and so friendly! The food was very tasty with excellent products! The rye brioche with cultured butter and the onion gratin with Comte was delicious. The main course with a lovely trout and the roasted chicken with supreme sauce and chanterelle a must! We tried this place for the first time last night and it did not disappoint! We had a 7 pm reservation however, they were quite busy and our table was not ready until 7:45-8:00. The staff was more than apologetic and compensated us well for the inconvenience. While we waited we enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails at the in door bar. The food was fantastic. For appetizers we had the wood fired flat bread and the crab dumplings. Both were delicious but the flat bread was the best!! For dinner we had the pork chops which were so juicy and cooked perfectly. The chicken dish was also delicious with a crispy skin and the burger was cooked perfectly and so flavorful. We enjoyed some good Sonoma county wine with a reasonable price point as well. The indoor area is small but they have a large outdoor area with heaters and a second bar. The attention to detail, and the customer service was well appreciated! We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and we will return soon! read more

Just found this place and had an excellent dinner. Everything we ate, tuna crudo, steak tartare, pork chop, and steak frites, was excellent. The drinks were good too and normally priced for the area. We wanted to start with drinks and appetizers, but were told everything had to be ordered together...including entrees. The waitress came back 8-10 minutes later and took our order.
