Came for mothers day brunch and it was great! Greeted with a mimosa and we had the duck hash and a chicken and waffles. Would definitely go back!

    Octopus, chorizo and potato starter

We ventured out for something new and landed inside Tisza for a great meal. No reservations needed on the early side of Friday evening. We're seated inside after greetings by the hostess. Our waitress welcomed us, shared the nightly special and we ordered a 'plate to share', glass of wine and a beer. The octopus had a nice char, with good flavor and cook on the inside. The chorizo was a nice flavor contrast to it. Sausage platter was a great choice - providing the variety of meat flavors, paired with the acidity of two kinds of cabbage and a delicious dill pickle (reminded me of what my dad would make). Jagerschnitzel was delicious- crispy but juicy inside, topped with the savory mushrooms and complemented by the potato dumpling (looked like a potato but with wonderful texture.) We finished the chef's desert of the day - strawberry crème shortbread. Wow. Shortbread was warm, flaky and light, soaked up the fresh strawberries in their sweet syrup and not too sweet crème. Wonderful ending. Ambiance is nice. We're looking forward to returning with friends next time!

As someone who is somewhat familiar with the Healdsburg dining scene, it came to my surprise that this place was not on my radar for the longest time. Thank goodness we finally got to come here because it felt as if this is a sort of restaurant that Sonoma County has been needing. To start off with, when it comes to my family, our party can be a little difficult in terms of finding space that can accommodate a wheelchair that can be in the way of staff or other patrons and also the particularness that my grandparents have with certain seating areas (i.e. feeling drafts or cold air, not being by the bathroom, etc). Although being here a handful of times, the staff has always gone above and beyond in listening and catering to our detailed seating issues and always providing excellent service. The food is pretty good here. We really enjoy coming for the dill cucumber salad as it's reminiscent of the one our grandmother used to make. We never leave here hungry! It's worth coming to try!

Gluten free Chicken Schnitzel - out of this world!!!

My mom and I went to Tisza for lunch when visiting Healdsburg and WOW - we were blown away. We had the pretzel, Brussels sprouts, a gluten free chicken schnitzel and regular pork schnitzel and loved every bite. I haven't had schnitzel that good since a trip to Austria years ago. The two owners have put their hearts and souls into the restaurant and it shows. There were so many locals who said they come regularly because they're never had a bad meal at Tisza and I can see why they'd say that. I won't ever come to Healdsburg (or drive through it) without stopping at Tisza for a meal. Bravo!!

We spent two months in Healdsburg this summer and Tisza was our favorite by a landslide! We miss the big delicious portions, beautiful presentation, and friendly people. Sundays were our favorites, one of us would order the 3 course special and the other order off the regular menu. We'd share the appetizer and dessert. Our last visit was in their charming beer garden. We hope to be back soon!

Comforting meal with a lively atmosphere! Come on Sunday for their prix fixe menu! $45 per person, three courses, changes weekly. Check their instagram for updates. My husband and I were able to try the potato latkes, jägerschnitzel, and the prix fixe which at the time was ahí tuna tartare, roasted chicken, and apple strudel. The potato latkes comes with a huge plate of delicious smoked salmon topped with sauces and fresh herbs. It can definitely be shared between multiple people, but I wish it came with more of the actual latkes. Service was lovely, inside the restaurant was a bit loud during peak dinner time but they offer outdoor dining, they also have a parking lot which was easy.

"Central European roots with wine country creativity!" (From their website) I didn't know about Tisza when it was in Windsor, but what a unique new option to have in Healdsburg! And it's open on Mondays! My husband loves German food so made a reservation and dined in on Monday. We were pleasantly surprised to see them relatively busy on a Monday night, both inside in the main dining room and outside in their cozy beer garden. The interior decor transported us to Europe. And the food delighted our eyes and palates. Before the starters come, Chef surprised us with savory and delicious cheese biscuits. So good! If these were on the menu, I'd order a plate of them for myself! To start we shared: -ROASTED BEET SALAD goat cheese, orange, candied walnuts, yogurt, pickled shallots, balsamic pearls *vibrant in color and flavor -BURRATA & PEACH SPECIAL *burrata is always a good idea, especially with fresh summer peaches For mains we had: BAVARIAN SCHNITZEL braised red cabbage, sauerkraut, potato dumpling *he licked his plate clean! PAN ROASTED PETRALE SOLE ricotta dumplings, chanterelle mushrooms, peas, smoked buttermilk broth *the buttermilk broth added a lovely, creamy flavor but still felt light enough for a summer night The wine list includes European and local options by the glass and bottle. The desserts sound decadent - we didn't have room. Good to knows: -corkage fee waived on Mondays -$45 3-course tasting menu available on Sundays Thanks Tisza for such a unique and tasty dinner. Welcome to Healdsburg!

Wonderful food. Nice staff. Outdoor seating is very nice on a warm evening. The chicken schnitzel club may be the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten.

A last minute decision to dine at this bistro and we were not disappointed. Food and service were superb! We would love dine here again the next time we're in the area.

This place is amazing! Lovely cozy place with great service and outstanding European cuisine! We enjoyed the octopus, schnitzel, spaetzle and strudel of course. The Oktoberfest platter is top notch and a must have. Owner and Chef Krisztian Karkus even came to our table to say hello and thanked us for coming in - such a treat!

Coming up for it with a rating for this restaurant was a bit of a challenge. So this is a bit of a mixed review for the food and the service. To be fair, the restaurant was fairly busy. We were seated rather quickly, but there was a slight lag in initial service. We brought a bottle of wine with us, and the server asked if we'd like it opened. Since she was under age that she had to search for someone who could open the bottle for us in about 20 minutes later, she returned the table and apologized and said someone will be coming soon. At that time we also decided to order a bottle of wine from the wine list to Enjoy as well. After further delay, A different person brought us two glasses of wine, and I said, actually we asked for a bottle, which leader arrived. Now the food. We started with appetizers, including the grilled octopus -- quite tasty -- As well as equally tasty scallops, which were one of the specials for the night. For the main course, we ordered Wiener schnitzel, Jager schnitzel and calf liver. All were cooked nicely and tasted very good although the calf liver entrée was a little off of hot. Portion sizes were generous. The ladies shared a hazelnut chocolate tort to put a bow on the meal. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. I was a bit surprised upon reviewing the bill that $30 corkage was applied to the bottle of wine we brought. First of all corkage was not listed anywhere. (It should be noted their website doesn't even have a wine list at all). Secondly, most restaurants tend to waive corkage if you purchase a bottle at the restaurant as we did. I double checked to make sure that we weren't accidentally charged $15 twice for two bottles but no it's actually $30 a bottle for corkage. So that was a little disappointing. Another disappointment was the appearance of a 3% "Kitchen Fair Living Wage" surcharge. I failed to see the point of having a separate listing for this. Why not just add an extra buck or so to the entrée prices. Despite these shortcomings will probably be back for more of that tasty food. We probably won't be bringing any wine, however.

We were completely blown away by the thoughtful menu, knowledgeable hosts, and warm hospitality from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, Kyle welcomed us and seamlessly guided us through the experience, sharing the rich history of Williamson Wines alongside detailed stories behind every dish and glass. Both Kyle and Jesse went above and beyond to keep our group engaged and exceptionally well cared for throughout the entire meal. The culinary offerings were outstanding. The chef even came out to check on our table, presenting six expertly crafted courses. As someone with food allergies, I was especially grateful for how attentive the team was--strictly accommodating dietary needs and seamlessly providing tailored alternatives without missing a beat. Our Pairing Highlights: - Shrimp Cocktail (housemade cocktail sauce, avocado) | Paired with Sparkling White Wine - Creole Beef Chili (mango salsa, peppers, kidney beans, tortilla strips, Herbie's Creole + Cajun Seasonings) | Paired with Viognier 2023 - French Onion Chicken (gruyere, caramelized onions, toasted baguette, Herbie's mixed herbs) | Paired with Grenache 2022 - House-made Lemon Ricotta Ravioli (preserved lemon, spinach, garlic, basil, cream, parmesan, Herbie's Italian Seasoning) | Paired with Meritage 2021 - Croissant Bread Pudding (Republica del cacao dark chocolate sauce, Tahitian vanilla, Herbie's Wattleseed) | Paired with Grange Cuvée 2022 - Mushroom Tart Bite | Paired with Sparkling Shiraz While every single dish hit the mark, the Lemon Ricotta Ravioli and French Onion Chicken were the highlights for me. The wine pairings elevated every bite; I'm a sucker for a great Viognier, and couldn't resist taking two bottles home! The Grange Cuvée was also a refreshing standout. The ambiance struck the perfect balance--refined and elegant without feeling stuffy or overly formal. Thank you to Kyle, Jesse, the chef(s), and the entire Williamson team for an unforgettable outing. I'm already counting down to my next visit!

We were immediately greeted by the hostess and seated promptly. Everyone that came to our table was incredibly inviting as well as knowledgeable about the menu with any questions we had. To starts, we ended up ordering their special Uni on toast, the lamb tartare, the stuffed squash blossoms, and their fries extra crispy. Everything came out pretty much at once which was nice. The standout appetizer had to be the stuffed squash blossoms. THE SAUCE IS TO DIE FOR and goes especially well with their fries. The lamb tartare was unique and didn't taste gamey. I'm not a big fan of uni in general but the toast was great and uni was as fresh as it could have been. For entrees, we ended up with the full order of mussels, the steak frites, the trout, the pork chop, and a few burgers. The burgers were nothing special with burnt buns and slightly overcooked meat. The steak frites we upgraded to the ribeye, and it was truly fantastic. I usually hate ordering steaks at restaurants since I know we can make better at home, but theirs was fantastically done and tasted pure. The trout was incredible as well with the delicious sauce and fresh summer vegetables accompanying it all. The pork chop as well was done well and had many components that complimented every flavor on the plate. We ended the night with their melon sorbet which was nice and refreshing especially in the heat of the day and place. Wanted to try their mille-feuille but my party was too stuffed to share it with me. Overall, great place that took over Molti Amici and plan on returning!
