Had a really lovely dinner in my trip to Healdsburg. I made a reservation ahead of time, and we showed up a little early and still got seated. Their rooftop dining area is really nice, lots of couch seating and cute booths. It's nicely covered, and there are fans, so it would be great on a hot day. The views were really lovely and it felt great to be above it all! We ordered a couple of appetizers, including the brussels sprouts and shrimp ceviche, and I had one of the cocktails. We also got one of their pizzas, choosing the one with chicken ranch. Everything was delicious and served promptly. I saw for larger groups, they had some nice couch areas. It would be a fun place to hang out with a group of people.
Great lunch! Upstairs is the more casual lunch spot and downstairs is the fancy Michelin rated restaurant. (Our friend knows the artist who did all the paintings downstairs!) Service was attentive and friendly. Food was fabulous. Eating outside was very comfortable, they had heat lamps. Highly recommend coming here.
Been coming to roof top 106 now for over a year and the one thing that's stayed consistent is their cocktails. Love getting their espresso martini, it's hands down the best in Sonoma Co. (shout out to Alex). The bar can get pretty crowded so get there early to claim a spot (opens @4), it's the best seat in the house (for people watching and bantering with friends/bartenders like Jon Jon). Food menu recently changed and don't find the quality to be as good as it was before, lacking flavor. Any of their wood fire pizza would suffice the hungry cravings if I had to recommend something to eat. Pretty laid back, relaxing environment, which is always filled with fun and laughter.
Roof 106 has a Smashburger?! Are you kidding me? We went out with friends recently for pizza but I had to get the burger instead. Adding that to my list of fave burgers in town. The patties are thin, the cheese is melty...it has that classic Americana taste: -Double Smashburger: griddled onion, american cheese, dill pickle, special sauce It comes simply as a burger - no sides - and that worked for me. Fries are available to order, but I didn't need them. For the table we shared: -Crispy Brussels Sprouts (solid) -Spiced Delicata Squash with sage crema - this is my absolute favorite side and it's only available seasonally, so if you see it, ORDER IT! (or order three!) -Chanterelle Mushroom pizza: herbed pistou, toasted walnut, gruyere, saba (LOVE the flavors and textures) -The Original Margherita pizza: fresh mozzarella, crushed tomato, basil (a classic crowd-pleaser) We sat outside on a cold December night, and the overhead heat lamps kept us plenty warm! Look forward to our next visit.
What a nice find after doing a day of wine tasting. Our friends wanted just some smaller bites, so we went here. Started off a few margaritas that were clear...very unique, and a few draft beers. We got the pepperoni pizza, while the friends went with a chicken sandwich, pork belly bites and Belgium fries. We sat out on the patio with a fireplace...it was very nice for a crisp cold night in January. The food was very fresh and the service was great as well. I will definitely come back here just for the experience.
We love the matheson and Roof 106 is a wonderful place to hang either outside or by the bar under the roof. Gorgeous surroundings, lovely views and excustit food. I mean a simple plate of carrots here is elevated to heaven thru the wood burning oven. Menu changes so never gets stale. We're still mainly vegetarian so it means so much how many vegetable options plus proteins. I mean get off the fence and go there. Of course they have all the regular meat stuff and an excellent wine list but the cocktails are always phenom. Just go!
This is such a great spot in downtown Healdsburg. It's located right by the plaza with tons of shops, bars, and dessert places nearby, which makes it an easy stop for brunch, lunch, or dinner. The rooftop is really cute, with cool views of downtown and a modern, clean, and stylish interior that feels both relaxed and upscale. We came for brunch and the food did not disappoint. I ordered the breakfast pizza and a Caesar salad. The breakfast pizza was very good. It had a thin, crispy crust with a great balance of egg, onions, and bacon. Simple but done really well. The Caesar salad was fresh and a nice complement. Staff was great too. They were friendly, quick, and attentive without hovering.
We came here for dinner and the food was incredible. The shrimp ceviche was fresh and flavorful, and the salad was equally fresh and well prepared. The steak was tender, and the sauce paired with it perfectly. The fries were cooked just right, crispy and delicious. A standout dish for us was the pizza--we ordered half without bacon and added burrata cheese, and the spicy kick combined with the rich flavors made it amazing. The restaurant itself is charming and has a very nice ambiance. The only downside was the service at the beginning of the evening. We had to wait for our table and sat at the bar in the meantime, but despite arriving earlier, we were seated after several people who came in after us. Once seated, it also took a while for our server to greet our table. After that initial delay, however, everything else went smoothly and we had a great experience overall.
We ate dinner at roof 106 and I highly recommend this restaurant. Hubs and I decided to split their pre-fixe dinner and we are really glad we made that decision! I'm sad that I didn't photograph the food because it was amazing. And so so delicious!
Food was amazing, service and staff were incredible. The casual, relaxed and yet cool and stylish nature of the restaurant is perfect for anything from a casual meal with friends to a formal date.
AUG2025 Stopped in for early dinner. Sat at the bar for ease since it was more of a pit stop. We were able to jump in on happy hour too right before it ended which was nice. The bartender checked in on us often and answered any questions that we had. We had gotten the brussel sprouts, the wings, a squash pizza, and a pepperoni. The wings were interesting. I liked the crispy rice topping for texture. They were a little dry but I liked the ingenuity of it. The brussel sprouts were cooked well and not heavy or oil laden. Nice and crispy texture made for a great bite. Both pizzas were great, well cooked. I liked the taste of the crust and was just chewy enough. I was partial to the squash since the pesto, squash, and peppers really melded well together for me. The pistachio provided a nice crunch here and there though I'm unsure if it added much taste wise. An easy spot for a spell, it's one of our considerations when in town.
We LOVED the food here! My family and I live a few hours away, and Roof 106 was the first place we went for dinner in Healdsburg. The food was absolutely delicious, and my Mom said that the Spicy Pork Belly Hoisin Pizza was the best pizza she ever had. Although this restaurant is on the pricer side for the portion sizes, I believe the food makes it 100% worth checking it out. The ingredients, flavors, and experience were incredible. My family ordered: Spicy Pork Belly Hoisin Pizza, Crispy Pork Belly Bites, Fried Sweet Corn, Shrimp Ceviche, Summer Squash Pizza, Whole Burrata + Sourdough Flatbread, and the Belgian Style French Fries. I hope I didn't forget anything! Our waiter was also very pleasant to order with, and he provided very good service. 10/10, would love to come again!
Husband and I were given a gift card to The Matheson a while back and decided to finally get around to making good use of it! We decided that the menu at Roof 106 (top floor of The Matheson) would fit the bill for what we were looking for last night. We had reservations to sit outside (highly recommend sitting outside) at 6pm. When we got there, the very nice host said our table wasn't quite ready but still found us a nice spot. Our server greeted us warmly and got our drink orders taken right away. We decided on their crispy chicken wings and roasted Brussels sprouts to start, then the summer squash pizza and Italian sausage pizza. The food was amazing! I have tried Brussels sprouts several times in my life and have never cared for them, but I couldn't get enough of these!! Absolutely delicious. The pizzas were cooked perfectly and the flavors paired nicely. Lovely atmosphere, terrific food, and wonderful service.
Cute rooftop location! Went during the early evening at 4:30 or so and we were able to get a lounge type seating area for 8 people which was perfect since we had kids with us. I am sure at night a reservation would be helpful since the seating was limited. Nice place with good food, pretty drinks and service! A great place to sit and enjoy a couple of dishes in Healdsburg! We arrived at 107 around 5:30 PM and had been enjoying drinks while waiting for dinner. The host in the red sweater told us she would move us to another table at 7:15 PM, so we patiently waited. However, when the time came, she suddenly refused to seat us. What made the situation even more frustrating was that there were several empty tables visible throughout the restaurant, yet we were repeatedly told the restaurant was fully booked. After waiting nearly two hours and spending money at the bar, we felt misled, dismissed, and unwelcome. We have always enjoyed 107, but this experience left a very disappointing first impression. We hope management looks into this matter and improves communication and hospitality at the host stand. read more

This place could have easily been a five star review but I had to take one off for the very long wait. The vibe and energy is all here. Such a trendy and energetic place. The place was super busy on a Saturday evening. We were seated in the lounge area upstairs and it was a little challenging to eat our food on sofas but we made it work and still enjoyed our evening. The food was amazingly delicious and the server checked on us often, which we appreciated. Overall, an amazing place to relax and unwind with good food. You'll want to make reservations! read more

I've eaten here twice now and love it! The quality of the food is so amazing and the price is really fair. I expected my bill to be way more than it is. We even met the chef one of the times we went. I tried caviar for the first time there and the experience was so nice. The cocktails were all really great too. read more

Love this spot in Healdsburg. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating which you can't go wrong with one or the other. What stood out for me is the wine wall. First time trying it and loved the experience of trying different drinks. Service is on point and every detail from the center lpieces to the silverware is marvelous. read more

5 star Something new. Loved our dining experience at Rooftop 106. I can easily say it felt like we were on vacation. The ambiance is vibrant yet relaxing, making it the perfect escape from the everyday hustle. The views of Healdsburg are stunning, and there's something magical about savoring your meal while perched above the busy streets below. The food and drinks were wonderful. We had the prefix menu which as a combination of all the dishes we had our eye on; charcuterie board, crispy Brussel sprouts, steak, finger potato's, apple crisp, and soft serve ice cream. Of course, everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. Espresso martinis and Aperol Spritz were our drinks choices. Staff: Our server, Daniel, was nothing short of exceptional. He was attentive and welcoming, ensuring that our needs were met without being intrusive. From recommending his fav menu pics to checking in at just the right moments, he made us feel truly special throughout our visit. read more

Every dish we sampled was spectacular. Burrata was amazing. the Shrimp had a delicious sauce that paired well with the bread. The service was perfect. This is an example of what a restaurant should be. Delicious clean tasting food with great service. Make sure to mark this one down as a must try. read more

Such a vibe! If you're looking for a great spot to grab a bite, especially after a day of wine tasting, this is the place. We'd heard it might be tough to get a table, but arrived just before 5pm on a Friday and it was no problem. It definitely started filling up soon after. We headed to the rooftop and ordered a mix of shareable plates, and every single dish was so flavorful. I'd order it all again. Ambiance - Ahhhh, can a rooftop restaurant not be cool?! :) We came without reservations, around 4pm on a random weekday. Plenty of seating, heaters to stave off the chilly air, comfortable cushioned bench/couch seating, fire pits, etc etc. It feels both casual and upscale. Nice balance! Seating is close so be aware if you're sharing intimate life details but was fun that night interacting with a group of four energetic ladies. Service - Everyone we encountered was friendly, professional, and efficient. Our server gave recommendations as requested and helped us on decisions. We were only here for a small "snack" if you will, happy hour of sorts without it really being a happy hour menu. Food/Drinks - we started with cocktails - "Welcome to Pear-adise" for me, hazy IPA for the hubby. My drink was more like a citrusy summer drink for kids. I'm a total lightweight and for me not to "feel" any buzz, makes me think it was super light on the alcohol. Hubby's beer was cold and enjoyable. We shared a margherita pizza and I really liked this version. Super thin, lots of flavorful tomato sauce, plenty of cheese and basil. Hubby finished off with the sweet apple crisp and enjoyed every bite. Overall, a fun place and lots of options for food and drinks. read more

Roof 106 has a great rooftop vibe fun, energetic, and perfect place to get away. But damn, it took forever to get seated. The place was packed, and the wait felt endless, so definitely make a reservation if you're heading there on a weekend. There is a cool park across the street to hang out at while you wait. Once we finally sat down in the upstairs lounge area, kind of awkward for eating on couches but we made it work. The food was great. Both the salmon and steak were cooked perfectly. If you're in Healdsburg and want good drinks, tasty food, and a rooftop scene, Roof 106 delivers. Just be ready for a wait unless you book ahead. read more
This hopping bar and eatery is on the roof of the Matheson restaurant. It has inside and outside sitting with table fire pits and very comfortable couches and chairs to relax on. The staff is very attentive and helpful. There is a nice selection of cocktails, beer, and wine with some unique selections. It's a great gathering place for young and old and is quite hip in nature. There is a nice selection of small plates, wood fired pizzas, and full meals. We got a pizza which was very tasty and finished off with a charcuterie board and a glass of nice local dry creek Zinfandel. If in Sonoma, check it out one evening! read more
My friend and i did a walk in here not sure what to expect but boy were we surprised. First off 10/10 on the service here, our water cup was never empty and our server was great. We did the harvest menu as it was $47 per person and it included multiple plates. I thought it was a sweet deal and I was right. Charcuterie board was great although I would've like an olive oil or another sauce the sauce was not my fave. However everything else on the board was great, the cheese the veggies and the chorizo. The actual entre was trout, I love sea food but have had trout about one time. This trout was amazing finger licking good. The sides the Brussels sprouts (not pictured) were so good!!! The apple pie desert was amazing and to die for. I will definitely return here for a nice dinner. I think it was a great spot to try and reasonably priced we got a lot for the price we paid and the drinks were good . I will say that the vibe here is more upscale and fancy we sat outside at the rooftop, and the heaters worked very well. Definitely come here and do their 3 plate menu. You won't regret it. read more

Came here for our anniversary and birthday celebration, though that wasn't acknowledged that was ok. The place is a very nice, energetic, open spaced restaurant. We got cocktails, a lot of different plates to share for the table, one pizza, and dessert for 5 guests. The burrata was a hit as well as the Broccolini pizza. The squash, potatoes, and brussel sprouts were also tasty. The chicken wings were ok they were just slightly lacking in flavor, and some parts of the flat iron steak were overdone. Overall the meal was good and our server was nice. read more
How have I not reviewed Roof 106 yet?! This place is phenomenal. I've been here countless times for dinner parties, birthdays, happy hours, dates and work meetings. Roof 106 is such a crowd pleaser, one of my top recommendations for restaurants in the healdsburg area. The menu doesn't change much but the offerings are solid and delicious. The chef's tasting menu is honestly my favorite, you get to try the best of on the menu for a great price point. I've never had a bad dining experience at Roof 106, staff is always welcoming and service is great. Be sure to book a reservation as it can be busy here on the weekends. Most of the seating is outdoor, I prefer to go during the summer months to enjoy the weather. During winter it can be a little colder but they do offer heaters. Overall a 10/10 pick, a must try if you're in the healdsburg area. read more

Fun ambience and great plates to share. Came to Roof 106 for a late dinner after enjoying the wine bar at the Matheson below. Ordered a number of dishes to share. Our collective favorite was the pork belly, followed by the burrata with flatbread. Small plate portions, we ordered 4 main dishes plus a dessert to share amongst 3 people and were comfortably full. **The only reason it wasn't a 5-star experience was due to a strange occurrence at the end of our meal. At around 9pm on the rooftop patio, the misters and/or fire control system went off (soaking our clothing and table) and non of the staff would tell us what was happening! Luckily, we were basically done eating and just finishing our bottle of wine. Still, it was unnerving that none of the servers would tell us what was happening and we quickly removed ourselves from the patio and closed out our tab at the bar. read more
This will be a limited review as all we had was a margarita pizza and drinks. Before the food, the restaurant was upstairs above the Matheson, felt a little add walking thru the Matheson, but they are connected, but separate. We walked up the stairs (Elevator is available). We for some outdoor seating with heating, very nice ambiance, sat on some soft couch with some pillows, over on other side they had fire pits, we were early, so there were not many people yet. The service was perfect, the margarita pizza was very thin, my wife really liked it, I'd probably go with something else on our next visit. The apple crisp was very good! Definitely sweet, and very delicious. read more
