Great location along the water, quiet and off the beaten path. Dogs allowed on the lower patio. Lovely at night to sit by the fire, and one of the night was live singing. The service is extremely friendly and quick. What tops it off- the food is really good!! We are here a few times with our group since we had dogs (and there are limited options with dogs) and it was all great! The white fish is THE BEST! Truffle fries on point. 5 latter humus - yes please! Burger really good, shrimp cooked perfectly tossed in a vinaigrette. After we got a drink to go and sat in the white chairs along the pebble beach.

The perfect area near mini putting and island views. Food was great, service was also good. Pina colada was perfect for the weather.

Play a round of 18-hole mini-golf with your family and then go have a yummy lunch at Bistro on the Green! After my family played all 18-holes, we were thankful to have a fast place to get food within steps of finishing our golf game! My husband had the whitefish sandwich on a lobster roll with a side salad. Our daughter had chicken and fries. I had a burger with fries. The fries are delicious because they're actually Parmesan cheese fries but it's subtle enough that it's not overdone. The service we had with Kirstie was wonderful and she was very attentive! Definitely recommend- this was a fun lunch/game!

After a scenic lively bike ride around the island we grabbed a wonderful meal with breathtaking views, service with a smile and a great regional favorites. The "Denny's Margarita" hit the spot too. Enjoy it all on your next visit.

Overall, you're paying a higher price for the beautiful views and amazing atmosphere. Bistro on the Greens was perfect for my family of 5 who wanted food because we were starving, but wanted to stay away from the hoards of crowds. After walking and biking in a full day of heat, Bistro on the Greens won our dinner options simply because it was off the main road. We were seated immediately and had a table underneath an umbrella with a beautiful view of the lake. The breeze was refreshing and overall a great feel after a long day. When not looking at the lake, or sunset, you can watch ppl play putt putt ($15 btw). Overall, the food was ok. Mildly limited menu. It wasn't disappointing, just kind of basic. If you don't want to pay huge dinner prices I recommend the burger, which was large and came with chips, perfect if youre super hungry. The chips are delicious and are kettle chips that are very lightly salted. two at our table got the whitefish, which was just fine but not outstanding. The downside to this location is the speed of service. It took a while for us to get waters and it took a very long time for our food. We weren't in rush but we were hungry and we had to wait a long time.

Great place to stop if you've visiting Mackinac Island! It's sits looking over a putting green and the beautiful lake. The vibe from a far pulled us in to have lunch here! It was quite the busy holiday weekend so the place was packed. We had a large group, eight of us, so we put our name in on the waitlist and grabbed some cocktails at the bar. I very much enjoyed my Watermelon Elderflower Cooler (vodka, St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur, fresh lime, and watermelon)! We had a doggy with us, who unfortunately wasn't allowed near the bar, but was certainly welcomed to join us when we were sat at our table. Our server was honestly the best. So happy, talkative, attentive and helpful. Being from Turkey, he had returned to the island for another summer of work. Six stars for him! I ended up ordering the Garden Sandwich, which was cilantro-jalapeno hummus spread, lettuce, marinated tomato, red onion, red pepper, feta cheese, and bean sprouts in a pita fold. It was delicious! Everyone's food came out quickly, and all seemed to enjoy their meals. I'll have to return back to sample some more of their fresh signature cocktails!

Steak and frites. Flat iron steak with arugula salad. Very tough.

This place is ok. On the positive side, it is an amazing location. Beautiful views and frankly worth a visit based on that alone. The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating! Kids eat free if staying at mission point. The food is just ok. My wife requested a burger medium. It came well done and was dry. I ordered the steak (medium rare) and frites because I was craving beef, and it was the first day of our vacation. The steak was grisly and chewing. I'm not going to blame the chef because it clearly says flat iron steak. That cut comes from the chuck with fatty membranes running through it. I don't think I would have ordered it if I payed attention to the cut. If that cut is your thing, maybe you would enjoy. On the bright side, fries were crispy. I thought the calamari was great with a nice dipping sauce. Crisp. Not too much breading. It was the best bite of the meal. My daughters enjoyed their chicken strips and cheeseburger. Again, the staff and view make this place. Our server was great, and all employees work hard to be friendly. I probably need to go back and try something else. I would not order the steak. I would definitely recommend for enjoying the view with adult drinks and appetizers.

Great food I had a gyro and my husband had a white fish sandwich. Both delicious. The service was top-notch Oleen what is our server and she was delightful. Told us a little bit about the restaurant and the history and was charming. The ambience was incredible. My husband who never says much about Settings said he felt like he was in a picture. It was so beautiful. I would definitely recommend this to anybody visiting the island.

The place has the potential for so much more. They have a patio area overlooking a mini golf course and a lawn area where people were flying kites. It is very scenic and a great place to grab some drinks, but only drinks. The drinks menu is twice the size of the food menu and there isn't much to eat there. Knocking one star for the lack of food choices, truffle fries were great though!

Excellent views!!! Food was quick and yummy. A little loud since it's right next to the golf course but if you don't mind that, it's the perfect spot for a quick bite.

The views here are breathtaking but the food was mediocre. We were staying at Mission Point, and were told kids under 12 eat free. What they forget to tell you, is that they eat free but only from the kid menu, the portion sizes on that menu are good for five year olds. My eleven year old boy ended up ordering another adult entree. We both opted for burgers with a side salad. The burgers were ok, the salad came drenched in some kind of sweet vinegary dressing. The "salad" is just lettuce. We did enjoy interacting with our servers, most of them are from Jamaica and bring a fun fresh vibe to their jobs. I totally agree with another yelper here, it's a great place for a drink ...maybe even an appetizer but there are better places for a meal on the island.

This is one of those restaurants in which you know where you're paying for the view and only the view. Therefore there's no urge to increase the quality of the food. Our server, Jana, was great, but then she had this weird assistant, who seemed to butt into our service. It didn't make sense who this second waitress was or why Jana even needed an assistant. The second lady seemed overbearing. My table was full of burger orders that were overcooked. Those were some expensive overcooked burgers that weren't even made correctly. Mine had bacon, and others didn't despite it being ordered. +$14 burger +$5 egg +$2 bacon The whitefish fish sandwich was well done, the sauce was delicious, but the ingredient to bread ratio was ridic. The top of the ciabatta bread was the same size as the rest of the sandwich. I just ate it open faced. My phone died, so no pictures. Only fries that's were lacking in volume. Alcohol was decent. Everyone else got beer, but I got the hibiscus lemonade cocktail. All the simple syrup was at the bottom. Tdlr: since I'm such a foodie, this was one of the worst $65 meals ever.

    The view from the deck.

The patty was juicy, the bun was soft and fluffy, and somehow she still managed to have room for dessert. Kids are magical like that. The fish was fresh, flaky, and perfectly cooked with a light, crispy crust that let the flavor of the whitefish shine. Exactly what we were hoping for. The restaurant has a fun, laid-back atmosphere that feels like the perfect place to recharge before heading back out to explore the island. The service was friendly, the food came out quickly, and everything tasted fresh. If you're visiting Mackinac, don't overthink it. All in all we really enjoyed our meal here; it was the perfect casual stop for us on our trip.

We arrived early and were greeted pleasantly and were told to have a seat in the lounge so we did the restaurant was less than 1/4 full. We were handed 3 menus one was an appetizer menu. After waiting for some time and standing at the bar we were told we could only order drinks. So we went with it. At 7:28 I went back to the host stand where I where I waited for about 5 minutes finally the hostess reappeared and had no idea. So she seated us in the nose bleed section instead of offering us one of the really nice views. Then the real fun started... nothing for my 8 year old son. We were told we can't do anything for kids the suggestion was crab legs (wow). So he ordered a "Chianti signature Caesar" thinking it's pretty hard to mess up a Caesar Salad (was I wrong). It was dried out and the very bottom of the Roman almost at the base, if not the base. The dressing lacked flavor. On top of that the waiter never asked my son what he wanted to drink. My wife had the beet salad and she said it was good. When seated the waiter told us about the chef parring and I was kinda excited to try a few different things. When I went to order the chef's paring I was told the whole table had to do so. Even though I was told everything was fresh and prepared in house. The waiter pointed to the menu and it was presented differently from the menu which seemed a little sketchy especially for $125 per person. So to be clear if your whole table orders the chef's tasting you're good. If not, no bueno. The main courses were good. The sea bass was really good. The dry aged steak was well seasoned and even though I like things a little more rare some spots were purple. My son got the wagyu which was ordered medium and was closer to rare. The potatoes were amazing and so was the sauce. All and all 1/2 the servers were good and came to check on us. The main courses beef and sea bass and beet salad were pretty tasty and good. Prices aren't terrible for a tourist trap. The GM kept checking on us. In the end we got 2 desserts the apple and the opera cake both were outstanding. The had a piano player was excellent and made for a nice ambience. I think there were some really new people that weren't really sure on what to do or about customer service. The Bartender seemed very frustrated, almost like it was his first night. The hostess was completely lost and in over her head. For a high-end restaurant and very few customers this place should've ran like a well oiled sewing machine.

A minor complaint: the dining room is VAST with high ceilings and a mezzanine of circulation from the main hotel, so a lot of people pass by and look down on the dining area, creating a less than intimate feel for a fine dining meal. The required dress code makes it an elevated experience, and the staff are all so attentive and on top of things. We opted for the dining package that includes breakfast and dinner, so we enjoyed several meals here. Each night features a different menu for the dinner: red, green, or yellow. The dinners are five courses and you are encouraged to choose an item for each course, but you don't have to (many of the kids in our party only ordered appetizers and mains). On the first night, I had shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, herb-crusted prime rib, and the German chocolate cake. The prime rib was my favorite although it was a bit too salty. The second night I opted for the butter poached lobster roll, tuscan sausage and kale soup, little gem Caesar, crab crusted walleye, and the famous pecan ball for dessert. My favorite was the lobster roll - it was a small portion, but so delicious and the lobster was perfectly cooked. Overall, the dinner food was all good to very good. Seasoned pretty well, cooked nicely, and super impressive with the mass quantities of food that they put out every single day. The dinners took two hours, but I never felt that the pacing was off and things moved along well. We also dined here for breakfast twice - they have a breakfast buffet as well as an a la carte menu which is included. I enjoyed the egg white bowl for breakfast one morning, and then the buffet the next day. I do wish there were some kind of vegetables/veggie dishes on the breakfast buffet but that's just me.

Their taps were out of order, but they have plenty of canned and bottled options. The fish and chips came with two large filets and plenty of fries. I even liked the coleslaw, which I normally don't really love. The batter was a bit thick for my taste but the fish was flaky and not dry. Nate got the waldorf salad, which was huge and had tons of toppings and a nice portion of grilled chicken. The space is quite small so I don't think this place would be great if you have a stroller or anyone in a wheelchair.
