I absolutely love this place, our groomer Estefani is amazing! She is the best! Our dog can get a bit fiesty and she is able to work with him and do all his grooming services. I appreciate her services and my doggy even tried to give her a hug today! I 1000% recommend this place. Pricing is good, there is always street parking, and the staff is great.

This place is fantastic!! I came with my friend for the first time to use the self serve dog wash and had an amazing experience Shawn the owner and the whole staff provided a welcoming environment and quality customer service from the start. I've wanted to check this place out for a while since a friend told me about it and I love it here! The space is super cute, the staff is positive and offered assistance if needed, and gave tips for pet safety/comfort before using their drier and table! I look forward to coming back. The champagne was just a bonus genuinely wonderful people and place even without the champagne

We took all three of our dogs to Bitches N Bubbles for the first time, and I'm genuinely blown away by how good the whole experience was, not just the grooming, but the customer service too. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming. Maddie groomed our Pomeranian and absolutely nailed it! the cut is perfect, the fluff is gorgeous, and the color came out so beautiful. Alex took care of our two Shih Tzus and did an incredible job as well. Their cuts are clean, even, and the little pops of color on their tails came out adorable. rom check-in to pick-up, everything felt easy, smooth, and super friendly. If you want a groomer who treats your pups like their own and delivers top tier results, this is the place. We're officially obsessed and will be back for every grooming from now on.

The funniest signs that change every season

The coolest, hippest dog grooming spot around. Honestly, I'm jealous of my Golden Retriever Ruby for the luxury experience she gets here!! I was on the hunt for the perfect dog groomer and tried a couple of recommended spots in LB, Cerritos and Lakewood that claimed they could handle XXL dogs, but they always seemed annoyed at Ruby. She's a very loving dog who just wants to hug and spin around. I was paying over $200 for her to come back traumatized and sometimes even with burns from dryers. My first time at Bitches N Bubbles in 2023 was such a relief. Someone recommended them in a Facebook group and their name caught my attention. I called ahead and they kindly walked me through what to expect. They also made sure I submitted Ruby's vaccine records, which reassured me that they care about keeping every pup safe and healthy. Stef was our first groomer and explained golden retriever coat care and the undercoat in detail. She even apologized when Ruby came back slightly damp, because she noticed Ruby was afraid of the dryer and didn't want to force it. That level of detail and kindness was an instant green flag. Ruby now runs straight to Stef every visit, which says it all. Since then we've seen other groomers here too when Stef isn't available and they are equally loving. Just from waiting in the lobby I've watched other staff hug little pups and kiss them on the nose to comfort them. That kind of patience and empathy is something money can't buy. Once Ruby got sprayed by a skunk and they fit her in the very next day for a de-skunk bath, which is such a unique service to offer. They explained why you shouldn't rinse with water right away and completely saved us from weeks of stink. They truly do the works here: nail trimming, de-shedding, drying, teeth cleaning, and anal gland expression. On top of the basics, they offer fun glamification with bows, nail color, fur color and puppy perfume. Ruby always leaves with a complimentary bandana or bow and sometimes even head stickers. If they finish Ruby early and I'm not there yet, they have kennels of all sizes to keep pups comfortable until pickup. Their self-wash stations are affordable, starting at $15 and up depending on the size of your dog, with add-ons available and they'll even hand you a complimentary glass of champagne while you're there, which makes the whole experience feel just as special for the humans as it does for the dogs. Keep an eye on their texts and social posts, they're always sending out self-wash discounts! Professional grooming prices vary by pup size and by whether you book a basic wash, full grooming, or a specialty service. For Ruby, her basic wash has ranged from about $95-$130 depending on add-ons or special treatments, which is a great affordable price and keeps me coming back. The ambiance is just as good as the services. Parking is easy, I either grab a spot on the street or park at the grocery store nearby and pick up snacks if I arrive early. Inside, there's a cozy lobby for humans, a gate separating the grooming floor, and a clear setup with self-wash on one side and the professional groomers on the other. Everything feels organized and safe. The shop is spotless, with fresh water and treats always available, and they also sell luxury toys, leashes, and accessories for pups. Booking is easy through their website, Square Go, Yelp, or Instagram. I can pick services, add-ons, and even choose our fave groomer. I love how they can even text confirmations, check in if we're running late, and let me know when Ruby is ready. It's seamless every time. I can't stress enough how important it is to find a place that treats our fur babies as if they were their own. Bitches N Bubbles is queer-owned, inclusive and full of real dog lovers who make grooming feel like a celebration instead of a chore. Ruby always comes home happy, beautiful and smelling amazing. Stef is the best with our baby Lucky! We first brought him in when he was 6 months old and he was super anxious and scared. It was to the point that we couldn't get him to calm down. Stef was able to groom him so well despite his anxiety and did an amazing job! We brought him back again yesterday (9 months) and she took him in right away and did a great job yet again. We had our first grooming with my new adopted German shepherd Koda today. Alex did a great great job with my boy who can be anxious at times. Only took about 1 hr for the deshedding, teeth cleaning, nail trim, ear clean, and anal gland expression. Our price was a good value at $115. I could tell Koda was comfortable with Alex which was most important to me as Koda has been through a lot lately. I didn't realize tips are a thing for groomers so we will make sure to request Alex next time and make up for it. Thank you so much, Alex!

Excellent service and communication from this company. My dog looks like a million bucks and is happy with the full service grooming. Stef is my go-to girl because the way my life is set up, I'm not doing it. Give them a call to schedule full service or drop in to do it yourself if you're a hands-on kind of person. The service takes about an hour. Your dog will smell fresh and leave with a cute little kerchief to complete the clean look. read more

Came in today for the first time ever with my little man, Roky, who desperately needed a good wash. I usually take him to pet partners but he always comes back very anxious. I wanted to find a self wash so I can do it myself and not have to leave him anywhere. We were greeted by Alicia, who was totally amazing and super helpful with everything from beginning to end. Costumer service was definitely top notch. The tubs are clean and you get to choose what kind of shampoo and and conditioner you want. After moving to Long Beach with our pups, my boyfriend and I realized the nail tech for our pups wouldn't be able to travel to us. We quickly found BitchesNBubbles, and routinely take both pups here!! They use a deshedding shampoo on both, and have full service (nails/bath/ears/expressing) the whole 9-yards. The toys are also absolutely adorable, and the whole staff is very kind, professional, and knows their stuff. The were so gentle and even got a bandana around Kiwi (she's corgi/Shepard mix and doesn't like to wear clothes often), you can tell each time they go back they're even more comfortable. Definitely recommend this place for any/all grooming needs! I've seen pups of all sizes at this place too, tons of breeds - they price by how big your dog is, so there aren't any surprises when you're paying. read more

I've taken my dog here a few times. You have the option to groom your dog yourself or have someone there groom him for you. I love that they provide you with everything (conditioner, shampoo, towels). In the end, they also give you a bandana to wrap around your dog's neck. The last time I went there they gave my cousins complimentary drinks, which was really cool. I really love Bitches N Bubbles. The service is great and the people who work there are so nice. The name is also so funny. Definitely recommend this place. Forgot to mention there prices are affordable. read more

Arriyanna was incredible, I love how she took her time with my dog and I was allowed to wait out in front. My dog smells amazing and I definitely will be coming back to do the self wash! Their facility was nice and open so you can see all of the washing stations. Thanks to Autumn, we had a poor customer service experience. She was rude to my wife. We made an appointment. The receptionist called and bumped us from our original appointment because "it would take too much time" and they needed a bigger time slot to take care of our pup. Which is fine. BUT, she took away our original appointment offering us a new one for today and when we tried to confirm she had already filled the spot. Then she proceeded to tell us the next available day is a week out. Why even offer a time slot if you're not going to honor it? My wife asked her bump the other patron since she was offered this time slot but she said she wouldn't do it. After we asked her how that makes any sense, she didn't have an answer. Maybe you guys have had a great track record with you frequent customers and perhaps even favor them. That's no way to gain new clientele read more

With the weather getting colder my big guy is opting for cuddling more at night and he was definitely due for a bath and getting on the stinky side. He's too big to get in our bath tub and we live right around the corner and have been meaning to give this a try. They were helpful and helped me lift him in, offered me a beverage and he picked out a toy after. I took my 14 year old Shih Tzu, Toby, here for the first time today. The space is super cute and the front desk staff is very friendly and informative. Meshayla was Toby's groomer and she did a truly phenomenal job with him! It had been a while since Toby had a professional haircut, so his hair was quite long and unfortunately, some of it had become matted because of our walks while it has been damp. Usually when he is matted, groomers just want to shave him near bald, but neither Toby or I like that. Meshayla was able to give Toby a really great haircut to remove all the matting while also leaving him with a nice teddy bear hair texture. Toby looks so fresh and cute! I really appreciated Meshayla listening to what I wanted and doing her best to accommodate while also doing what was necessary too. Additionally, she was so sweet to Toby and friendly with me. I will definitely be a regular at Bitches N' Bubbles moving forward and Toby will be a returning client for Meshayla. read more

Where do I begin.... It was my first time bringing in my 6 month old doodle today . Due to taking him to another groomer and not loving the outcome. I was nervous to try a new groomer. I'm so happy I brought my pup to BNB. Upon arriving, we immediately were greeted by the owner. He was very friendly and welcoming. That's always a plus for me. This was my dogs first time at Bitches and I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately the skill of the groomer that groomed my dog was not up to par. He was left with his coat cut unevenly and there were obvious and noticeable areas were his coat was longer. He had long strand of hair in his paw pads. This was Milos first time at this place. He was going to just get a puppy trim but they managed to give him a full cut on his first time! They tried their best to ask me what we wanted and although he was a bit uneven, I bet it was impossible to leave him perfect considering he barely lets me touch his paws and face. read more

We are so happy we found bitches n bubbles! They have been absolutely amazing with our pup and are always friendly and welcoming. They've even sent us pictures during his bath :). They also offer the option of renting out their bathing stations so that you can bathe your pet yourself which is incredible! 10/10 would recommend. read more

The first time we came it so happened to be the week of the Grand Prix, so they gave Darby a racing stripe bandana (SO CUTE)! I've noticed most clients are small dogs, and highly recommend this local spot for their great service and reasonable rates ($15 for aforementioned nail trim; most big box pet stores charge $20 minimum). The front section is for haircuts and pedicures, and back section is for baths and spa treatments. Don't forget to pick up a beef or salmon treat for your pup on the way out!

Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! When we arrived, the groomer, Gloria, greeted us warmly, really listened to what I wanted, and immediately understood exactly what my pup needed. When I picked him up, I was blown away. He looked AMAZING--calm, happy, and honestly like he didn't even want to leave. I love that they're kennel-free, so the dogs aren't locked up before or after grooming. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. This was hands-down the best haircut he's ever had. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

I was having some difficulty washing my dog at the self-service dog wash, and the staff kindly offered some tips and techniques that helped ease the process. Kody and Sandra were especially compassionate when I shared my dog's sensitivity and health condition. They treated my dog with gentleness and patience, making sure she was comfortable throughout the entire time. I truly have no words for how thankful I am to both of them. I had such an amazing experience at Bitches N Bubbles! This place truly has everything you could need to pamper your pup--from great shampoo and conditioner to nail polish for a little extra flair. Ot is very affordable without compromising on the experience. The complimentary champagne while washing your dog or waiting for a grooming session is such a nice touch--it made the whole visit feel more like a treat for both me and my dog. I recently took my dog Kobi to Bitches & Bubbles, and we had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the place was clean, smelled fresh, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming.
