This place is fantastic!! I came with my friend for the first time to use the self serve dog wash and had an amazing experience Shawn the owner and the whole staff provided a welcoming environment and quality customer service from the start. I've wanted to check this place out for a while since a friend told me about it and I love it here! The space is super cute, the staff is positive and offered assistance if needed, and gave tips for pet safety/comfort before using their drier and table! I look forward to coming back. The champagne was just a bonus genuinely wonderful people and place even without the champagne

We took all three of our dogs to Bitches N Bubbles for the first time, and I'm genuinely blown away by how good the whole experience was, not just the grooming, but the customer service too. Everyone there was so kind, welcoming. Maddie groomed our Pomeranian and absolutely nailed it! the cut is perfect, the fluff is gorgeous, and the color came out so beautiful. Alex took care of our two Shih Tzus and did an incredible job as well. Their cuts are clean, even, and the little pops of color on their tails came out adorable. rom check-in to pick-up, everything felt easy, smooth, and super friendly. If you want a groomer who treats your pups like their own and delivers top tier results, this is the place. We're officially obsessed and will be back for every grooming from now on.

The coolest, hippest dog grooming spot around. Honestly, I'm jealous of my Golden Retriever Ruby for the luxury experience she gets here!! I was on the hunt for the perfect dog groomer and tried a couple of recommended spots in LB, Cerritos and Lakewood that claimed they could handle XXL dogs, but they always seemed annoyed at Ruby. She's a very loving dog who just wants to hug and spin around. I was paying over $200 for her to come back traumatized and sometimes even with burns from dryers. My first time at Bitches N Bubbles in 2023 was such a relief. Someone recommended them in a Facebook group and their name caught my attention. I called ahead and they kindly walked me through what to expect. They also made sure I submitted Ruby's vaccine records, which reassured me that they care about keeping every pup safe and healthy. Stef was our first groomer and explained golden retriever coat care and the undercoat in detail. She even apologized when Ruby came back slightly damp, because she noticed Ruby was afraid of the dryer and didn't want to force it. That level of detail and kindness was an instant green flag. Ruby now runs straight to Stef every visit, which says it all. Since then we've seen other groomers here too when Stef isn't available and they are equally loving. Just from waiting in the lobby I've watched other staff hug little pups and kiss them on the nose to comfort them. That kind of patience and empathy is something money can't buy. Once Ruby got sprayed by a skunk and they fit her in the very next day for a de-skunk bath, which is such a unique service to offer. They explained why you shouldn't rinse with water right away and completely saved us from weeks of stink. They truly do the works here: nail trimming, de-shedding, drying, teeth cleaning, and anal gland expression. On top of the basics, they offer fun glamification with bows, nail color, fur color and puppy perfume. Ruby always leaves with a complimentary bandana or bow and sometimes even head stickers. If they finish Ruby early and I'm not there yet, they have kennels of all sizes to keep pups comfortable until pickup. Their self-wash stations are affordable, starting at $15 and up depending on the size of your dog, with add-ons available and they'll even hand you a complimentary glass of champagne while you're there, which makes the whole experience feel just as special for the humans as it does for the dogs. Keep an eye on their texts and social posts, they're always sending out self-wash discounts! Professional grooming prices vary by pup size and by whether you book a basic wash, full grooming, or a specialty service. For Ruby, her basic wash has ranged from about $95-$130 depending on add-ons or special treatments, which is a great affordable price and keeps me coming back. The ambiance is just as good as the services. Parking is easy, I either grab a spot on the street or park at the grocery store nearby and pick up snacks if I arrive early. Inside, there's a cozy lobby for humans, a gate separating the grooming floor, and a clear setup with self-wash on one side and the professional groomers on the other. Everything feels organized and safe. The shop is spotless, with fresh water and treats always available, and they also sell luxury toys, leashes, and accessories for pups. Booking is easy through their website, Square Go, Yelp, or Instagram. I can pick services, add-ons, and even choose our fave groomer. I love how they can even text confirmations, check in if we're running late, and let me know when Ruby is ready. It's seamless every time. I can't stress enough how important it is to find a place that treats our fur babies as if they were their own. Bitches N Bubbles is queer-owned, inclusive and full of real dog lovers who make grooming feel like a celebration instead of a chore. Ruby always comes home happy, beautiful and smelling amazing. Stef is the best with our baby Lucky! We first brought him in when he was 6 months old and he was super anxious and scared. It was to the point that we couldn't get him to calm down. Stef was able to groom him so well despite his anxiety and did an amazing job! We brought him back again yesterday (9 months) and she took him in right away and did a great job yet again. We had our first grooming with my new adopted German shepherd Koda today. Alex did a great great job with my boy who can be anxious at times. Only took about 1 hr for the deshedding, teeth cleaning, nail trim, ear clean, and anal gland expression. Our price was a good value at $115. I could tell Koda was comfortable with Alex which was most important to me as Koda has been through a lot lately. I didn't realize tips are a thing for groomers so we will make sure to request Alex next time and make up for it. Thank you so much, Alex!

I've been bringing my almost two-year-old maltipoo, Zara, to Bitches N Bubbles since she was a puppy, and I couldn't be happier with the care she's received. Zara got her very first grooming here, and it's been an amazing experience every time. Aaron is our go-to groomer, and he's simply the best! He's always so patient and loving with Zara, even when she's hesitant to let him trim her nails. His attention to detail and gentle approach really stand out. I don't ever write reviews because I feel like it takes too much effort but I've sent all my dog parents here. My maltipoo been traumatize, at other groomers but not here. They are quick I love that you don't need to have them there all day and no nicks or cuts. I love that it's not overly crowded with stacked cages. I normally would book the first appointment of the day since it's more quieter for my dog with anxiety. Steph is so great with Mochi. Thank you for the upmost care. She would usually come in with her brother Bum Bum but unfortunately he had passed and my maltipoo is currently on chemotherapy from lymphoma cancer so we aren't able to bring her in. read more

Just relocated and was looking for a groomer we could really trust with our fur child (bernedoodle). We've been here two times and both times the groomers have been amazing. They were both so welcoming and they carefully took note of what we were wanting/needing in a cut. During pick up, they pointed out some things they noticed with our pup and how we could treat it at home or with our vet. Both times our doodle came out looking great and as happy as can be. Scheduling and rescheduling is also so convenient and easy. Last but definitely not least, we love that their prices don't make it feel like we're bleeding money every time our pup needs a grooming. I had been taking my dog here for the last 3 years and he would bark from the moment we walked in the door until I picked him up. The last appointment, his haircut was extremely shabby and the groomer didn't properly cut ALL of his nails. Maybe because he was barking, I'm not sure. Shout out to Tatiana who did an amazing job grooming my 6 month old goldendoodle puppy!! Left her looking more beautiful and did a great job not cutting her fur too short to still be able to see her wavy curls. She had great technique when cutting around her long eyelashes, giving her a great teddy bear cut. Tatiana was patient with my fur baby and talked to her gently when blow drying her and cutting her nails. Definitely requesting Tatiana when i go back to get her fresh cut again! read more

Cannot recommend this business highly enough! From the first conversation, you can tell the team here is very professional and friendly! Aaron took care of my Bichon frise, Coconut - he had a full grooming session which included shower, haircut, nails trim, teeth brushing and hair styling. I showed a picture of how I wanted his cut to be, and Aaron exceeded my expectations! Coco had a full on makeover and he looks so good! I loved the cut! I had a chance to see Aaron working on coco when I came in a few mins early to pick him up, and even through my dog's excitement, he handled him with such care! The interiors of this place are wonderful, and they sell cool doggy toys too. You can come do a self wash or get dogs groomed here. They do not groom cats. I had been to this place earlier in the year, and didn't quite love the haircut my Bichon got. After seeing the review, the owner personally reached out and offered a complimentary haircut with their Bichon specialist Aaron. The owner, Shawn, really cares about providing a good customer experience and it reflects very well with his staff. read more

Took my pup here for almost 2 years when we lived in DTLB. Kyla is the best!! She is very sweet and so good with dogs. Our pup is very anxious and a bit dramatic but Kyla was always very understanding and kind. I also love the open work space where you can see all the dogs and groomers interacting. If I could I would give them a 10 star. My furbaby was traumatized going to PetSmart and I had to find someone to help him out and ease him back into grooming the proper way and thank God I found Steff. She's very patient. She's very attentive and my dog needed a lot of help. She tried to help me out figure out what's what was wrong with him and we found out today that it was the dryer. Took my two senior pups here for the first time. I called, left a message and pretty quickly got a call back. They had room same day and since I was working remotely that day, timing was perfect. Dropped the babies off and 3 hours later they were ready. Out of the two my longer hair terrier is the true test of greatness. It was a good job not a great job. She's 14 and still looks like the runway model she was born to be but she did not look fashion week or red carpet ready, more nice steakhouse dinner ready. I will return due to the convenience and good work. It is an in and out kind of place. I've had better experiences at other places. This is a no thrills or frills kind of place. A smile every so often would be nice but I'll take it in a pinch. read more

Just in case anyone else is reading this that has a one-eyed dog (or any dog with blindness), Tanyss's most recent rescue is a one-eyed dog too, so that made me feel much better :) APPOINTMENT/COMMUNICATION: I called on Thursday but they were closed for a staff event; they got back to me asap by text & I ended up scheduling for Saturday afternoon. Elle called when Lily was almost done (only 30 mins later). Their communication is very quick and clear so if you have any questions regarding services, feel free to ask ahead of time! PAYMENT: They accept cash and check, but you get free enzymatic teeth brushing if you pay cash! My dog is 9-10lbs & pricing depends on weight, but for an all-inclusive flea bath (nails, teeth, blueberry facial, gland expression) I paid less than $50 before tip. That is significantly less than I've been charged at other places. Tanyss even explained that with the rising costs of living, they strive to make such services affordable :) MY FEARFUL REACTIVE DOG: was very comfortable here. When I picked her up, Elle (we share a name!!) was holding her & Lily wasn't shaking?? She also wasn't desperate to leave; she was so chill?? Keep in mind this is the same Lily who loses it if I bring her to a pet store (another place that smells like a bunch of dogs have been there). Do not get me started on the vet--this chihuahua acts like she's being deployed. She was confused when we first tried to enter, & Elle (as in not me Elle) suggested I pick her up so she doesn't get out of her harness, which is TOO accurate bc that exact thing has happened to us sooooooo many times. Elle clearly knows dogs, haha. But when I picked her up, she couldn't be more chill! PARKING: So turns out you can stop at the red loading zone right in front for pickup/drop-off, & Elle even explained that if the police pull up, they'll bat for you as a client who was literally unloading a dog, LOL. I didn't see the text about the loading zone & ended up parked a few blocks down the street, because parking in this area is a struggle. Use the loading zone! Save yourself! SUMMARY: Lily has her new grooming place :)))

When we arrived, the groomer, Gloria, greeted us warmly, really listened to what I wanted, and immediately understood exactly what my pup needed. When I picked him up, I was blown away. He looked AMAZING--calm, happy, and honestly like he didn't even want to leave. I love that they're kennel-free, so the dogs aren't locked up before or after grooming. That alone gave me so much peace of mind. This was hands-down the best haircut he's ever had. A thrift/vintage shop, a bar, a few coffee shops, hair salon and nail shop. There's a decent size parking lot but when we arrived it was packed but lucky enough to find a spot. When we walked in, it was a little confusing as it was a vet. The ladies behind the counters were all sweet when we checked in but wasn't sure we were at the right place. Well, it's a vet and groomers on site. It was just a couple minutes wait till Sara came out to greet us. First off, she's such a doll and sweetheart. Very professional and takes pride in what she does. Chatted with here for a little bit about what we wanted before handing over the little pup to her. We were quoted about 2 and half hour or so which she'll call us 20 minutes before hand to let us know he'll be ready soon. Freddie Mercury was in good hand. Picking him up, he was such a cutie. The bathing, cut and grooming was great. Nails were cut and file for that nice finished look. Also he had the cutest little bow tie on which was the little icing on the cake. From the chat on Yelp, Sara explained all the pricing and services ahead of time to give us the breakdown. As it was our first time, she did take good care of us with everything. Total for everything and extra add on including gratuity and discounts for first time, it was just short of 130.00. Price wise for everything was good. It was worth it and her service was very well worth it. Even though we're not from the area and it was a last minute appointment, we're keeping her in our book as we'll be back in town again and know Freddie will be in good hands next time. The place was very professional and clean. There's a drinks section with a mini fridge of drinks and a water station for refilling your bottles and coffee machine. It was busy which is great for them. Sara, a professional and sweet person who has a special skills for what she does. Friendly, sweet and a doll. Highly recommend Sara.

We've theorized that even though he doesn't love being groomed, his love for her overpowers his fear! His last 2 groomers would also send him home with 1 or 2 little razor burns, which I guess isn't super uncommon when dogs get a short cut, but Kaleigh has NEVER sent him home with anything, which makes me feel like he is in such good hands. I was having some difficulty washing my dog at the self-service dog wash, and the staff kindly offered some tips and techniques that helped ease the process. Kody and Sandra were especially compassionate when I shared my dog's sensitivity and health condition. They treated my dog with gentleness and patience, making sure she was comfortable throughout the entire time. I truly have no words for how thankful I am to both of them. I had such an amazing experience at Bitches N Bubbles! This place truly has everything you could need to pamper your pup--from great shampoo and conditioner to nail polish for a little extra flair. Ot is very affordable without compromising on the experience. The complimentary champagne while washing your dog or waiting for a grooming session is such a nice touch--it made the whole visit feel more like a treat for both me and my dog. I recently took my dog Kobi to Bitches & Bubbles, and we had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the place was clean, smelled fresh, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The biggest thing for me is how my dog feels after grooming, and Kobi came out happy and relaxed -- not stressed at all, which says a lot. He smelled amazing and they did a fantastic job overall. Adopted our doggie from the shelter which includes having a dog with certain traumas that I did not know about. After couple months of taking her to another grooming place they could no longer see her because of her anxiety around other dogs.
