Bought three tubs from Costco and all favors. It taste like hummus but better. I like to use it for chicken salad and I add it to my omelette for breakfast like a hollandaise sauce. Can't believe it's made of almonds and and nothing compares to the taste. I wish the three tubs could last more than a week. It's a great substitute for mayo (which I don't use) to add to salads. It better to find at local Costco store. I tired the cilantro, original and hot. I used to religiously buy this sauce at the little italy farmers market however the last two times they gave me product that expired within 10 days and I've seen it at jimbos and vons with much later expiration dates, clearly the grocery stores get the freshest stock. yes, this shit is the best. it's expensive because it's made out of almonds. the price is justified, even if it does seem high to pay 5$ for a dip. also, particularly with the chipotle, the flavor is intense so you don't need to eat a lot of it to be satisfied. i know people eat this real quick, but for me it lasts for a long time. great on wraps, as a dip, whatever. just get it. can't wait to try the pesto when it comes back.. So the sauces really are "bitchin"! I like the chipotle & the seasonal "heat" one (it's very spicy - contains ghost peppers) The "ranch" flavor is just ok because there is an overwhelming flavor of Braggs liquid aminos (similar to soy sauce) - so it doesn't taste like ranch at all, they should probably change the name. The dip is great with chips, crackers, and vegetables. It's so creamy and made of all almonds! It's not almond butter at all. All the flavors are really good. Not sure why I keep buying this! It's so addicting! If I buy any flavor I can't stop eating it! I have to make my husband take it away and put in our second fridge! I can't say enough about how much my husband and I love this sauce! We eat it all the time and it has helped us eat much healthier since moving to the area. We normally go to the Hillcrest or the La Mesa farmers markets to get it but we've gone to other farmers markets when we are out or very low. All of the flavors are good but our favorite is my far the Cilantro Chili, we've only been buying that flavor since it came out. Not only is the sauce great, but the family who owns is the company is terrific, they are so nice and make us feel valued as regular customers. Amazing. First tried this while spending this past summer in SD at the local FM and WF.. Almost couldnt believe my eyes when I saw it at my local WF here in Phoenix. I do a weekly run for more stock and found my favorite flavor Heat this week. Only one I havnt seen is Bombay, hopefully it will show up soon. I hope they expand to all the WF stores in the US. Scored this at Costco Poway today. This stuff is ridiculous good! I also love the alternative to hummus because garbanzos are very high in purines (which is very bad for gout sufferers). Almonds are supposedly low in purines so this is a great alternative. I also love that they've got so much flavor... even the spicy ones are packed with flavor. Thank you!! read more

Love this stuff. I've only gotten the Chipotle flavor since that is all they carry at my Costco. I'd love to try the other flavors. This stuff is a staple. I eat it as a dip with the Crunchmaster crackers they sell at Costco. So good. And people, please stop calling it Hummus or even comparing it to Hummus. Hummus is called Hummus because that is what Garbanzo bean is in Arabic. Hummus. No dip that is not made with Garbanzo beans should ever be called Hummus. My only gripe is that the only flavor that's sold near me is the chipotle which is a-freaking-mazing but there are a few more flavors either just as good or better that I simply can't recall the names of at the moment. read more

This stuff is totally Bitchin' as the label says. I got tired of hummus and was turned on to Bitchin Sauce by some friends in OB. It's sold at just about every farmers market in SD and for the most part has the same nutritional values as hummus. Just a note to be aware of though, it does contain Grapeseed Oil which is a high Omega 6 fatty acid and extracted from grapes using chemicals and high heat which has been linked to a higher risk of heart disease. Although Bitchin Sauce uses expeller grapeseed oil (extracted by pressing rather than heating) it still contains a high amount of fat (even if it's the healthy kind). Pair that with the fatty acid from the almonds and this sauce isn't as "healthy" as they lead you to believe. I still buy it and consume with carrots and celery almost daily, but remain conscious about how much I'm using in a single serving. My favorite(s) is the Chipotle and Bombay for veggie dipping, but they're all delicious. It would be nice if they ditched the Grapeseed Oil for extra virgin olive oil instead. read more
