A solid spot at a reasonable price point!…read more You have a wide variety to choose from, from fried seafood and rolls to a full lobster dinner, all at a decent price with huge portions. For the lobster roll, you can choose between hot with butter or cold with mayo. My go-to is always hot with butter. They give you butter on the side, so you can pour as much as you want. For the fried foods, you can choose between crumble or batter. I recommend the crumble, it holds its crunch much better and doesn't get soggy as quickly. Lobster stew: Not my favorite. It was a little thin and lacking in flavor, but there was plenty of lobster. Clam chowder: I love the taste and consistency, but they put SO. MANY. POTATOES in it . It's honestly like diced potatoes with some soup and clam mixed in. Still good and reasonably priced, though! Lobster dinner: $44 for two lobsters, which I think is pretty fair. They're soft-shell lobsters, and the meat was sweet and firm. It comes with fries, coleslaw, and a spear of pickle. I also love that they have plenty of seating both inside and outside, plus a bathroom available outside. You go up to the counter to order, which I personally love. It's efficient and convenient, no waiting around for someone to take your order. Tip: Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce are FREE! Just ask for them at the counter.

The cole slaw is excellent...crunchy and fresh with a nice tangy flavor. The fried clams are fresh and crispy. The onions rings are fresh and crispy. The crab roll is fresh and tasty. The fries are fresh and crispy. The decor inside is circa 1982. The tables outside do have umbrella's for shade. There is plenty of parking. The wait wasn't very long for the food. Order at a window and they call your order number when ready. We will be back.

It was a Monday night and we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves so service was fairly quick. Winner of all was my daughter who got the fried chicken sandwich topped with Mac and cheese. Also these fries were better than anything we had on the pier.

I like Cowbell, food is good, service is friendly, and the karaoke night last year was great fun --…read morebut it drives me crazy that ... THE BEER MENU HAS NO PRICES! Cowbell has a wide selection of beers on tap (ca. 25, which is nice) but the beer menu is only available via a QR code affixed to each table, so you need your phone to access the beer menu. Fine. However, reading through this digital beer menu you will find lots of rich detail about each beer, but no prices. Hm, I understand a seafood menu with lobster "at market price", but a beer menu with no prices, why? "Too difficult, because the selection of beers changes so often" was the answer from the friendly waitress. So I took out some paper and a pencil (!) and queried her about the price of three beers that interested me, noting down each before ordering. When the bill came the price was higher than what she had quoted me Confronted with my handwritten notes to the contrary, the head-waitress said that my waitress had simply misspoke, but I was still expected to pay the 'correct' price because that is what was in their digital cash register's system. OMG, why not just put the dang beer prices ON THE DIGITAL BEER MENU to avoid confusion like this! The digital cash register seems to have no problem with "the selection of beers changing so often", why is it impossible to get this same price info on the digital beer menu? Why make life harder for both the wait-staff and the customers? Why create this risk of misunderstanding? Even when I took written notes (and really, who goes thru that effort?), there was STILL a mix-up on the price. Ultimately the waitresses agreed to simply go back and switch the beer on my bill to one with the same price as she had quoted me (although not the one I drank), so all good. But why, WHY? Why not just put the dang price of each beer on the menu? Isn't that is what a menu is for?

There are so many different seating options--you can sit in the dining area, grab a high-top at the open bar, or enjoy your food and drinks outside. I especially loved the decor! It has such a beautiful garden-inspired vibe that makes the space feel really cozy and inviting. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly, which always makes an experience even better. They also had a great variety of beers, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options, so there really is something for everyone. We had such a great first experience here and already looking forward to coming back!

We had to get something else on the kids menu because our kid is not used to red hot dog. That's fine but the wait staff said she would remove the charge. Instead, what happened was the hot dog was taken away and we were still charged the hot dog price. Saturday night, we tried to order online for pickup but their online order system was down during concert night. OK. We go to the restaurant to order. It was mostly empty with a few customers. We're told to go back to order pickup. The wait staff was so rude to me and the kids. I get it. They sell good beer that everyone buys cases and cases of to bring home. Customer service is lacking to families who travel far for a music weekend
