Haven been here several times over the years I can say it some really good BBQ at a really good value. I usually order the 2 or 3 meet combo, although the last time I was here i had the smoked prime rib which was outstanding. Last night I had the sliced brisket and the pulled pork. The brisket was delicious, tender, smoky, just like I like it. The pulled pork unfortunately was pretty dry and had almost no flavor. I'd like to give 5 stars to this place but that requires a nearly perfect experience. The staff here are always super friendly. We went on Wednesday as website advertised all you can eat ribs and we were told when we arrived it is actually Tuesday. I've been here a few times for lunch with my wife and usually it's decent. Nothing special...but decent. The other day we went and I decided to get the burnt ends. Easily the worst burnt ends I've ever had. They really put an emphasis on the "burnt" part. Half of it was so charred it almost wasn't edible. And the pieces that weren't completely destroyed were dry and had no flavor what so ever. read more

It's truly as good as I remembered!! I came several years ago when I was in town and loved it. The bbq still doesn't disappoint. My favorite is the baked beans. Went to dinner here with some friends. I tried the prime rib medium rare. Never tried it at a BBQ joint, but was better than expected. However, I feel I had to eat it with the sauce provided, which I never had to do before. The pasta salad is tasty. The corn on the cob was not bad. I shared some dishes with my friends: the pulled pork was fairly tender and the BBQ sauce is medium spicy. The sweet potato fries were good. The jalapeno carrots are way too spicy; I could only eat one. Service was very nice and friendly. Food came out promptly. Semi sports bar feel with several large screen TVs. read more

This is a place I always try to hit up when in the Wichita area. Even had a big get together with friends here. The location is great nestled right in the heart of old town. Inside is pretty awesome. It is decorated by art pieces created by local artist and if you find anything that really calls to you it's for sale. They have booths, tables and a bar top. Bathrooms are small but nice. They also sell assorted tees and other odds and ends. The food here is what takes it from 4 to 5 stars. This is some pretty good BBQ! It is smoked to perfection and ribs are fall off the bone. One of my favorite things here are the chopped brisket nachos! They have two sauces to choose from, spicy and wimpy. There is a full bar for drinks but they don't have anything on tap, all bottles which is the only downside here. read more

Please go here. Eclectic setting and friendly service. Meat comes dry and you add the sauce which is perfect! Whimsy sauce is good but not as good as the spicy. All the sides are awesome as are the deserts. Be careful with the deserts! They are pretty good size. Food is awesome! read more

Food was pretty good but I prefer Rib Crib. Im giving it 3 stars for service. Our waitress wasn't getting our order right and we spoke clearly. I'm assuming it's the ear piece the staff wears so she wasn't fully engaged in taking our order. When we got our food, she still messed up on one of the sides-No big deal. When we asked her for a refill of coke, she brought water so we had to correct her again and wait quite a bit. It was difficult to get her attention when we needed just 2 items but when it came time to pay, she made sure to hover over us and wait for her tip. She barely gave us room to exit our booth. The prime rib was dry and you only get enough aujus for 1/2 of your prime rib unless you want to pay more. read more

Stopped in on our drive back to Houston. Tried the ribs, hot links, turkey, and brisket. All were fantastic, ribs fell off the bone. Sauce was great - just a touch spicy. For sides we had the baked beans, Cole slaw, Mac and cheese, and potato salad - beans and potato salad were the favorites. Fun space, friendly and fast service. We even tried a local WuShock wheat. Ok BBQ. Not phenomenal. I sampled wings, brisket, and smoked turkey breast. Dinosaur BBQ in NY Jack Stack in KC are a few places that come to mind with a higher quality of meat. Brisket was slightly tough for something smoked 18 hours. I'm guessing this is from the quality of beef but possibly their smoking process. Turkey was "smokey tasting" but unimpressive. The wings were average but unimpressive. Overall an average place that is suitable, but it is not a "must visit place" when I come to Wichita. read more

Ate here for the first time tonight and it was delicious! I had the chopped brisket sandwich with pasta salad side. The bun was very soft, sort of a buttery taste. The brisket was very tasty. I was hungry for bbq and it was just what I was hoping for. My guy had the 3 meat platter with green beans and potato salad. The meats were ribs, sliced brisket and sausage. He loved it as well and he's the picky type, so way to go Bite Me. I loved the atmosphere, very comfortable and unique decor. I especially noticed the paintings and wondered if they were local artists or what so asked a lady i assume was the manager. Sure enough, they are done by a local artist by the name of Rose Litsey. Was given her business card and discovered that Bite Me BBQ is Roses' ongoing art exhibit and gallery. So cool!! The New England Squealer is a great open faced sandwich. I got the beans as my side and that was my only issue. There was more brisket than beans. We were in town from OKC for a graduation. If you are there before 5 you can go walk off some of the calories next door at the antique place. We will for sure be back next trip to W,KS. read more

My parents and I went on a Friday night, and the place was packed. Our waitress was very good. She came over and explained what was going on as well as apologized for the wait. She then came back over to our table and told us that she needed to go put some orders in, and she would be right back. Again, she apologized for the delay. It was probably not even 10 to 15 minutes when she came back to take our order. She aplogized again for us having to wait. I ordered the 3 rib dinner with 2 sides. The food was delicious as well as hot. The only thing that I woukd like to have done differently was to have some butter for my bread and my corn on the cob, but it is not a deal breaker where I wouldnt go back. We were asked several times if we were doing okay. The waitress even made sure that our glasses were topped off. The service and food was excellent. If you have never gone, I would highly recommend it. The prices are very reasonable. read more

We were excited to try the bbq at this place due to a recommendation and piled up the family to sink our teeth into some real, Kansas bbq. ly funny. Breakdown of our visit: Ambiance: They had a area in the front with some souvenir shirts with catchy phrases about their bbq that were funny. Typical bbq joint decor throughout. Drinks: Sodas and canned beers only, nothing on tap. Food: Bbq brisket had a deep,smokey flavor. Tenderness at a 6/10. Pulled pork was smokey and tender. Bbq ribs were a disappointment, really fatty and cold at the center, they didn't even bother to heat it up thoroughly. Not a big fan of cold, fatty ribs. Smoked Turkey breast was a big surprise, it was incredibly juicy and tender and perfectly balanced. This was one of the best I've tasted. All the other sides were mediocre. Also ordered a peach cobbler for dessert, it was almost freezing cold as if it were taken out of the refrigerator as last week's leftovers and they removed the saran wrap on top then served it.. really not a good look for a restaurant. Service: Our server didn't know anything about the food, how it was served, etc and also had to be asked 3 times to get serving plates since we needed that to share everything family style. He admitted it was his 1st day on the job but the restaurant should've had a lead server take him along so he could learn the ropes. Not really his fault, more management oversight. read more

Good restaurant. We like to come on the weekend for the prime rib. The prime rib is very good. The hot links for an appetizer is super good one of my favorites. There is also a hot link sandwich that is great. The service is really good considering they are typically very busy. The owner always comes by the table to ask how the meal turned out. The house salad with ranch is really good. I dont really have a side dish that stands out to me at all. I have had the ribs and they are way too much food for me and they are decent.
