Teriyaki/Honolulu chicken and bulgogi beef with Mac salad n rice
    Motts S.

A friend of mine found this place while looking for some Hawaiian style food. I went with my wife and two of our kids to try it out. Images and names of the dishes were looking/sounded good. My wife ordered a teriyaki chicken bowl, while my sons and I ordered like a Honolulu chicken with luau (pulled pork) which came with two sides. I doubled the Mac salad and it came with rice. The wait wasn't long at all and the drink was separate. Food was sort of dry and a 3.5 out of 10 stars at the most. Mac salad was bland. I liked Hawaiian Bros better than this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Placed looked like it needed to be swept up and bathrooms stunk. Trash was full in the bathroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This was at 11:05 in the morning when they first opened.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My first and last time there. How do I know? I lived most of my life in the islands. I know what island food tastes like. Don't take my word for it.

Portions aren't what they used to be i remember going back around December of 2025 and I loved the place great portions amazing food so I returned recently and I'm not sure if it was because a places a Mobil order but I ended up getting a 3 protein bowl and picked the shrimp as one of my entrees and ended up getting 4 little shrimp it's fine but just not the same

This was a place I have wanted to try for months and I'm glad I did! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is quaint with a few tables to eat in, lots of beachy stuff and plenty of cute merch.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were greeted by the employees when we entered. The girl at the counter was friendly and answered questions about the menu, they have a LOT to choose from. We ordered the huli huli chicken, chicken fried rice and a Sharky's Jawsome burger and fries. Everything is made to order so there's a wait which is fine as your food is hot. According to the gym guy, the burger was delicious and the only negative was that he prefers medium rare. The fries were hot and had a good crisp to them. The sauce was decent. 10/10 Huli huli chicken came with rice and two sides which he went with double Hawaiian mac salad. The chicken was tender, juicy and the sauce was really good. The rice was soft with no undercooked pieces. Mac salad was the best in town. 10/10 Chicken fried rice seems to have the same sauce as the huli huli chicken which was amazing. The only thing I would change would be to remove as much of the fat as possible before cooking. The rice was perfect and I enjoyed the little goyza that came with it. 10/10 We're definitely coming back to try more items in the future. Remember that everything is cooked fresh so be patient! Good food takes time!

I visited on a Wednesday during lunch, which might explain why the service took a little longer than expected, despite only having two orders ahead of me. While the garlic shrimp was flavorful, the chicken katsu was a bit dry, and could've used more tonkatsu sauce. The macaroni salad didn't meet my expectations either, as it was quite bland for a Hawaiian mac. The menu is extensive, so I'm sure I'll find something I like on my next visit. I'm really glad to see a Hawaiian spot open up on the Westside, and I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes! Mahalo!

No idea!! But it tasted fresh and it tasted good,

Another overwhelming menu! We had no idea what to order and when we DID order, it was impossible to figure out how much it cost. THAT said, I was shocked that what I thought was $15 ended up costing $26 and it just makes me annoyed with take out menus. Food was delicious and I have zero concept of what we ate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place has a great bright vibe and I hope we do go back if not to only order a simple smash burger.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We had another great experience at Sharky's. They greated us and offered to help with any questions with the menu. We choose to split a Chicken Teriyaki value meal and also order a Mango Lemonade. Both were great tasting and workers were friendly and helpful.

Another great Sharky's Island Bites experience. Tons of food! We showed up about 10 minutes till close to get our food to go...they were super nice, speedy and gave us some pineapple dole whip to sample! Fantastic!!

Ordered it in because of weather so I can't comment on the ambiance but the food was overall pretty good. The huli huli chicken was savory and well cooked and the chicken katsu was also well cooked. I think both could definitely use more sauce because both were a bit under seasoned. The side salad was pretty good with a tangy sauce with some tropical fruit which was refreshing. Upgraded the rice to fried rice which had a good texture but flavor felt a little off (I think it needs more salt but also if the meat had more sauce I think it would help too). My partner had the Mac salad as a side which it had a nice black pepper flavor and good texture but definitely needed some more of the sauce because it was dry. Overall it was a decent meal and I would come back again but they definitely need more sauce for their dishes!

Loco Moco lunch plate with kimchi coleslaw and macaroni salad

First time visiting as they just opened. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Friendly staff and nice ambience while you wait for your food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is large with lots of options. Tried the Loco Moco which was flavorful. Needed a bit more gravy but can't wait to try it again soon.

The food was amazing! The smoky taste on the teriyaki chicken and Huli Huli is a game changer.

Why do they bother saying you can order them cooked your way? I ordered medium and mine was very well done. Wasn't going to send it back because who knows what happens in the kitchen when you do that? The bun and fixings were fine, but the burger itself was not worth the out-of-the way drive to get there. Fries were OK. Companion had a grilled chicken sandwich, which was reportedly good. If you like a burger that is the least big juicy, I suggest ordering medium rare and see what happens. Service was friendly.

Otherwise, and this is a positive: nothing fancy, just GOOD. I ordered the #2 Single cheeseburger, my friend had the #5 Double cheeseburger; comes with a side package wrapping of tomato, onion, and lettuce, buns were lightly buttered and toasted. The fries were great and so were the onion rings. Decor was almost museum quality- certainly from a different era: old signs, etc. Friendly and accommodating service. Surprised more people weren't there, but we arrived soon after opening. When we left, people were starting to pour in.
