The green smoothie tasted very natural and healthy. I would definitely recommend. For the rating, since I am obviously a tourist, I don't understand the politics of Dublin, but for some reason every store front had a lots of political flags. It was a bit unattractive for me as a customer, but otherwise really appreciated the food and services of the cafe. You order at the counter than find a table if you want to sit. You are given a stand with a number and your food is brought to the table. There are several small rooms. We snagged a table in the first room. It has a fun vibe with locals and tourists. The staff at the counter were friendly and answered any questions. The person who brought the food was also nice. They got some extras for us. The portions were huge! The people with me both got the traditional Irish breakfast. It was delicious! I opted for scrambled eggs with toast. I think it was 5 eggs!! The eggs were light and fluffy. I ended up eating some of the sausage and blood puddings from the Irish breakfast. They were also yummy! We also had tea and coffee. A bathroom was in the basement. To balance out the unbalanced amount of adult beverages from the previous nights, on top of the caffeine kick I ordered the fresh green juice as well. It's a good way to make me think I'm detoxing my body thoroughly. But at least it tastes delicious regardless if its a placebo effect. As for the main dishes, the Scrambled Eggs, Chorizo and Feta with side sausages were so good. Fluffy scrambled eggs and savory chorizo...can't go wrong. Also, the house-made sausages were so tasty too. On the other morning occasion I opted for the Grove Road Benedict and wow so so good! Hitting up a coffee shop was definitely not what I was expecting to do immediately after setting…read morefoot in Dublin; but given that my friends are such coffee fiends that they even put me to shame, I didn't have a choice but to hit up one of Dublin's hottest coffee spots as soon as we got off the bus. The space is rather small, as most coffee shops are, and the prices are a bit up there, but all the coffee they make holds its own against some of the best- no Starbucks quality here- and the food is amazing. Speaking of, if you haven't tried their hotcakes slathered with berries, compote, and some of the most decadent whipped cream you've ever tasted, you haven't lived life to the fullest. It was so sweet, it was almost too much for me to finish, but I won't complain about such a delicious sugar rush this early in the morning. If you're not the "dessert for breakfast" type, they also have your typical avocado toast- don't ask me why that's a thing here, too- eggs, breakfast meats, and of course, porridge. Or, if you're not the breakfast type, they do have some bomb-looking pastries available all day, every day, including vegan options. These guys must also be pretty well-established given that they have merch available for purchase, on top of their perishables. And really, the coffee here is amazeballs. If you come for nothing else, come for that.
