Biscuits and Gravy
Amy R.

Review is for take out- was excited to try this place- called and placed a to go order. The girl taking my order was lovely. Food- Kind of a let down- I was in the mood for some sausage, biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were pretty hard, gravy was meh and the sausage didn't really seem like sausage. Have had better. Biscuits seemed thawed out. Pancakes were said to be good as was the burger. Mine just missed the mark. May venture back to try some other menu items.

Specials at the host counter

My daughter was craving for banana cream pie and saw this restaurant on yelp. I didn't realize they were a diner that offered all day breakfast. Big portions too. Right off university by the Chinese buffet my parents go to. Big diner, there's actually share the building with another cafe/bar. We were greeted at the host stand and put in out order at the counter. They sell $2 slice of pie, this is the small slice. The big slice is $4.

We were very happy with our brunch experience at Bizzee Bee's! There was no wait on a Sunday morning. It was seat yourself, very casual. The space is lightly decorated with taller ceilings. It felt clean and spacious. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. 10/10 recommend "the works" omelet (or any omelet, really). They load on the toppings and layer cheese on top. Toast and English muffins are served with a side of house made jam- delectably sweet. My husband got the corned beef hash with cheese added. Delicious!

Very nice breakfast. We enjoyed the French toast with homemade strawberry jam. I really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Very good service and a great breakfast place.

Everything hash browns

We arrived at Bizzee Bees Cafe at around 11:00am on a Sunday morning. The cafe was only about half full of people, so of course we got a table right away. The restaurant was clean and bright, and not at all noisy. The staff kept themselves busy, bustling about making sure everyone had what they needed. The decor was very simple, a few bee themed items and not a lot else. The vibe was very "small cafe" despite having quite a lot of space. We had a party of four. I ordered the #2 combo with eggs over easy and French toast. Person #2 had the country fried steak. Person #3 had the same as me, but added sausage links. Person #4 had the everything hash browns. Since they have access to the full bar next door, wo of us ordered hot chocolate and a shot of Kahlua. The hot chocolate on its own tasted like instant "Swiss Miss", or something you would get at a gas station. I didn't have high expectations at any cafe, so that was just fine with me, especially after we added the Kahlua to it. Food delivery was a little slow, but not bad since it was all made to order. The only syrup they had was Log Cabin, again to be expected at a cafe. The two who had a side of toast received a very good strawberry syrup sort of thing that was very good. The food was good, a solid cafe breakfast. Our server was great, very friendly and quick to be of service. We didn't feel rushed at all. When the bill came we were pleasantly surprised to see the total was very reasonable for a table of four, about $80. Overall a good experience, we will probably be back.

Met here for our monthly family breakfast. I ordered the eggs, bacon and toast. All was fine. I think everyone was pleased with their orders.

Great breakfast spot for us today! Excellent service. The French Toast was amazing-I had it with their homemade strawberry preserves!

Roast Beef Dinner

Very clean restaurants. Menu is huge. Great selection for all. Pie was good, but not your grandma's. Service was great!

deluxe grilled cheese without bacon

the food was above and beyond! the chicken was a little overcooked/dry but not too bad. the sides were amazing as well! the sprite was usual same with coke! the cherry coke tasted way more cherry than normal which I enjoyed and the clam chowder was really good too!! I LOVED THE GRILLED CHEESE!! the best grilled cheese I've ever had. period. I also spilt my cherry coke and the staff was so kind about it! tipped well and definitely will be back for thousands more food!!

Thursday Special is broasted chicken

We enjoyed our lunch at Bizzie Bees. Dining area is spacious, clean and comfortable. Service was very friendly, a bit slow. The Thursday Special was 4 pieces of broasted chicken. It came with roasted fresh baby potatoes, frozen mixed veggies and dnner roll.Serving was huge, crispy and hot. Hot turkey sandwich was also very big, with lots of tender roasted turkey, dressing, gravy and mashed potatoes. (Potatoes were not homemade but still tasty) We were too full to try the pie, next time.... wr.

Good friendly service, vanilla ambience, and food that met but didn't exceed expectations.

This one A&W drive-in has lived through many varied iterations to its current status. Let's start…read morewith service, shall we? I took a seat on the patio while I waited for my friend to arrive...and I waited a good 10 minutes for the server to bring menus and eventually water. When my friend arrived it was probably another 5 minutes before they came around again. My friend ordered an iced Chai and I stuck with water because they didn't offer brewed iced tea. (Note to restaurants: Stop getting the fake tea from the fountain pop machine! It tastes horribly.) There was only one server and a manager (or the owner). There weren't that many tables but it was noticeable their staff was stretched very thin. One we placed our order, it would be another 20 minutes before we'd see our food. Only after I stopped the manager when our food would come, he popped in and came right out with our dishes. The food failed. My friend ordered the Ropa Vieja Benedict and I had the steak scrambled. My friend stated the eggs and meat was cooked perfectly but the basil hollandaise sauce was made with mustard (powder) and he could barely take two bites before stopping. My steak scrambled was cold along the edges, the eggs, were cooked well, but the steak wasn't seasoned and even the salsa was bland. We had to flag down our server (again) because she failed to check on us, to ask for the checks. Thats when my friend said he wasn't going to take the food home nor did he think he should pay for it. Keep in mind this was just breakfast so I can't speak for all the other offerings but given this experience, we won't be back.

We were helped immediately upon coming in, we were seated where we needed (bc of a baby in a car…read moreseat), and our order taken within a minute or two. We ordered the lettuce wraps, Korean street noodles, a mocktail, and a non Corona. (They're down with the nons, which is a GREAT addition to any menu. Owner, thank you for that, I desperately needed to trick my brain into thinking I was drinking a real beer tonight.) The menu is diverse, they have simple known dishes, and different styles of dishes you haven't tried before to mix it up a little. Give the hare a try? Absolute yes. The ambiance is calm, music at a decent volume, and lights are low, and the food and drinks are plentiful. This is an easy first date spot, late night food spot, or chill evening to gather with friends! The staff was helpful, warm, and super prompt. Will be back, great vibe!

I am a recently diagnosed celiac. I very much wanted to like this place because the amount of…read moreGF/gluten-friendly restaurants in this area are slim. The two positives: 1) Our waitress. For the life of me I cannot remember her name, but she was delightful. Blonde with an easy smile, super attentive to our table, even when we were disappointed. 2) Patio seating. It was nice to have the option to choose sitting inside or outside during the summer months. The patio looked clean and well-maintained. Now...the critiques. 1) The lack of menu modifications. This is a big one for me. To me, this is a sign of a very insecure and lazy chef. The only way I can figure justifying no customer menu modifications is if you were eating somewhere with a Michelin star. This place does not (and food criticism to follow below). What frustrated me is that -- as someone with anxiety -- I checked the menu online. The fine print at the bottom of their physical menu did not make it onto their website at all. I checked again after leaving and still did not see any disclaimer upon further review. I think that's really telling about how unpopular this particular kitchen policy would be if it was made more public. It should not be one chef's option to decide what the appropriate "flavor profile" for a dish is if customers can see aspects from other dishes that they would enhance their experience with a meal. Having a variety rich menu should allow for wonderful offerings from other dishes to brought in for customer-specific tastes. Swapping out different kinds of aioli was one feature that my father mentioned that would not be permitted by this chef's ego trip. 2) The Cheese curds were greasy. And yes, fried food naturally has some grease. Unfortunately the cloth napkins are not a conducive way to remove excess grease. Further, these cheese curds were greasier than other comparable restaurants in the area. It was so bad I had some very fun intestinal distress after leaving the restaurant. So. The first thing I put in my mouth from this restaurant left me feeling ill. Overall, this experience and this menu knowledge was an incredibly unsatisfying endeavor. I cannot, however, bring myself to give one star though, no matter how upset bad food makes me. The service was honestly good and the facilities were nice. The mission of this restaurant -- to serve gluten-free/vegetarian meals in a location that doesn't have a whole lot of other options -- is admirable. I, however, will not be choosing to return.

Pad Thai w/ chicken. It was just okay for how much it cost.
