Chicken sandwich with a pile of fries
    Kathleen C.

The patio is open at the Wild Hare! Stopped in for dinner or should I say, the ice cream sandwich. It's what called me, but being a responsible adult, I enjoyed real food - wings, a chicken sandwich, a humongous pile of fries, and some dealer choice drinks before partaking in the Campfire Sesh - graham cookies with s'mores ice cream. Fun retro decor, music, atmosphere and the staff is engaging and played my game making up new and delightful drinks to enjoy.

We picked this place because we wanted somewhere to watch the basketball game, and the bar was honestly the perfect spot. Service was super friendly, food came out fast and hot--always a win. My husband did his homework beforehand and found out they have pretty high standards for sourcing their meat, which we love so it was a super easy decision to come. We started with an order of the Caulafel Bites--he liked them, but I thought they were a little... funky? They were shaped like little pucks and pretty dense. I was super hungry haha so we ALSO got an order of the Burrata Caprese (basically a burrata + tomato bruschetta with crostinis situation), and WOW--this was amazing. The bed of arugula underneath the burrata felt slightly random but that may be because I'm not a veggie girl :p For my entrée, I got the Steak Frites, and this was easily my favorite part of the meal. Perfectly cooked steak with that rich house béarnaise sauce and asparagus--SO good. It also came with a side of fries that always makes a meal ten times better! My husband got the Impossible version of the Royale burger, and unfortunately it just didn't hit for him--and the Moroccan fries were a miss too. So overall... mixed experience depending on who you ask, but I personally loved everything I ordered and would come back!

I was waiting to visit because I heard there were a few kinks to work out with a newly opened restaurant. I found of couple of girlfriends to come with me to try them out. We visited on a Tuesday night for dinner. The packing lot was packed was surprised to find that it wasn't super busy inside. I was expecting a 20 min wait but was seating right away. I was the only one with a drink order. The cocktails were a little spendy ($13+) for my budget so I went with a $8 Mocktail. Truthfully, it was the best thing that was ordered that night. It was light, refreshing. And I didn't get the woo-woo's when I stood up. I wanted to try an appetizer. It was a toss up between the cheese curds and the onion rings. Table consensus was the onion rings. Now I am aware this is a scratch kitchen and caters to food allergies (gluten free), but these onion rings did not hit for me. I prefer battered or breaded, but the chickpea flour batter was bland and tasteless. They were over-fried and dry. Even though the menu states it comes with a dipping sauce of choice, we weren't given options and came without anything....not even ketchup. After we all tried one, we had to flag down a server for ranch and ketchup. For entrees, Kate got Yellow Curry Bowl. She didn't like the chicken skewer but did like the crunch chick peas on top of the rice. Emily got a Cowboy Way Smashburger. Now that did come with a Gluten bun and looked delicious. I ordered the Cubano. I love Cuban sandwiches and wanted to see how theirs faired. It was not the greatest. Usually the bread is grilled like a panini, theirs was soft and almost like I received the butt of the loaf. It was wrinkled like leather but wasn't hard. It was tough to chew though because it was very dry. No much moisture in the pulled pork and ham. Could have used more mustard for flavor. It came with fried and both Emily and I got the regular fries. Some were over fried and had no soft potato left. There was a side of house aioli and that was pretty good. I dipped my Cubano in it to add some flavor. For positives, the staff was friendly. She checked on us multiple times and was a great waitress. No ordering and billing errors. The place was clean. I didn't visit the restroom but the other 2 did, and they liked its style. We also loved the 90s decor. We stood in front of the album wall and pointed out which ones we listened to as a teen. Also took a group selfie in from of the phone booth near the front door. If you have dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten allergy), this place is for you. If you like all the foods and flours, I would recommend sticking with Chilis!

Heard about this place on facebook. Basically a sports bar with bar food but made in a more healthy way. Randomly tried it late Friday night before a movie. Walked in and got seated quickly. They'd only been open for a month at the time so I think staff was still learning some stuff but they were very friendly and helpful. Luckily they just started doing happy hour at 8pm so we tried a few food items and drinks. Food amd drinks were good but they did forget one item we ordered. We also played some games in their arcade even though it was a little pricey, still fun though. Overall a good experience and great price for happy hour. I will definitely be going back for late night happy hour again.

My wife ordered the Pad Thai with steak skewers. She said it was one of the best Pad Thai's she's ever eaten and would double the order steak skewers. It was the first time she has eaten her entire bowl at a restaurant. I had the Wild Hare smash burger with Nueske's bacon with onion rings. Again, one of the best smash burgers I've ever eaten at a restaurant. The onion rings, my god! They tasked so good. Like mini-donuts. It works! We sat at the bar and the service was impeccable. The bartender was attentive and made very tasteful old fashioneds. We will definitely be back.

Ambiance.....excellent for a girl who was a teen in the 90s!!! Drinks were great! Food was good. Working out some minor kinks could bump this up to a 5. Small tweaks of the recipes (ex. less chicken and more veggies and crushed peanuts in the Thai wrap), servers that are masters at the menu, etc. They'll get there....just give them time!

Pad Thai w/ chicken. It was just okay for how much it cost.

Great food but the linch service is so slow. Cool concept if they hired managers that not only managed, but helped when it was clearly busy.

It was a bit of a trek through rush-hour traffic from our hotel but so completely worth the trip. Discretely located through a door marked only by a red light above it we were warmly greeted by gentleman behind the hardware counter. We were prepared to answer with the password to let us in but for some reason it wasn't asked. No big deal. You are then sent through a door into the beautifully dimly-lit space of the speakeasy. There is plenty of seating, with small tables and some booths. We were shown to our table and greeted by one of the great, friendly hostesses. Drinks are ordered directly at the bar with one of the attendants. You immediately pay for your order which will then be brought to your table. Different but really a nice idea. The music was also nicely unique, with a mix of oldies from the 50's and 60's. An old black and white James Cagney movie played silently on one wall. In terms of the cocktails I have to say these are some of the most delicious and finely crafted drinks I've enjoyed. I began with the Start Your Engine, a delicious gin-based drink. My wife had an absolutely fantastic smoked Old Fashioned, smoked in a large box for a minute or two. Wow! Probably the best we've ever tasted. My second drink was another gin cocktail, the Last Word, which I'd been wanting to try for some time. A fine gin supported by green Chartreuse and lime, this was simply sublime. Highly recommended. The bar and menu is quite varied and extensive, so you're sure to find something to your liking. The space has a great vibe and mellow ambiance. Sufficiently dark, cozy and very nicely and eclectically decorated. Service was outstanding and informative. Reservations are recommended. Like many such places you are "limited" to 90-minute timeframes, which sometimes seems like not enough but ultimately works quite well. The quality of the cocktails, space and service all make for a really enjoyable time. Well worth many visits.

They all appear polished and professional. I ordered the Oliver Burger, the Shrimp and Cheesy Grits, the Spinach Artichoke Dip, and a Stuffed Nutella Cookie. The server recommended I warm the cookie slightly in the microwave and enjoy it with coffee. The food today: spinach artichoke dip is served with grilled bread.... this was delicious right off the bat when the bread is still hot and slightly crispy. However, after the bread sat in the container steaming, the experience wasn't as good. I would recommend thinner pieces of bread with a bit more char on them (like grill marks) and a couple more pieces of bread. I mean, 4 pieces of bread? C'mon man! An okay appetizer dish. Was it worth $15.99? Absolutely not. Shrimp and Cheesy Grits with creamed greens: shrimp were seasoned beautifully but unfortunately were overcooked and rubbery, and the creamed greens were not cooked nearly long enough, they were fibrous and hard to chew, so I was unable to eat them at all, so a waste altogether. The stars of this dish were the charred lemon (like the bread should have been;) ) and the cheesy grits. The grits were divine and I wish there was more of it on the dish and less of the nasty greens. Seriously, switch those ratios around and it would be better. Next , the Oliver Burger: decent, cooked medium, no notes really. The waitress was right about the cookie, it was very tasty with a little warm up and my coffee .
