Best cinnamon rolls!! We went to BJ Cinnamon when they were on Greenback Lane almost every Saturday back in the 80's on. They moved and we thought they closed until we were going to Gold Miner for breakfast and saw 'BJ Cinnamon' sign! We moved from Fair Oaks to Lodi around early 2000s and rarely went up to Gold Miner. We walked into BJ's and was happy to see the same owner. We told him we went every (about) Saturday to Greenback, we had a black Jeep Wrangler and he remembered us and remembered that we had a little dog in the jeep waiting for us too!! It was so nice to see him and talk to him and what a bonus that he actually remembered us. We told him that we would be back soon but we've since moved to Florida so the drive is a bit longer. Next time we're in CA, we will definitely be stopping by there. My husband goes back more than I have due to my elderly Mom that was here with me. Hoping to get back once the weather warms up there. HIGHLY recommend this place and the Cinnamon Rolls are truly the best. Can't find anything here that even comes close!! read more

Definitely has some options of cinnamon rolls but way under whelmed with their donuts. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to Bakers Dozen. So much better. Okay... this is hands down the best donut shop. The owners are so friendly and will often throw in some free donut holes if you're lucky ;) I also love how many options they have. They have your traditional donuts (chocolate bars, maple raised, buttermilk, etc) but they also have cronuts, seasonal filled yummies, and crossaint sandwiches. Their cinnamon rolls are a can't miss, but my fave will always be a maple bar. They've got a plethora of donuts and they always have a line out the door. Get yourself some BJ Cinnamon! I came in to purchase donuts for my staff and explained to her that I heard about the little donut bites they make; how I heard they were pretty great. She gave me a whole bag of them free of cost; how cool is that. I tried to pay her for them but she insisted; she wanted me to have them. Great products, great customer service and prices. They said it was the best donuts in Nor cal. I was skeptical coming from the Bay Area and having some highly rated options out there. (I've been a food snob since moving here to the tri-county but have been proven wrong in most accounts). So anyway, I underestimated how good these would be. Knowing this is 10 minutes from my home and on door dash is very dangerous... for my waistline. The raised donuts were delish. They were still warm despite being delivered which tells me they are fresh. The dough in the raised donuts were so light and airy and the exterior had a light crisp to it. I don't normally order cake donuts because most places make them chalky and dry but wow... they were actually moist. And I did order breakfast sandwiches which the croissant- against light, airy, crisped to perfection and literally melts in your mouth. They forgot my cinnamon rolls and pecan sticky which in normal circumstances I would dock a star but the donuts were so satisfying and delish that I was fulfilled. They quickly refunded me and so now I guess I gotta go back soon. Darn. Anyway was really good. Highly recommend. read more

Okay the donuts are good. But so are they at many places around town. This place is always filthy. The floor is always dirty and you can tell it never gets cleaned. When I go into a restaurant and see dirty windows a dirty floor it's a major turn off. I've never seen a positive welcoming attitude from the staff. They always have this look like everyone is annoying them. Just a "next". No good morning. Pay attention to me and my order don't talk to your co workers that's disrespectful. It looks like BJs must be under new ownership. The cinnamon rolls and sticky buns are terrible now. The cinnamon and butter center is almost non existent and the dough itself is dry. too a couple of bites of the cinnamon roll and threw it away. The Sticky bun looks like a cinnamon roll with pecans dropped on top then some Microwaved solution poured over the top. So sad that the original owners created such a good product and following only to sell it to someone that wanted to cut corners and save money. Don't waste your money read more

We came in the late afternoon so I know the offerings weren't as fresh as they could be and yet, this was the best cinnamon roll I've had to date, hands down. I also tried a maple bar and the donut was very good. Definitely above average. That's not the only upsides to this joint. The man working there (which I presume is the owner but I'm not sure), was super chill and as we left he even tossed us an apple fritter to try since it was our first time in. Top notch service! The apple fritter was unique and super tasty when we tried it. It had sort of a greasy sweet flavor akin to Korean yakgwa honey cookies. I mean this in a good way! Definitely one of the most unique and tastiest apple fritters I've had! BJ Cinnamon definitely knows what they're doing and they do it well. Ok, this is the type of place BJs is and how they run it: I asked for a cranberry fritter (my favorite), they were not ready yet. No problem on my side, plenty of other great choices as you will see. Got checked out and was heading to the car with two of my little ones. Before I left they ran out to my car to give me a cranberry fritter. I mean come on, where does service like this happen nowadays!? Great family running this place. Donuts are really really good, cinnamon rolls, cranberry fritters, cronuts, and a twist with cinnamon incorporated into it. And of course the classics. BJ Cinnamon is fantastic! I don't know what they do to their donuts, but they are just delicious! They are the softest donuts in town and don't feel heavy or "bready," But not only are their flavors and textures amazing, but their customer service is absolutely superb! It's a breath of fresh air to see genuine kindness in people nowadays! All of them are just the sweetest and sometimes they even throw in a free donut with your order ;) A couple cons for the place is that the parking situation isn't the best. Decor isn't the most modern, but they keep it very clean and tidy! I've never had a bad experience with them and their donuts really are good! We bought them for our office several times too, and they're always a hit. Definitely come out and support BJ Cinnamon! You won't be disappointed :) read more
