We spent the weekend around the area and I was very excited to find a bingsoo place!! The employees were friendly and there was plenty of seating. The decoration is cute and they play Kpop music videos- love it! They had an assortment of snacks and knickknacks by the register, but I would not be distracted! I got the bingsoo combo with fruit and red bean. It tasted good-- however the fruit was not typical for what I usually get with bingsoo. They had delicious strawberries, grapes, and some unidentifiable canned orange fruit (mango? peach?). It was a bit unusual but fine. Overall, the bingsoo hit the spot but not spectacularly. My husband ordered a pizza taiyaki and THAT was great! They make everything to order and even my daughter ate some of it (and asked for more). Would come back if in the area! read more

One of the best taiyaki I've had!! Got the 5 piece taiyaki because I thought they'd be small, but I was pleasantly surprised that they came out to be full sized!! Got the pumpkin, sweet potato, Nutella, matcha and taro! Love them all, especially the savory flavors because it comes with mozzarella cheese!! So so good! We also got their bingsoo and love how fresh the fruits are! Such a cute hangout spot with lots of seating area and cute decors! read more

This cafe is pretty big and has plenty of table. I was immediately greeted when entered. I came here to try their bing su. I decided to get the smaller size which was about $11 after tax. It was a pretty quick process from ordering to getting my order. The price is a little expensive for such a small potion. It also don't taste like authentic bingsu. It had a layer of milky shaved ice, topped with vanilla soft serve, and fruits. They have a pretty large menu with other offerings. I would come back to try other things. read more

Hi-ya! You know we go here periodically and what good deserts! Red bean fish shaped deserts--so good. The shaved ice deserts are so well put together and tasty. The place is clean, service good, and fast. They keep the kpop videos running, but is kind of cool while you sit back. Place is pretty much get in, order, eat up and your out. Not so much hang out but definitely worth getting some deserts to top off whatever you had for lunch or dinner. read more

Junni is a cute Korean dessert shop in a Folsom strip mall. The place is vey clean and nicely decorated. The service is friendly and efficient. We got a small fruit bingsu. this might be my favorite spot for a sweet treat. first off, i never skip out on their boba soft serve. there's genuinely nothing out there like it this was also the first time i tried their milk tea (i got brown sugar) and it was tasty! it was sweet, but i personally prefer milk teas on the sweeter side. their boba pearls are perfectly soft, chewy & have a great brown sugar taste. now onto their taiyaki (my favorite part) they have many different flavor fillings to choose from - both sweet and savory. my favorites are always the sweet potato & regular custard. they are crispy and definitely do not lack on the filling. nothing beats junni desserts! read more

Came here with the intention of getting soft serve/taiyaki but we ended up with bingsoo! I liked that they had a small size option in case you still want something else. We had the Oreo flavor, which was delicious but nothing super unique either. I wish it had some other type of chocolate element like brownies, besides the Oreo cookies. They also have some drink options so we picked the Korean coffee. I had no idea what to expect since there wasn't a description, but it was so delicious! It was not too sweet at all and tasted a bit like toffee. The shop itself is a little crowded, and also noticeably hot inside when we walked in. We got a table all the way at the back so luckily it was a bit cooler temperature there. I think this would probably cause me to not want to come if I know it's hot but otherwise it was a good experience with the dessert and coffee. I still want to return to try the soft serve at least, and I saw that they had a sweet potato taiyaki which sounded delicious! read more

Bingsoo and other Korean desserts [Folsom CA] Found this dessert place while in the area. Stopped by and chose a Bingsoo from their menu. I usually get a fruit flavored Bingsoo (mango being my favorite) but this time I tried a chocolate Oreo. It tasted okay but I want my mango next time. I love that that they also have a nice selection of slushies and smoothie flavors to choose from. It was an eeny, meeny, miny, moe moment finding it a challenge to choose what I want to try for my first visit. They also have taiyakis and non-dairy soft serve ice creams with a variety of toppings. The interior is clean with super shiny laminate floors. There are 3 tables that seats up to 4 guests and high top bar table along the window. Went to Junni's after dinner for a light dessert and ordered 2 Taiyakis. We filled one with red bean and the other with taro. The outside of the Taiyaki was tremendous. There was an audible crunch as you sunk your teeth into the fish-like dessert. The red bean was great, not too sweet and more mild in flavor. The taro on the other hand stole the show. If you are a fan of taro, you will love this dessert! We got 2 Taiyakis for $5. Would definitely recommend this establishment if you're looking for a quick and light dessert that won't break the bank. read more

We went here on Saturday around 3 p.m. The place wasn't busy at all. We ordered bingsu with a combo of fruits and red beans. It's a little sweet, but the shaved ice is smooth. Also, we got taiyaki with taro and red bean flavor for to go. I warmed them up on the second day; they taste great. The staff is nice here, and the place is very well organized and clean. This place is in the same plaza as Burma Light, which has plenty of parking. read more

Junni is such a cute and cozy cafe with a simplistic yet clean aesthetic inside. I've ordered from here twice, once through DoorDash and once in person. Through delivery, the taiyaki arrived a bit soggy, so it wasn't really worth it, but in person they are so much better! I'm taking one star off because for the Nutella one (see my pictures), they were very stingy with the filling. On the other hand, the custard one was filled generously and delicious, though I do wish the custard was just a touch sweeter. Still, it's veryyyy good overall, and I'll definitely be back in person. read more

I always come here for their taiyaki, because it's a good snack easy to take out and enjoy with family and friends. It is also unique in all of Sacramento I believe. Their shaved ice is also very special. I always say that I will come for bingsoo when it's hot but I keep forgetting! Finally, on the hottest day last week, I took my kids here and it was amazing. Lovely spot for bingsoo and soft serve Service was warm and welcoming. There are toppings you can add for free to your soft serve; I opted for mochi and yakgwa. The cup portion was enough to share between 3 of us. I liked the mix of taro and vanilla, but docking one star because it wasn't particularly memorable and I wish you could choose other flavors to mix with vanilla (like the pineapple or strawberry flavor). I visited Junni Desserts in search of local Taiyaki! This spot is in a pretty busy shopping center, but parking wasn't hard to find. The storefront itself was on the corner of the shopping center, so I missed it at first. The inside is small, but lots of seating to work with. They also have restrooms available for their customers. The menu was pretty large, but the Taiyaki was the highlight for me. I ended up getting Taro ice cream with a Nutella- filled Taiyaki cone. There are lots of toppings to choose from. I opted for the graham cracker crumbs and mochi. It was SUPER TASTY! The Taiyaki is such a nice balance to the ice cream. It was like a super fluffy and soft waffle with Nutella around the inside. I look forward to trying more combinations of the Taiyaki and ice cream! It's definitely a fun treat! read more

I had an amazing affogato. The presentation was stunning. I was in such a hurry to try it, I didn't take a photo. It was like having half a Oreo McFlurry and then pouring espresso over the remaining vanilla ice cream. I'll go back again for sure and take a photo. We went in on Sunday evening and served immediately. We chose #2: Taiyaki with red bean filling & taro ice cream + fruity pebble topping. The taiyaki tasted fresh (crispy on the outside & still soft inside). The taro ice cream was delicious! We could definitely taste the taro and the sweetness was perfect. Nice Asian dessert place tucked away in Folsom. Feels like you're in the Bay Area with their Korean/Japanese inspired desserts. Their soft serve is delicious and the flavors are light and delicate - the taro/vanilla is awesome! The pastry with filling are an absolute must - nutella or custard are always a winner. Don't come for me people! The man brought me here for a mid week treat. Upon arrival I was greeted by soft spoken young lady. She was very helpful with explaining the menu to me. Once I paid for everything a guy came out from the back to make my orders. He didn't seem to be in the mood. The young lady kept explaining to him my order? It's clearly printed out the receipt. Oh gosh. This place is much better than Somi Somi! I ate two Taiyaki before taking a photo. MAN, THEY WERE SO DELICIOUS! The custard is made so well and the cheese had an insane pull. The shell was well made compared to Somisomi. Light and airy but not soggy. The servers are also very kind. Will definitely come again when I'm in the area. read more

We love ordering the Taiyaki (fished shaped cake with various fillings) and our favorite fillings include custard, red bean and Nutella. I do love the taro as well. In addition to the Taiyaki they have shave ice, boba drinks and other beverages. Very clean restaurant, friendly service and they play kpop all day! During the extreme hot wave in these couple days we would like to have ice cold dessert when on the way back from Tahoe :) . We found this dessert place from yelp, highlighted as Korean style dessert . The store has couple tables inside which was good to enjoy the dessert in group , we ordered mango smoothie , and pineapple + strawberry ice cream with Taiyaki and red beans . The mango smoothie was so good, as I like it was not that sweet but smooth . For the taiyaki , it turned to little soft but no longer crispy , I wish they could fresh make it instead of pre-made . other that that we did enjoy the dessert The owner keep the restaurant so clean and cute , even in the restroom lol Love that and I highly recommend this dessert place to everyone read more

First time coming here with my little siblings and my first time having bingsoo! We loved it! We got the fresh fruit bingsoo and it was very refreshing and not too sweet. The fruit was fresh - it was topped with strawberries, mango, purple grapes, green grapes, blueberries, and little mochi. It was the perfect size to split since we weren't too hungry. The inside was clean, spacious and really cute with the bear decor. Service was great as well. Cashier was nice and prompt with the order. Also a lot of parking since it is in a shopping-esque center. Definitely will be coming back. read more

We got 3 items: fruit bingsu (large) with mango and strawberry, 2 taiyaki (azuki (red bean) and custard), & mango green tea. Each item was so amazing!! 11/10 ate it all up so fast, couldn't even get a picture lol. Service was quick and sweet too. Love the fish vases on the wall and the cute faces on the drinks too. Offer a variety of flavors that can be scooped into a cup or a cone, and they do have toppings, should you decide you want to make a traditional ice cream sundae so to speak. I was able to try several flavors, and quite frankly, they were all so tasty. It was difficult to really decide, and I ended up with the chocolate and cappuccino. Such a great flavor combo! The chocolate was decadent, rich, and the depth of the flavor was perfection. The cappuccino made me feel like I was back in Italy, sitting outside of a café, sipping a cappuccino to start my day. We also ordered a cup with mango and cookies and cream. Yes, it sounds like an odd combo, but somehow it just worked. The mango tastes just like the fruit. It's incredibly refreshing! The cookies and cream is very light and because it is authentically Italian it doesn't have that funky aftertaste that sometimes cookies and cream can. Everything is authentically Italian and authentically amazing! They are located in a shopping center, so there's plenty of free parking. All were so nice and refreshing on a warm almost summer day. Melissa also showed us all the different flights and pairings they do and how she came to work there and her experience there. I loved her back story and her passion for the business. As for the ambiance, there is a small area to sit inside with some chairs and tables and even more comfy cushiony options and also an outdoor patio where you can enjoy people watching outside and live music nearby on Friday nights (when weather is nice) I definitely wanna return and get the full experience, but from those 10 minutes of being there - I know what a great spot it is.
