This little beer gem quietly in Hunterville, NC is the perfect combination of beer, aesthetic, vibe, and atmosphere. From the minute I walked past the cozy couches on the patio, under the electric-blue hue of the "Beer is Lovely" sign, I felt I had entered a den of #beerzen They have an eclectic array of beers and styles on draft, including their own brews and local guest taps. Everything I tried was true to style and fantastic! They also offer bottles & cans for sale. The place is also a vibe in and of itself. From the fun, quirky, and incredible wall art to the equally fun (and funny) beer-books, it was an experience to drink, peruse, and just take it all in. Staff were super friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. They did an excellent job keeping the place ultra-clean too! Their merch is awesome as well, with some really cool shirt & hat designs!

Excellent tap house/ brewery for someone who is looking for something new just outside Charlotte area. Nice selection of beers.

Had a great time at the percent tap house. The staff were amazing as they assisted us in deciding which beer flavors we would want to try. Started with a flight so I could sample 6 different flavors. My favorite was Gingers Revenge" which comes from a brewery from Asheville. It's made with dark chocolate and orange peel. I also really enjoyed Citrus is the new black. This one was made by The Percent Tap House. You can sit inside or outside. They have have a bar, high top tables, some low top tables and a couch to hang out on. There is even a children's table and chairs albeit I don't believe this is a place you bring your kids. They sell snacks such as chips and pretzels. On Friday and Saturday there is a food truck outside for customers to buy a hot meal. I had a great time at the Percent House. Will definitely go again. Cheers!

Great place. Very well executed. Awesome selection of house, local, and rare beer. Knowledgeable staff and chill environment.

Awesome local brewery/tap house that specializes in harder to find and more specialty beers. It's been opened for about 4 months as of this review. The bartenders are super friendly and knowledgeable about their craft. Their selection rotates often, so keep an eye on their website for what's on tap. The place isn't really big, but it's nice inside. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Great little local brewery and tap house in downtown Harrisburg. A perfect blend of charm, atmosphere , fun and good beer. The friendliness of the staff was wonderful. They let you sample before you buy which is always nice when it comes to pricy craft beer these days. Plenty of choices for sure which is great, and I mean plenty of different choices. Beer for everyone. We went on music bingo night which was fun. They played a mix of music for everyone which is nice. The food truck outside was called the blue shack. It wasn't bad , it did taste good. But it's super super over priced. I got two phill cheese steaks and they where 14 bucks each without a side. I mean holy hell. Food trucks are supposed to be cheaper one, but I mean this was more expensive then a happening place in uptown Charlotte. And no side ? It did taste good and had a good amount of meat but it was only a 7 inch roll. Back to the brewery, I'll be back. As far as the food truck, no way. The brewery definitely will be one I return to normally

One of the bartenders apparently only works one shift a week but frequently comes in as a guest. During my visit, she became aggressive and confrontational and attempted to start an argument with me over her boyfriend. There were at least four witnesses who agreed that I did nothing wrong and that I actually walked away from the situation. Despite that, we were still "politely asked to leave" while she continued to escalate and lose control. It's frustrating to see this kind of behavior tolerated, especially from someone connected to the staff. Management really needs to do a better job of controlling situations like this and ensuring that employees (on or off the clock) act like adults in a bar setting. Because of this experience, I won't be returning and I'm unsure whether my local friends will continue to frequent this place.

So while my never-ending battle to get my beers counted in real-time still remains the bane of my ubiquitous existence here, at least the staff make it a little less maddening. To be fair sometimes it is tech issues where the app (which I have a neverending love/hate relationship with) will decide to do some new, weird, baffling yet enraging thing that mucks up my beer count, but I can always count on my Ladies in Charge Izz & Kels to work their magic. I also gotta give shoutouts to my girls Maddie & Stella & Katie for always taking care of me and finding ways to turn my frowns upside down! I have enjoyed the different styles and breweries they have recently been bringing into the mix (I thought I had died and gone to beer heaven when I saw they had 6 yes SIX 3 Floyds beers on tap & in cans!), but have noticed they haven't been adding as many local NC beers like they used to, which makes it hard for a regular, such as myself, on her 17th plate to come in for $5 NC Drafts on Sundays. I appreciate the new daily specials on Fridays/Saturdays and showing more appreciation for BeerKnurds that have been added (notably 1/2 lunch for BKs on Tues from 11am-3pm), but REALLY REALLY wish they would do more stuff (as in ANYTHING) for MOUs (BKs w/5+ plates). All that being said, you really can't beat their $5 off any draft on the wall or hard liquors + wine Mondays or their create your own pizzas (might I suggest my personal creation & fav the "Tickle My Pickle?); the food menu is just solid as their kitchen staff are some of the best (and nicest) in the biz! It's seat-yourself, so we had to pull a couple tables together to fit everyone. One thing to note: it was very warm inside, so I'd recommend sitting toward the back where it's more comfortable. My boys really enjoy this place, so I wanted to like it more, but the food was just okay and a bit pricey for what you get. Most items run about $14.99-$21.99, even appetizers are at entrée prices. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries appetizer ($15.99) after hearing they were "fire." The steak had good flavor, but the portion was light--fine for sharing, but not very filling. One entree, Big Dipper ($15.49), a roast beef seemed overcooked and there wasn't much meat on a large bun. Two people from the table ordered pizza. Neither ate more than 2 pieces. On the positive side, the beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in bottles and cans--from Guinness to local IPAs. The atmosphere is also unique: plates cover the walls and ceiling from guests who've completed their beer challenge, which makes for a fun, quirky vibe you really have to see in person. Dart boards for those who want to be a bit more active. Overall, it's a great spot for beer and atmosphere, but the food and pricing didn't quite match the experience for me.
