I'm on a quest to go to every Brewery in North Carolina and I rarely share them on Yelp, but I was thoroughly impressed with this one. I was in Concord for an event and hadn't been here so I wanted to check it out. The bartender was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer zone tap. I chose the Shifty hazy IPA and was very impressed. It was honestly one of the best hazy ipas I've ever had. I was disappointed that they did not have it in cans or I would have taken them home. We have been wanting to try this brewery for a while - BBQ AND BEER is a great combination! The food is very good, and I'll definitely be back to try their ribs (they were out when we visited) While the food and beer were great, there were a couple things that kept me from a 5 star review. 1. There was music bingo Sunday afternoons, which sounds fun. But - the DJ had the music so loud that I'm pretty sure people a block over could have participated with no trouble. I like listening to good music, but when you're literally yelling at the people next to you, it's not a great experience. 2. My pet peeve - no changing table in the men's restroom. There's room for it, and Dads should be able to bring their kids out without worrying where they'll be able to change a diaper. I don't know if there was one in the women's restroom, but any place that's open to families should have a changing table available. read more

My review is based off of service and the awesomeness of that monster beef rib I purchased. Before this visit, I had only heard about this location. Not being a beer drinker, this was not really on my radar... until I saw that they were now selling beef ribs. At this time, they only sold them about one or twice per week. Having gained an affinity for beef ribs from a famous BBQ joint outside of Charlotte, to have an opportunity to have them within a few minutes drive seemed too good to be true. After arriving and placing my order, I conversed with the young man taking orders at the bar about the joys of all things bbq and how I'd been talking this place for a few weeks now. He informed me that I would be in for a treat as their ribs were superb. After a short wait, I received my bag and I went home. Let me tell you, I fancy myself a bit of a food photographer but my picture did not do this rib justice. For that I apologize... it was epic. I took a bite... why do I hear "Careless Whisper" playing in my head?? Truly the things dreams are made of... Long story short, great food, great service, great location. This place is A1! This is such a hidden gem! The ambiance is always very chill. The pork belly tacos are something I dream of regularly. The wings were like a 9/10. Would be a 10 but they were slightly messy. That's the only downfall. The brews are always solid too. I hope this place never leaves! read more

Ok this place is great, finally a brewery in my backyard, this place is in the Harrisburg area and its in a perfect location (for me of course) but for those of you who live in the area its a great spot, inly has been open for a few months but i tell you its got ALOT of potential. My choices were the stout of course and the amber ale they have great beers and also have ciders. Me and my friends came here the other night and it was nice, no food but they have food trucks that come around, that night we were there the food truck was a no show but that is not the brewery's fault. I would say this place definitely a locals place to hang out, small but good atmosphere. Everyone is nice and they have a $5 flight which you can try some of their brews. They have trivia nights on Thursday and have lots of games to pass time. Overall great experience and we will def be coming back. Thanks guys! read more

So I have frequented this spot a handful of times, things that are good. -Smoked Agave wings , like ridiculously good. -Tacos, any and all are solid. -Don't be a Menace and Jitter-bean are such good beers. Now onto some food to maybe try but just be aware of a few points. - The Macinator, looks good, and is good, BUT not enough meat is used and there is ALOT of bun to it. Like so much bun, too much, but good still. -The pork belly burnt ends, good flavor but just way too fatty for me. They are good, but just very soft. I guess maybe that's the way they should be, but I didn't love it. -It's a great little place, drink local! Side note- They need to have some more bar games there, and fix the shuffleboard table, it's real rickety and the weight pieces are all broke. read more

The food is decent,but they are always out of at least two to three meats no matter when you go. Not sure if it is a poor planning or budget thing,but cook more if there is a demand. I think they just reheat the food in the back,because after four visits it's never been really hot. The water and bottle drinks come out room temperature with no ice. I'm really trying to like this place, but get a little disappointed each time I go We got rushed off last night to close out our bar tab - I guess it was a Thursday night and they're not open past 9pm so that's on us for going there in the first place But it WAS the start of a holiday weekend so you would've thought the owner would've taken advantage of the crowd, instead of announcing to everybody they need to close out their bar tab. The beers are OK - nothing to rave about I did like the margarita seltzer Service is mediocre It wouldn't hurt for them to invest a few dollars in there shuffleboard table game. Maybe some new pucks and sand. Really the only thing I like about it is that it's local and modest and we try to support these types of businesses. Not sure when we'll get the motivation to go back. Cool little concept beer and BBQ. Ordered half rack of ribs which apparently they don't always have. They were a little dry for my taste. They came out with a drizzle of sauce on them would of liked a bit more to wet them up a bit. They had Mexican corn sale as the special of the day as well, basically corn drowned in chili powder and some lime juice. It would of been good had it not tasted like you were eating chili powder. I was wanting some pickled onions which they have on the menu and was told they would send out a small side with the ribs not to get the side but that never happened. Nice new spot in Harrisburg, that has awesome beer and is a great hangout. They usually have food trucks and they do have A few snacks for sale. They have a total of 12 taps, one of those being a guest tap. Lots to try including blondes, IPAs and sours. If you aren't a beer person they do have a few wines. read more

Stopped by the new local brewery in Harrisburg last night with some friends to check it out. It's just off the main road behind the Wells Fargo and kinda easy to miss. They had a food truck out front selling bbq, we didn't have any, but the menu was on the tables inside. They had 11 taps, 10 if them were their own beers, while the last one was a local cidery option, who's is great for my wife who's not a big fan of beer. The place isn't very big inside, but there is also seating out back that is very nice with some lights strung across the back, and some corn hole boards as well. We only had one beer during our visit, but it was pretty good, can't wait to go back again and try something new. The bartender was friendly and let us sample some beers before we made our decision. We enjoyed a pleasant Friday afternoon at Pharr Mill brewery. The pale ale was a good choice for us. My husband had a brisket sandwich and enjoyed every bite. I don't eat meat, but Jeff walked me through a meatless flatbread that was delicious. He drizzled it with barbecue sauce so I could enjoy the barbecue experience. I'm really glad that Harrisburg included a new brewery in the towns' growth that is happening! To be honest my husband and I came here on a whim after seeing a groupon for the brewery. As soon as we walked into the brewery I couldn't help but notice how "comfy and homey" it felt. The bar is small but can sit a decent amount of people. There are also several tables inside as well as an outdoor seating area inside. The lighting and decorations were perfect and the exposed brick walls gave it that historic spark. The bartender was friendly and wonderful to chat with. There was also a live musician who was amazing to listen to as I sipped my beers. The tap list had a variety of my two favorite beer styles; IPAs and Sours as well as a few other styles. I couldn't decide on just one so I ordered a flight. My favorites were the Pharrmer's Daughter and the Tropical Day Trip. The brew master here really knows his flavors as all of the beers my husband and I tired were wonderful. Such an awesome addition to Harrisburg! They have about 10 tables inside with a little patio area also. There are three TVs to watch sports on. They play really good music, have good trucks on site, and have live music! We tried 4 different beers, and they were all really good! You can get pints, a smaller glass, or a flight of 4, and they let you try samples as well. The staff is friendly. We will be here a lot! :) read more

Just tucked off of 49, I recently learned from the bartender they aren't allowed to have a sign due to the close proximity of the church. Oh Blue laws, it's 2020 :). No food besides pretzels and free popcorn but a recent partnership with AJs means free delivery M-F (AJs is closed on weekends)- but they usually have food trucks on Saturday and Sunday. A variety of IPA and dark beer, and usually a sour. Wines are also available, but no ciders the 4x we've been. Different daily specials too! Small, but does have outdoor seating when weather allows. I was so surprised to find that this brewery had opened up a few miles from my house! I hadn't heard anything leading up to the opening, but was encouraged by the find here on Yelp and all the positive reviews. The positive reviews were on point! This is a very small brewery, but I am not saying that as a bad thing. It was not very busy for a Saturday, and so all the many options for games (board games and table shuffleboard on the inside, a ton of lawn games for the outdoor area) were available for us to use. We had a great time listening to the 90s alternative playlist they had going while our group enjoyed a whole table shuffleboard tournament. Most of this review you'll note is about the atmosphere of the brewery and not the beer itself - I'll admit, I am not a beer expert. But my family with me seemed to enjoy the Pharr beers they tried, and I was very happy to see they had a Red Clay cider on tap as well. While we didn't take advantage of it, they also had a food truck out front. I know from following them on social media that they frequently have a whole line up of food trucks throughout the week (as well as trivia and yoga events). I am floored that these are all options to take advantage of now just a few miles from home! I am already looking forward to the next time I am able to return. read more

Wonderful local brewpub! It's small and cozy, has some very interesting draughts (Try coffee blonde!), and wonderful staff. They don't do food, but almost always have a food truck outside. We decided to try a new area close to home. Ended up here. They had a solid musician playing solid 90s music. But what drew us in was their kettle sour and cream ale. Anyone that has tried a kettle sour knows it can go very good or very bad. This one was very good. But the star of the show was the cream ale. It actually tasted like a cream soda. Which is unusual.
