I think I got a half strip of bacon total, maybe a half tablespoon of blue cheese crumbles, and about 6 pieces each of tomato and onion. The steak was lacking in the peppered bbq sauce too. I know I'm already essentially buying a naked head of lettuce with a steak next to it, but for $25+, I feel like there should at least be a more generous amount of toppings. I know the economy sucks but come on. If I'm going to have something delivered and pay like $75 dollars for 2 people not including the taxes, fees, and tip, I think the options should be the same as if you were dining in the restaurant. I get that I'm paying not leave my house but it's not even a whole chicken breast let alone it's completely drowning in sauce that you can't even opt out of having. They had a game on so we were right in front of it. Vanessa was an absolute sweetheart as soon as we set down. She introduced herself and called us "lovelies" and took very good care of our group. We usually come here once a year while attending a workshop in the area. It's just a convenient restaurant for us. Good service and during the summer it is a cool oasis from the California sun in the summer. The beers are always good here. I ordered chili and it lacked flavor and needed more meat. But, I was more disappointed in my Caesar salad. It was a little overdressed and pretty wilted. Our waitress took our phone number when we sat down and said that we had a free pizookie (score! This was a surprise!). Our waitress was very friendly and quick. We ordered the crispy Jalapeno burger and the smokehouse burger. I would say the Jalapeno burger was 3 out of 5 - it was just okay. Didn't have any Jalapeno flavor and was not spicy at all. The smokehouse burger was about the same - very little bbq sauce, but the onion rings were good.
