Our first time based on Yelp ranking. We arrived around 5 PM and asked for a rooftop table so we could watch the sunset over the White Tank Mountains. Unfortunately, It's just the second floor with the only view facing South. Also unfortunately, we were the only ones up there, and the NFL Draft was blaring. The wait staff was nice enough to turn it down, after we thought to ask....and when another table joined us, they agreed to mute it alltogether. My wife, Mary and I both had the 1/2 rack of ribs for about $18 and our 30 something "foodie" granddaughter Erin had the Cubano for about $14. We each tried a different side, between onion rings, regular fries, and a Caesar side salad for me. All the food was done perfectly and top notch seasonings. On a side note, while I excused myself to one of the restrooms, Mary and Erin critiqued the interior as being void of any decorating, especially wall art, which as an artist bothered them a bit. It's a bit too far from our place in Goodyear to make it one of our regular spots, but interesting enough to possibly take visitors. To me it's just okay, when I read that the cubano had pulled pork I was almost drooling, what I didn't realize was that it was spicy (to me) pulled pork. So much so that I couldn't taste the other flavors. The wife loved her club sandwich with onion rings. One thing that bothers me most is when servers have zero personality and refuse to even hint at smiling. In Madisyns defense she did smile when dropping off the check. Came into Rooftop on Miller in the mood for a good steak and an ice-cold beer--and they did not disappoint. The steak was cooked just right, juicy and flavorful, and the beer selection had plenty of great options to choose from. The vibe here is chill with a nice atmosphere--perfect for winding down. This place makes me laugh but we keep going back for lack of options. They run an old school seating to server 'assignment' as you walk in and out greater. It's just kinda odd. And when not serving, the servers and bus boys just stand in an awkward line adjacent to the end of the bar and just kinda hover there lol...again, it's odd. We've had the skewers and beers during happy hour - the pricing is very inconsistent at the end, but never outrageously expensive, just not consistent. And the servers are friendly and everyone works in a timely manner. A lot of TV with all the sports on. Like I said, we will keep coming back but there is something just uncomfortable about the service set up and also the inconsistency in charges. read more

We were looking for a local spot to try after a long day riding our OHV in the desert and came across Rooftop and decided to check it out. Depending on what direction you come you may not see it if you aren't looking. One side is a Filiberto's and other their spot. Luckily this time we found a spot we could park with our truck and trailer this time, but with how busy the lot was and the fact they're building in the lot Nextdoor we won't be able to do it again most likely. We arrived and were greeted with an empty hostess station and a sign to seat ourselves. We chose a high top near the bar. It took quite a few minutes before a server came over, but when she did she was friendly and took our drink order while we looked over the menu. We have a super picky teenager and were glad they had chicken tenders, hot wings, etc. my daughter and I couldn't decide between a club or the bacon burger so we ordered both and split half of each. We ordered of course chicken tenders and another bacon burger. Our food came out pretty quick. I don't typically care for ciabatta bread which came on the club, but it was actually pretty soft and warm. While good it didn't give a flavor of what a toasted club would give. I did like the meat ratio and avocado it had. Fries were awesome and crispy. The burger was delicious, juicy and veggies fresh. I'd definitely order it again or try one of their others. Service lacked a bit and took quite a while for her to come check on us or see if we needed refills even though we were right near the bar area and they weren't too busy late afternoon. I've never been here before and am soo glad that we tried it out. Our food was amazing and the portions were so large that we had leftovers. I highly recommend the bbq platter... great price for what you get and the ribs were fall off the bone tender, YUM!! There was no wait and we got sat right away (around 7pm). Our server was super sweet and on top of things the whole time that we were there. If you are a sports fan I'd recommend this place as it has tv's all over the walls to watch an array of sports. My wife and I are new to the Buckeye area so we are checking out restaurants we have never tried before. Rooftop on Miller came up on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. The results are mixed: Hostess: A+- I don't know her name, but she was very nice and seated us at a high top in the bar area at our request. Wait Staff: F- My wife and I sat at our high top for at least 8 minutes ( watch your cameras). Not one waitress approached us or said hello. We saw several of them at the side of the bar gabbing with each other. Several passed us but nobody stopped and said anything to us. We saw two barstools open up so we moved to the bar. Bartender: D- This must have been regular night because after taking our order, the bartender spent the rest of her time talking to two guys at the end of the bar. When I wanted a second beer a lady next to me had to get the bartenders attention to grab my beer. The only interaction with her was initial round of drinks, food order , 2nd beer and check. No how is everything, nothing. Food : A- The food was actually really good. My wife had the ribs and I had the Cubano I think it was called. All of it was tasty. The food runners were very nice as well. In closing, food was worth the visit but don't expect much service, even though they work on tips, they are too busy talking to earn them. Went with friends to Rooftop on Miller after church. It was fairly busy when we got there, but didn't have to wait for a table. Don't need reservations if less than 6 in the party. Wheelchair friendly. Not noisy for being busy. Food is good. Hubby ordered the ribeye with the sides (mashed potatoes and broccoli). Good ribeye! I ordered the pork chop (yummy) with salad instead of the mashed potatoes (cutting back on carbs, didn't eat the fried onion strings). Our friend ordered the bacon cheeseburger without the bun and it was hilarious that instead of using just a couple of lettuce leaves to "wrap" the burger they used half a head to use as the "bun". The atmosphere here is extremely uncomfortable. The manager, is openly rude and verbally harsh with the staff -- it was hard to watch. You can tell the employees are miserable and on edge, which makes the whole dining experience unpleasant. It's really disappointing to see a place run this way. The food and service get overshadowed by the toxic environment created by management. Until there's a serious change in leadership, I would not recommend dining here. read more

Happy hour specials were running so we got two apps - mozzarella sticks and jalapeño bites - mozzarella sticks were nothing fantastic but the poppers were delicious! I have seen this place on Yelp and really wanted to give it a try. In fact, I have seen a few restaurants in Buckeye that looked to be worth the drive from Litchfield Park. So after taking in a movie at Estrella Falls, we headed to Buckeye. The place was easy to find and had plenty o' parking. We were quickly seated on the first floor restaurant section. It was kind of reminiscent of a simple coffee shop. I never did make it to the rooftop and have no idea what might be up there. The restaurant was filled with mostly blue-collar workers much like you would expect to find in a small farming community. The bar looked like a whole different place with sports playing on televisions all around and chairs filled with lots of folks socializing to a beer and MMA. The menu was thorough and offered more than just pub grub. I got the beef Fajitas. They were spicy and not quite traditional, but good. My wife got a burger that she said was good as well. This restaurant delivered all that they offer. The service was friendly, the food satisfying and the prices reasonable. For me, the drive was a little far, but is a great little restaurant worth a visit! read more

Wow.. what a hidden gem! Lived in Buckeye my whole life, have driven by this place a number of times and never thought to pop in. I'm glad we decided to on a Saturday for lunch. We stopped in around noon and were seating right away. The host was so sweet and our server was on top of it. She even asked if we had questions about the menu! When's the last time someone asked you that? We ordered the potato skins for an app and we both ordered the BBQ burger because it sounded really great! They both came right on time and you could tell they make their food with fresh ingredients and care. Our burgers were cooked to perfection. Exactly how we'd asked. As we were enjoying our meal, a few locals walked in, who were greeted right away and welcomed back by name. This bar has a sport bar look with a small town feel. Very bad experience tonight. I been going here for months and i always get takeout because it's a quick pickup and go. The pasta is delicious but for some reason tonight was not it. I called to place my order at 7:23pm MST. I ordered the Cajun pasta with shrimp because it is one of my favs. Keep in mind usually when I have gone in the past the manager who is a bald male, Latino, heavyset always is nice and greets us when we see him. This time I came home and noticed they gave me a Fettucini pasta with chicken and shrimp, I called back and told the young female at the front counter they gave me the wrong pasta she apologized right away and said it was okay to go back and they will exchange it for me. I arrive and the young host goes to the back and comes back and tells me, oh the chef said the pasta you received is the Cajun pasta. I told her no that cannot be because i always order the same dish and have done so several times and it is a Cajun red sauce to it. She said let me tell my Manager. So the Manager comes and says the same thing oh I work here and i know the pasta you received is the Cajun pasta. I told him no it's not and he kept arguing with me that he knows his menu and we are wrong. Then he started laughing and i told him. I don't find this funny at all. I am glad that you think my experience is amusing to you. I told him just give me my money back. I'm not about to argue with a Manager who does not care to make it right at all. So he comes back and gives me cash instead of returning the money to my card. I asked him for the owners name and he said oh i am the general manager we don't have one. I am requesting Rafael G to read this and please comment because I would love to tell him how his manager is doing and treating the customers.
