Hi, I have to say BJ'S is a very family friendly place. We had a mix up with our reservations for 20 people. The manager said, "No Worries, Come on In" he made us all feel welcome. The ambiance is calming especially for my nephew who is autistic with sound and light sensitivity. The waiter, I'm not sure how spell it but Gueraldo, sorry I forgot. But, he was "Awesome". He not only gave great service but the way he gave samples for the kids to occupy them along with the coloring pages while we wait. The food was delicious especially the steak and cheddar and broccoli bread bowl, yummy . You have to go and check this out. We have plans to come back, bringing my mother-in-law for her birthday . First time here and thought it was a great experience. Service is super fast and we ordered appetizer and dinner at same time. We didn't have the appetizer too long then our food came shortly afterwards. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and it was good. Ordered the beef dip French dip for dinner and it was ok, a bit dry even with the au jus. The ambience is casual setting with semi loud music. My husband has been telling me about the pizookie at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse and was really excited to have me try it. While we were in Indiana, I got the chance to try it and the other food at BJ's. While we had to wait 10 minutes for a table on a Monday, the wait was well worth it. We had each ahd he pizookie meal. I had the strawberry fields salad. This was a great salad with fresh ingredients. My husband had the personal BBQ chicken pizza. I loved the BBQ sauce but the caramelized crust was the best part of the pizza. For dessert, the pizookie (pizza cookie) came with the meal. The pizookie was amazing and the perfect end to our meal. Our server was nice and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to BJ's! read more

I'll say the best thing we had was the pizookie! It was so delicious. The drinks were good! My mom didn't like her margarita but everyone else was satisfied. I usually go to BJs in Orland Park but was invited for a birthday celebration at this location last night I will NEVER come here again. Our server Aaron was slow and not attentive. My husband ordered his steak medium and it came out like shoe leather and it took over 30 minutes for a refire and it was still overcooked. We had finished my meal which was shrimp scampi pasta before his meal came out we were ready to leave. The place was clean and bathroom were in order music was good but service gets a 3 out of 10. Food gets 5 out of 10. I really want my 100 back so I can go to Orland Park today. read more

They have a pretty large menu so you should find something for everyone here. But it's low quality chain restaurant food with average service but priced high. We had a positive interaction being seated. After that things were just okay and nothing to rave about. Waited a little long to even be acknowledged. The server had a few large groups. Although it's not too difficult to even say "I'll be with you in a moment" or have someone else in the restaurant at least bring water to the table. We tried the mozzarella sticks (tasted frozen and warm, not hot), also I tried the $19 Thursday special of sirloin steak with two sides and a dessert cookie. We also had the spicy chicken sandwich with fries and a side of onion rings. Do not order any of these items. I've done the work for you. I had a side salad with my dinner as a choice for my side. It was drowning in dressing. The sirloin steak was tough and it was a strange cut of meat. The roasted veggies as my other side were overcooked and did not taste fresh. The spicy chicken sandwich was equivalent to mcdonald's, but the sauces were way too spicy and no explanation was given as to what they were. The fries were just okay. But the six onion rings we received were tough and chewy and terrible. Being diabetic I couldn't eat the dessert but was bringing it home to someone else. I think that may have been the only positive food item we had. If I came here again it would be to try the brews at the bar for a game or meeting friends. Not for dinner. read more

The good news is the burgers were pretty good, even though they were luke-warm. We ordered online, and they told us to pick up at 7:10. I was there at 7:05 and the bag was there waiting form me (picked it up inside at takeout counter). Waited on right away and drove straight home (10 minutes). Fries were inedible...not hot at all. My burger was ordered medium rare, was well done (probably from sitting). So they do have good food (in my opinion), but if you order takeout, be there plenty early. Absolutely disgusting experience. I ordered a hamburger and it came out pink as hell in the middle, like straight-up raw. Looked like they just waved it over the grill and sent it out. That's not rare, that's unsafe and nasty. I couldn't even finish it because I didn't feel like gambling with food poisoning. Then I go to the bathroom, and it was even worse. There was literally a puddle of piss under the urinal, like somebody just dumped a bucket of piss and left it sitting there. The whole place reeked. It looked like no one had cleaned it in forever. I can't believe a restaurant with "brew house" in the name would think it's acceptable to serve raw food AND have bathrooms that disgusting. I don't care how good the atmosphere or drinks are supposed to be, if the kitchen is sending out raw meat and the bathrooms are a piss bucket, that tells you everything about how they run this place. Because BJ's is close to home I keep going back hoping for a better experience. After 6 times in the past 2 years, its been disappointing. The two stars I've given are for the wonderful beer selections, both their own brews and the assortment of others. The food is "ok" the staff although friendly, are slow as death with absolutely no sense of urgency whatsoever. It hasn't been just MY service, but as I sit and wait for my food and/or bar order you can clearly watch the other servers and staff. At best they "mosey" as tgey go about their service. Even when the restaurant is relatively empty, the service is slow at best. I believe in tipping well for good, or great service. So to be honest I feel bad tipping poorly. My example, my most recent check came to just over $63 before tax. Usually I would tip $17-20 for good service. I left $12 because the service I received did NOT warrant $10. This in my opinion this is a management issue. When management is nowhere to be found in the dining area to coach & mentor staff, the result is you get what you get. This place is trash with trash employees. Bartender was on drugs, kept disappearing for 20 minute at a time. We were literally her only customers yet she could not remember our order. Typical scenario, overworked and understaffed with poor training. Only one person behind the bar and didn't reach out to say she would get to me. Another waitress walked by without a word. Okay first to start is with the food. It is so delicious and the wings are so moist when I tried them. I got the New house Bite Sampler and let me tell you. Best wings ever and I am definitely coming back because the chips were really good and crunchy and the slider were nice and perfectly savory and rich in flavor. Next is the spooky pazookie which was rich in delicacy. The ice cream mixed with the hot soft cookie toasts up my mouth with the moist cookie. The service was amazing . Coincidentally this was my second time at a BJs in a couple days. The previous visit (a different location) I had considered the Chicken peanut Thai noodles but chickened out because it would definitely be branching out for me. This time our very friendly bartender described them to me and told me they were one of his favorites on the menu. So I said, Let's go for it!! OMGEEE! It was so absolutely delicious!! First time here. Reminds you of how Chili's first started out but alittle but more up scale. Tons of seating and a large menu. So many choices it was intimidating. Decided on the deep dish nachos with chili and it was very good. Tried the ice cream dessert special and it really didn't look like the picture but holy s#*t, it was amazing. Only down side is they advertised their pumpkin beer but didn't have any left. But their beer selection is huge. Definitely coming back. Server is nice and checked on us once during this time. It's 3:10 now. UGH NOT RETURNING Place is 2/3rds empty. Guest services, thank you for the surprising quick response, but I will not return as we live over a hour away. We were looking for a nice place to eat and it's very nice inside. Server said there was three new cooks working, I understand perhaps slower service in that situation but that's poor management to schedule like that. But the odd thing was both tables next to us received their burgers before we did and we were there roughly 10 minutes before them. Came here last Saturday for dinner around 9:30pm. The wait was like 30 minutes, even though once seating, all the tables in house weren't even full. So I'm thinking short staffed. Once we ordered our food, it took over 45 mins for our food to arrive. The table next to us had not received their dinner either. Plates of food were coming out the kitchen so slow. Once the food actually came, we were only half way pleased. The burger meat was UNDERWHELMINGLY BLAND! Not even a pinch of salt. Same for the meatballs in the spaghetti. Just so TASTELESS MEAT. The kids mac and cheese was over cooked noodles and sticky cheese from the kraft box that we immediately returned.
