Ok I'm not a fan of box restaurants but I have to leave a very positive review on our experience. First off the waiter Sebastian was on his A game. Tonight was the prime rib special, order it and well it didn't come very special. Let's say a Justin work boot would have been my eatable! I love BJ's but today was not good. The service was super slow which I understand to a point. My avocado egg rolls were not even warm and very mushy. My friends baked ziti - also barely warm- was dripping so much grease everywhere. For the amount of time we waited for our food, you'd think it would be hot. Going to steer away for a while. Flatbread was worth $9 maybe, no cheese, 2oz of chicken, avocado was fresh but i was eating a giant saltine with a single chunk of chicken and a few chunks of avocado on each bite. I've always enjoyed BJ's in the past, but this location was not a good experience. The salmon had no flavor and was kind of spongy like it was precooked and then frozen. It tasted like microwave fish. My son had the Brewhouse burger, and he didn't even finish it. That is saying a lot. The lettuce on his burger was slimy and disgusting. Absolutely love the menu here! They have the best handcrafted cream soda drinks I've ever tasted. Food comes out pretty quick so you're not starving waiting. It's pretty open and what I consider close quarters but the food is top notch. read more

Bjs...It's my birthday and I tried to come for lunch and dessert. We requested the music to be turned down because when we ordered lemon in our waters, she couldn't hear us and it never came. She then came back and we asked again about the music and she told us it was set by corporate and if we didn't believe it we needed to google it. She stomped off instead of just having a conversation with us. She then came back and slammed the receipt down and walked off again. I wanted to order dessert for my birthday and my husband tried to talk to get her attention to have her come back. She told us she was trying to let us cool down. I told her I actually was trying to talk with her, I didn't need cooling off and I wasn't upset I just wanted to order dessert. She then said she would get her manager. I told her no at this point. I didn't want this for my birthday. I won't be coming back to this location. My husband said yes and I went outside and cried. This is supposed to be my birthday. I just wanted something nice. Everyone has bad days but just take the time to talk with people. Don't make assumptions we were angry. We just wanted yo be heard over the music so our order is correct. This is my second time coming to the location in Norman. I have yet to have an awful visit. We had an awesome waiter. He was so attentive and always made sure we were taking care of. The food was great. The lettuce wraps were good, along with the sauces they paired with it. The lettuce wraps are light and perfect for a warm day. The kids menu is great! There are many choices and it comes with a starter, garlic knot and fruit salad. This is a great place for kids. My husband had the prime rib and he raved about it. This pizookie deserts never disappoint! They are worth it. All in all, we will always return! read more

No hostess at the counter and after 4 waiters looked at us and saw we were waiting and chose not to acknowledge our existence we chose to leave without being seated. Grabbed seats at the bar looking for quick bite and a drink. Bartender was super knowledgeable of the menu and pleasant. We ordered the couscous mac n cheese bites and ahi poke appetizers, both were very decent. Decided to try the deep dish pizza, the Great White. While the crust & shrooms were so yummy, the chicken tasted kinda funky. Wouldn't recommend but I know now I don't dig chicken on pizza. Definitely will try a deep dish with classic Italian meats and red sauce next time! The Malbec I ordered was delicious and my husband said his double tall Bombay & soda was spot on. BJ's is a pretty consistent laid back restaurant. Food is good and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I would say a good place to go for a sit down meal with family. The prices are a little high for the quality. Food is consistent and a bit more upscale American food. But it nothing unique from others. I feel like you pay more for the environment than the meals. BUT we do go back so it doesn't bother us that much. Definitely go if your looking for a place for something a bit nicer to meet up with family and friends. Try it out. read more

Pathetic experience. Whoever owns this place should immediately fire the greeting staff before the place is shuddered. My family with a party of 7 was told we would have to wait an hour and a half to get a seat. The restaurant and the bar was half empty. We asked if we could at least get a drink while we waited the male greeter/ host emphatically said no like he owned the place. We took our party of 7 and our wallets and left and will never return. They obviously have a huge staffing problem and want to shift that problem to paying customers. Very stupid owners. In a college town there are many potential staff hires. Apparently few want to work there and given that- we will never ever return. The owner is obviously a big fool and on the path to needing to purchase an " Permanently Closed sign" just like the shuddered restaurant directly next door to it. read more
