    Slow Day at BJs

I'm happy there are still some establishments that are still open where you can pick up your essentials. These photos were taken a couple weeks into the beginning of the pandemic, so many of the shelves were bare. This club is close by and I took advantage of the free 3 month membership, but it's only my daughter and I so I really don't buy anything in bulk sizes. They do have some good offerings that I don't find elsewhere which I enjoy. I hope we get back to some type of normalcy soon!

Love the savings. BUT-going out of the store today. The checker asked me for the receipt of the trash can under heavy Gatorade & Frappuccino. He thinks I have time to sneak in an unpaid trash can underneath those heavy items? 26 total items in my cart and he had time to look in everything? Unbelievable!

Awesome stuff. Great deals and products. Great for buying in bulk- obviously. Perfect little place If you have kids - to get all of their stuff for the week! They have literally everything! Clothes, toys, tvs, vacuum's, computers, watches, toiletries, soaps, detergents, food, frozen goods. Literally everything you can think of!!! Great prices too. Hadn't been here in a while so I definitely will start shopping here again! I was blown away by all the great deals! I got my mom the new v10 dyson cordless stick vacuum and most retailers wanted $400 for it and bjs only wanted $350- so I obviously got it here! I'll definitely be back!

What they have BJ's is a typical wholesale type of place similar to Sam's and Costco. Huge, sort of chaotic and usually crowded. They do have cheaper prices on many bulk items like huge containers of cat litter, paper goods, nuts and frozen bags of frozen veggies but on other non food items the prices really don't seem any better than places like Target. Of course the big problem with a store like this is that you have to buy relatively large quantities and that the selection isn't all that good. You frequently can't quite find the particular kind of soup, rice or yogurt you actually want and have to compromise a bit. The store does take coupons and is fairly clean and friendly for this type of place but it can get ridiculously crowded at times. We tend to go on days and times when we know it won't be too bad. A useful store to save a few bucks on certain things but you will still probably have to go to another grocery type store. You can save money but only on stuff they have which isn't always the stuff you really want.

This is a beautifully lit store to make you feel like you're in a futuristic type movie. Phone and ipad cases line the walls with a giant machine in the middle. They specialize in cases for your electronics and are extremely helpful and friendly. What is neat is that they have "blank" cell phone cases and the machine allows them to print whatever picture you want onto the case to personalize your phone. They have new cases as well for your iphone 6 and 6 plus. They also have tempered glass meant to protect your iphone's glass from breaking.

I initially came looking for a battery charging case for my iPhone 6, which the store was out of. However, the store attendant was very helpful and explained that buying an expensive charging case might not be the best investment as if I were ever to change my phone model then my charging case would be useless. Instead, the very attentive and gracious store manager showed me the extensive collection of portable phone chargers they carried, which were all on sale! I ended up purchasing a $60 model for only $30 in addition to a brand new case and screen protector for my phone, both of which the manager kindly installed for me for free. And because I bought so much, the manager threw in a second free portable charger as well! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for any phone accessories or cases in the Providence area. Some of their products are on the pricier side, but they have a wide selection, the employees are helpful and they do have sales. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchases.

I cut my costs by around 10% when I started coming here. However, shopping here can be tough. It's stimulus overload. It's loud, bright, & stressful. Oftentimes they are out of vital products & there's no reliable way to check beforehand if they have something or not. One time last summer they were out of 12oz plastic cups for weeks. The employees work hard. The forklift guys always make me laugh. I don't have anything negative to say about them at all. However, they seem to be chronically understaffed. They never have enough registers open to manage the flow of customers, & I've had to wait up to 30 minutes in line to check out. Maybe the checkout system needs to be updated? Like prior reviews have mentioned, going to Restaurant Depot is never a FUN experience. It's a necessity for restaurant owners. I'm thankful that this place exists, but I think it needs some updating & TLC. Misc: - Average trip to Restaurant Depot takes me ~90 minutes. - I wear headphones to cut out some of the noise. - Get a cart WITHOUT the top shelf. I've basically concussed myself multiple times on that shelf. It's not worth it. - Take your time in there. Crunch the numbers to see which products save you the most money. - Don't forget your membership card!
