    Slow Day at BJs

I'm happy there are still some establishments that are still open where you can pick up your essentials. These photos were taken a couple weeks into the beginning of the pandemic, so many of the shelves were bare. This club is close by and I took advantage of the free 3 month membership, but it's only my daughter and I so I really don't buy anything in bulk sizes. They do have some good offerings that I don't find elsewhere which I enjoy. I hope we get back to some type of normalcy soon!

Love the savings. BUT-going out of the store today. The checker asked me for the receipt of the trash can under heavy Gatorade & Frappuccino. He thinks I have time to sneak in an unpaid trash can underneath those heavy items? 26 total items in my cart and he had time to look in everything? Unbelievable!

Awesome stuff. Great deals and products. Great for buying in bulk- obviously. Perfect little place If you have kids - to get all of their stuff for the week! They have literally everything! Clothes, toys, tvs, vacuum's, computers, watches, toiletries, soaps, detergents, food, frozen goods. Literally everything you can think of!!! Great prices too. Hadn't been here in a while so I definitely will start shopping here again! I was blown away by all the great deals! I got my mom the new v10 dyson cordless stick vacuum and most retailers wanted $400 for it and bjs only wanted $350- so I obviously got it here! I'll definitely be back!

    Easy to find

What they have BJ's is a typical wholesale type of place similar to Sam's and Costco. Huge, sort of chaotic and usually crowded. They do have cheaper prices on many bulk items like huge containers of cat litter, paper goods, nuts and frozen bags of frozen veggies but on other non food items the prices really don't seem any better than places like Target. Of course the big problem with a store like this is that you have to buy relatively large quantities and that the selection isn't all that good. You frequently can't quite find the particular kind of soup, rice or yogurt you actually want and have to compromise a bit. The store does take coupons and is fairly clean and friendly for this type of place but it can get ridiculously crowded at times. We tend to go on days and times when we know it won't be too bad. A useful store to save a few bucks on certain things but you will still probably have to go to another grocery type store. You can save money but only on stuff they have which isn't always the stuff you really want.

First thing you notice walking in: it's clean. Not "just opened five minutes ago" clean, but consistently well-kept. Aisles are clear, shelves are stocked, and nothing feels chaotic even when it's busy, which, let's be honest, it usually is. The staff deserves a mention. People here are actually helpful. Not the kind of help where someone points vaguely down an aisle and disappears, but the kind where they'll stop what they're doing and make sure you find what you need. It makes a difference. Layout is straightforward, too. You're not wandering in circles trying to track down one item while slowly losing your patience. Everything's where you'd expect it to be, and that alone makes grocery shopping feel less like a chore. Then there's the pricing. This is where Market Basket really separates itself. You can fill a cart without that moment of dread at checkout. Prices are consistently lower than most places around here, and it's not because they're cutting corners, it's just genuinely good value. The prepared foods are better than they need to be for a grocery store. Nothing fancy, but solid, dependable, and perfect for nights when you don't feel like cooking. The takeout kitchen is a bit of a hidden gem. The pizza, especially, is surprisingly good, fresh, satisfying, and priced in a way that makes grabbing a whole pie feel like a no-brainer. And finally, the parking lot. It's big. Really big. You're not circling like a vulture waiting for someone to leave--you just park and go, which already puts you in a better mood before you even walk in. All in, this is just a well-run store that gets the basics right--and then some. Clean, affordable, friendly, and efficient. Hard to ask for much more than that.

Their sushi I go back and forth on- absolutely great selection for a market place though and it usually hits the spot! Great selection of frozen foods- I love that they have the White Castle sliders. Overall, recommend this market but I know some friends who won't go here because it gets too busy. My one note is I don't love the way they organize produce. For example, there will be like 3-5 places where they have celery and it's difficult to compare prices and what you want. I'm glad Market Basket exists, I would absolutely recommend AND I will be back!

She listened to what I wanted, and when I showed her a photo of my daughter's dress, she made great suggestions. The next day, I was surprised to receive a phone call from Sharon. It turned out that my daughter's date had also ordered a prom flowers at Dave's and Sharon was calling to ask if it would be ok if she deviated a little from what we had discussed so that their boutonniere and bouquet could match. I oof course said yes, and I was so impressed that Sharon had taken time to call me and I was equally impressed with how much thought she was putting into the flowers. Both the bouquet and the boutonniere were absolutely beautiful with dainty lavender roses, white hydrangeas, lovely accent greens, and a beautiful bow. The service I received here and the quality of the flowers was outstanding - far better than some full service florists. I'll definitely be going back here for future dance flowers, and I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Sharon for her thoughtfulness and the beautiful flowers she provided for prom.

The fresh seafood selection as well as butcher section are fantastic! I enjoy their meats like steaks and pre-made burger patties. With brand names as well as local products, Dave's is what I look for in a local grocery market.

Some of my faves are the Asian specific things like frozen gyoza, Korean scallion pancakes and mochi ice creams. Perfect place to shop for "Girl Dinner" items lol. They also have unique candy and chocolates. I accidentally bought a caramel flavored white chocolate bar (which I was disappointed at first since I don't like white chocolate) and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. Having never been, I decided to take a chance, pulled a loop de loop, and found a parking space in their decently sized lot that is shared with several other businesses in hopes I could find everything I'd need. Verdict: I almost did! Good news is that I was able to find adequate substitutes to meet my needs. I was mostly in the market for fresh produce and meats and everything was looking mighty fresh. Employees were actively restocking the produce so everything was plentiful in this section. I was hoping to find some ground veal but went home with ground beef instead. Being new to this location, it took me longer than usual to find everything I needed but everyone was very helpful and super nice while I was checking out. I was excited to find some very large pumpkins out front as well so that I didn't need to stop anywhere else for some pumpkin carving that was on the docket for that weekend as well.
