Much needed bagel spot in the location. Firstly the staff is very friendly. They have a variety of yummies and a great selection of fresh bagels, salads, sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Good Coffee selection and coffee is strong. The salads are basic but great. Asian Sesame dressing is the best. The atmosphere is light. The place is clean with lots of seating. read more

If you're looking for a real NY bagel, this is not the place to go. They are rock hard, and the everything bagels have very little seasoning on it. Their cheddar bagels literally have a slice of cheddar cheese melted on top. When I ordered delivery the container of cream cheese was cracked open and got all over the bag. When I called to get a refund they insisted they had to come get it to "prove" to the owner. I already threw it all in our garbage because of the mess, and they insisted they would come into our house and go through our garbage to get the cream cheese. How crazy is that!? BK definitely has some of the best bagels in Brooklyn. They're soft, perfectly toasted and the cream cheese is delicious. Service is always fast and the energy in the shop is always lively. I recommend the nova lox, or my classic order of a regular drip coffee and a plain bagel with have blueberry and half strawberry cream cheese! 10/10 read more

I order iced iced latte plus salmon goodness on the baguette. I was watching the girl making my iced latte and i knew it would be no good since she put too much milk and not enough iced ( i used to be a barista + i drank iced latter everyday for the padt 5 years). When it was time to pour in 2 shots of espresso there was not enough space so i saw her pour only 1. 35 shots. Obviously, my latte was white so i asked and she said that was how latte supposed to be. I asked if it was 2 shots of espresso and she lied and said yes. Then they offered to pour me another shot of espresso. I was hesitated because another hot shot of espresso would melt all the ice and it would become lukewarm iced latte. So i said no at first. But then couldn't stand drinking milk so I complained again. The woman said, "we offered to give you another shot of espresso, you still want it?". I was going to ask for her to make me a bew one but I was to frustrated of how they seem to have so little knowledge on coffee. As for the salmon goodness. It is fine. Still eating it right now. There aren't many great places that sell bagels in the neighborhood, so I was glad to have stumbled upon this gem under the subway tracks on Broadway. If not the usual bagel and cream cheese, I order their fried egg BTA on a whole wheat bagel. Delicious! Depending on the traffic, it can take 10 minutes for your food to be ready. It's totally worth the wait! Their coffee is great too. I recommend this place for anyone who's looking for some good bagels to feast on. read more

Definitely did not fill either of us up, when a bagel from another place would've. We were a bit surprised when the iced tea we ordered was flavored and they said that it was the only iced tea they had. If that's the case, their menu should state that it's flavored. read more

I really like their Walnut-Raisin-Cinnamon cream cheese. Our bagel order has been mixed up here and there. Not good when some folks in the family are lactose intolerant. Had to walk back to get the order right. There is no other bagel shop in the area...our hands are tied to these guys. The people working here are always nice, never in a sloppy rush to have your personal order ready and they pay close attention to what they do while listening to great music. Horrible... Hands down worst seamless experience yet. Two and a half hours later they show up. Not even a call, and the food was terrible. Seriously the worst food Ive ever gotten off of seamless. This place is a great addition to the neighborhood! And super close to the train so you can grab a breakfast sandwich/coffee on your way to work. #Reyes Estrella was our Estrella while we stayed at a friend's place in Bushwick. Our son had to celebrate his birthday more or less alone - away from school friends - while we were there, and our Estrella joked with him, left him spellbound, and went far and beyond any responsibilities she might have had at her place of employment. She made our summer of 2018 in Brooklyn unforgettable. It reminded me that their are still outstanding people in this world. Your boss is lucky to have you! Really it's a 2.5, but I'll let it slide a little because they're a small business, and I want to help out. That being said, there's a reason they're a 2.5. I came in here to pick up some sort of lunch food the other day, and I decided to go with a "Club Sandwich". My partner in eating got a tuna wrap. With about two other people in front of us, it took around 15 minutes to make the sandwiches. Seemed kind of long, but whatever. My sandwich had a ton of meat in it, but it was super disappointing to actually eat. It was like eating a stack of cold cuts you get from one of those app plates with the lettuce at the bottom at a company party. It had no bacon on it. The french roll was untoasted. Come on guys, this is the hallmark of a club sandwich! :( I was starving, so I chowed down on it anyways, but while I was eating it all I could think was "I wish I managed to hustle to Brooklyn Naturals." Placed an a order at 12pm. I waited for about 10 minutes. Shortly after the traffic picked up and chaos followed. Orders were missing or incorrect and people became impatient. I decided to run across the street to drop something off for repair and hoped that when I returned my order would be finished. I came back around 12:20, the place was still crowded with people waiting for their food. I waited another 10 min. Still no food. At this point I had to go check on my clothes in the washer. I did that and came back around 12:35. My sandwich was just now being prepared and, to my dismay, there were no more croissants for my sandwich despite there being a basketful when I placed my order. I had settle on a bagel. Not the end of the world, but after waiting patiently for 45 min I would have liked exactly what I wanted. I've been here twice... Once to enjoy the free WiFi and try a lox and white fish bagel and once to get some flavored cream cheese containers and a tea. I really like this place. The lox and white fish bagel was delicious and filling, though pretty expensive for a bagel sandwich. The cheaper option is to get some cream cheese half gallon containers and make your own bagels, which is what I did the second time. The menu is vast and it's always busy in there. They have free WiFi and the employees are very nice. The last time I went I had a sore throat and the lady made me a really good tea with lemon and honey... I'm not even sure if that specific option was on the menu. It's one of the few bagel stores in the area and I hope it stays around. For those who are posting negative reviews about delivery taking a long time... who orders delivery for a bagel? Most places wouldn't even deliver that. If you think of the man power to reward ratio it just doesn't make sense to prioritize delivering one bagel versus serving many customers in the store... just something to think about. read more

Returned again and there really wasn't a great selection. Barely any toppings and the guy seemed confused when I asked if they had black olives. Coffee was ok. Place needs some improvement. read more
