Wow these ladies need some customer service training ASAP.. After waiting a few minutes for the lady making drinks to come take my order (cause the other one was on her cellphone) I ordered two smoothies, then sat and waited. Cellphone lady called out one smoothie which wasn't mine so I kept waiting until she yelled at me that my drink was sitting there. At this point I said that's not at all what I ordered and I ordered two, she yelled "well they charged you one" and I said no, I was charged $16 dollars and this is my order number. She didn't even look at me or my receipt she just rolled her eyes and called the next person in line. Kind of unhinged to get mad at a customer because you can't read an order slip. Eventually they made my order, but she was still super rude to me when she tossed them on the counter. I am beyond disappointed with my experience at BKM Healthy Foods. When I went to order, the short brunette who took my order had the most annoyed look on her face, making me feel completely unwelcome. I clearly ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks, and she confirmed both. Despite this, she only gave me one and acted annoyed when I pointed out the mistake. She claimed she only charged me for half of the order, so that's all I got. I told her I still wanted the other sandwich and drink. She charged me again but only gave me the sandwich without the drink. The final straw was finding a hair in my sandwich. If the staff hates their job so much, they should leave. I shouldn't have to deal with this kind of grief when I'm paying for a meal. Today I went in to get a pomegranate cup, as soon as I got in the car and took one spoonful I noticed that half of them were brown already. Contemplated going in but i paid $10 for this small cup so I went back inside and told the lady if I could have a different cup or my money back. Although my turkey sammy looked good, full of crispy romaine and fresh tomatoes, and other sandwich accoutrements, the turkey was slimy and low quality and the bread was average. Definitely a very simple sandwich I could easily make at home and probably better. But again, a huge variety of fresh juices, smoothies and acai bowls filled with fresh fruit at solid prices. I've been to all locations of this place and have always ordered the same drink.. let's keep in mind that are expensive! I got this drink and it's horrible the ginger is to overpowering to drink it at all! So I called to see if I can just get a replacement maybe with less ginger or none.. they said they can't do that and that their ginger is strong today.. I get it so why not make one with no ginger ? I used to come here all the time and never had a problem. Today after years and years of not coming to this location I came to grab a quick lunch on the go. Something to eat on the road. Lol as so I thought. The waiting time was super quick I had No problem with that but what the heck is this? Not a wrap that's for sure. First of all I attempted to eat half of it and it was not cut properly, I could not even grab a piece I had to cut the other part and yes that's how they "wrapped it" couldn't eat it on the go for sure. The taste was not the worse but very bland and simple not savory at all. The chips I probably got 4 normal chips and the rest was crumbles. For my biónico I ordered No Papaya and no granola which they got right, however i only got part of one strawberry and the the taste was very awful. As if they used the same knife to cut the onions. Over all I would not recommend ordering a wrap for sure. It was not busy and they were quick so I would assume they had time to use different knives and also time to cut and add more strawberries. As for the Biónico I would not buy it here again I rather spend my money at Guadalajara Nieves where they actually give you enough fruit that you pay for and the quality is much better. Wow Who would have thought that one of the best acai bowls I'll ever have it here. My friend and I were driving down from Santa Cruz back to LA. After a weekend of binge eating deep fried foods, we decided to get something on the healthier side. Yelped this place, and it was on the way. We both got the warrior bowl and were surprised by how delicious (and large) it was!! The bowl is filled all the way up to the top of the container with a large variety of different fruits and toppings. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh!! The bowl was so large that we had a hard time finishing the food (these aren't the dinky/weak bowls you get here in SoCal). I've been coming here consistently for the last few months and have noticed a decline in their service and food. I ordered a veggie sandwich two days ago and it was inedible. The spinach was old and soggy and the lettuce had a terrible taste. They also got my order wrong on top of that. I was on my lunch break and couldn't go back so I called and let them know and they basically said oh well. They told me to come back and get a new one but I was at work so I couldn't. Now I went to the one on Constitution first, it was close even though it was in business hours, on my way out of town I stopped by this one hoping it was open so I could try the bowl I saw on line. I had a great experience yesterday coming in . The cashier was attentive and super polite . Asked what fruit I wanted in my cup and cut up more Jicama for my cup . Mind you that it wasn't busy . Today I went in and the cashier seemed frazzled because the only customer in there didn't have avocado in her sandwich. When I ordered my cup she wanted to give me a cup that was sitting there when I told her I wanted one fruit in the cup and some of second one.
